My girlfriend and I stayed at Myhome-Thailand in mid august.. It is a lovely Thai home not a mile away from the heart of town. This spacious 4 bedroom villa is located in the Baan Songh gated community. We kind of stumbled upon this charming place as we found out about this place personally through the owner Jean-Pierre, "JP", who we met during our first day in Kanchanaburi as he escorted us out to the Muang Singh elephant village for "a day with the elephants" which is a tour that we booked through his company at www.kanchanaburi-transport-tours.com/. Jp proved an incredibly resourceful friend to have as he is fluent in Thai, French, and English and he is very knowledgeable in Kanchanaburi's historic sites, tourism and eco-tourism.. By the end of our amazing day excursion with JP, we were so impressed with the overall kindness and service we received we immediately decided to stay at Myhome-thailand.com.. Jp, his wife Orny, and daughter Cindy together run this family owned business that provide all you'll ever need for a care free vacation.. I'd actually consider the villa more of a B & B as every morning, Orny personally comes over to make you breakfast.. They live a mere block away so anything you may need, they are right there to help you.. They even did a load of laundry for us!! Also, the community that they are in has a restaurant that delivers, swimming pool, fitness center, and aerobics classes. They also have two bikes at the villa for guests to use. We spent a day on the town and we had a blast!! The Bridge over the River Kwai is about 10 minutes by bike and the rest of the town is yours to explore.. We thought that the price would be way too high for a four bedroom house, however they rent it out by room(dont worry its not a guest house, your party will be the only occupants)... I'd also recommend checking out his tour company that is previously listed as his tours are absolutely top notch!! We only did the Elephant tour, although if we would have had anymore time we definitely would have done the fishing tour as well..

Thank you very much for staying at Baane Song Homestay-Holiday villa which gave you the sensation that you were neither in a hotel, nor in a guest-house, but exclusively in your Home away from Home, in real Thailand, surrounded by Thai neighbour in a real Thai residential village, part of Kanchanaburi city and very near the Bridge over the River Kwai. Our Euro-Asian little family sincerely had the pleasure to welcome and attend the 2 of you, not as customers, but as friends from the USA.

I met Mr. Jean Pierre (JP) the owner of MyHome-Thaïland’s in October, during Jump to amazing Thailand seminar in Dubai and it was a very interesting meeting just on a right time, as I was planning to visit my family in Ubon-Thailand, and usually whenever I travel to Thailand me any family, we explore Thailand. So This time we plan for attractive green land of Kanachana Buri, my long time dream to visit historical Bridge on River Kwai and have a picture, seems to become true, so I packed my bag and flown to Thailand, picked my wife and children from Ubon and drove all the way to Kanchana Buri, to make JP’s green home as my home for 3 days, and it was fantastic experience, he and his wife welcome us just like one of the family member, the house itself located in very well managed and beautiful build resorts area, it was quiet and peaceful place, and we really enjoyed every moment we spend in Kanachana buri, access to city was so easy, Kwai river was just few KM away, there were plenty river side food restaurants, tourist market was not expensive if compare with other Thailand destination, the resort itself offer a free swimming pool for guest, Thai food restaurant in resort offers reasonable rates on every Thai dish and it was delicious, JP services was just a phone call away, I will say if you are tired and you need a relaxation, try these Green Homes of Jean Pierre (JP), it will help you to refresh your mind and soul as it worked for me.
I will again go to this home.. -

Great place for couples! I've been for just a week end with my wife, and we have been amazed by the warm welcome of the owners. They gave us the key of OUR home as they said, because this is their slogan : "Our Home is Your Home"!
The house is very clean, a little hot inside but fortunately we have been able to use the aircon.
Many surrounding activities as a large private swimming pool but not free :( Adult 100 THB, child:50 THB, Tennis court, Fitness accessories...
Anyway we have been pleased to discover some great local thai food, enjoying romantic diner close to the River Kwai...
The only regret we had, was staying only for just a week end. There are so many things to discover and to visit. We know that we will stay much longer the next time we will come back to OUR home in Kanchanaburi.
Great experience of a REAL Thai Way of Living. A new way to travel to discover ;)
