Superbly located actually in Kalkan old town, Kulenin Evi is a detached, air conditioned, four bedroom, four bathroom holiday villa to rent offering stunning views of Kalkan Bay, Kalkan village and the surrounding Taurus Mountains.

The villa sleeps 8/9 and is spacious, tastefully furnished and surrounded by unusually large private gardens containing a 32 sq. m. private pool, adjacent 4 sq. m. 13 hydro-air jet jacuzzi and terraces.

However location makes Kulenin Evi extra special, there are few holiday villas to rent actually in Kalkan old town, the majority are in the hills surrounding Kalkan. Kulenin Evi is wonderfully positioned... 200 yards from the beach and 2 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants enabling you to fully enjoy the amenities and atmosphere of Kalkan old town.

On the ground floor is a large, air-conditioned double bedroom, (5.7m x 3.8m) with a superking sized bed, dressing room and ensuite shower room and an air conditioned twin bedded room with adjacent shower room, both with direct access to the gardens and terraces.

The spacious, air conditioned sitting room, 30 sq.m., with two balconies overlooking Kalkan Bay is on the first floor. The sitting room has seating for nine, two three seater sofas, a two seater sofa and an armchair. There are DVD and CD players provided with a range of DVDs/CDs, bring your own if you want to, plus an iPod/iPhone docking station. There are also some games and a library of about 100 books.

The separate kitchen/dining room is also on the first floor with an extensive range of units, crockery, cutlery, glasswear and cooking utensils, a 4 ring gas hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, fridge and freezer and water cooler. There is also a large dining table with chairs. The balcony overlooks the garden and pool with steps down to the patio where there is an additional eating area, ideal for lunch time.

The second floor comprises a large, air conditioned double bedroom again with a superking sized bed, dressing room and bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower and two balconies overlooking Kalkan Bay and the fourth bedroom, air conditioned, with twin beds, ensuite shower room and balcony overlooking the garden and pool with a sea view.

You might like to try a BBQ on the third floor roof terrace where dining is magical as the sun sets and the stars come out over Kalkan harbour, the Taurus Mountains and Kalkan town.

There is also an attic room with the laundry area, the washing machine, sink, clothes drier, iron and ironing board and an additional fridge to keep your food and drinks cold when sitting on the roof terrace.

The layout of the villa is ideal for two families or, indeed, for separating the adults and teenagers!

The normal occupancy of the villa is eight people. An additional 9th person can be accommodated in the ground floor double bedroom on a good quality fold up bed. We can organise travel cot rental for infants, costs to be paid locally to the supplier.

All windows are fitted with insect screens allowing the windows to be opened without the risk of insects flying in. Mosquito machines are also supplied for all bedrooms.

Additional Location Information

Kalkan is situated on the South West corner of the turquoise coast of Turkey, surrounded by the Taurus mountains. The area offers culture, adventure and relaxation.

This picturesque former fishing village offers a more sophisticated holiday than the average resort. The white washed houses rise up the hillside from the harbour overlooking a beautiful bay. You can browse in the shops in the narrow streets which wind through the town, looking at glassware, silver, jewellery, clothes, carpets and the traditional hand painted pottery. You can relax in the street cafes or spend time in one of the nearby beach clubs. You can take a dolmus (local bus) to nearby Kas or to the bustling town of Fethiye.

In the evening there are a multitude of places to eat in Kalkan, from the harbour side and famous roof terrace restaurants to the street cafes and bars.

For those who want to explore the ancient historical sites there are many to choose from. You could take a boat trip along the Dalyan and see the rock tombs or visit nearby Xanthos, the capital city of the Lycian Federation and walk round the amphitheatre, tombs and a Byzantine church. At Letoon, which was an important religious centre for Lycia there are the remains of temples to the three national deities, Leto and her twin sons Artemis and Apollo.

For the more adventurous you can hire a jeep to tour inland or along the coast or you can take part in the many water sports offered, scuba diving, sailing, snorkling, cruising on a gulet, parasailing or just swimming.

Or perhaps you prefer the nearby beaches of Kaputas and Patara, which boasts 12 miles of golden sand, swimming in the sea at one of Kalkan's beach clubs or just relaxing by the villa's pool.

  My wife and I along with our two children spent a delightful week at the villa in Kalkan, the villa was amazing with a great pool and jacuzzi teamed with the lovely location and breathtaking views from the large roof terrace, the villa was spotless inside and out(which makes a great change)with all home from home comforts you would ever need.
  Kalkan really surprised us with its great restaurants and bars (some of the best food we've had anywhere)along with good shops set around quaint cobbled lanes, We cant wait to go back.

  very profesionally run everything went as clockwork .airport transfer arranged , this villa if you know kalkan is positioned in the perfect place . kalkan is very hilly and although you still have a steep hill to the harbour its nothing to where most of the villas are situated .we were 8 friends who stayed wonderful rooftop barbecue area super pool area all i can say is book it .
