  My sweetheart and I recently spent over a week based out of this beautiful condo just south of Kapaa on the east side of Kauai. The Kaha Lani condo complex is situated on the ocean as well as a nice walking/running path. This unit was one of the rare exceptions in our life where the photos did no justice to how nice this 1 bedroom apartment really is. It must have been remodeled quite recently with stone counters and new appliances. The kitchen equipment (pots, pans, knives etc.) was better than average and actually high end in some cases. We spent more time at the condo than we had anticipated, cooking meals, hanging out on the patio looking at and listening to the Pacific, swimming in the pool(the ocean is a little rough on the east shore for swimming but there is a protected little area about ten minutes walk from here) because it was really so nice. I would recommend this specific unit to anyone looking to have a relaxing time on Kauai.

  We absolutely loved our 7 day stay in Lihue and the resort was exactly as described and how it looked on the website. The condo was beautifully updated, clean and homey. We loved it so much to where we are coming back in November 2011 to stay in the Penthouse with 2 other couples. Can't wait to get back to Kauai to explore for 12 days! I would give this resort a huge thumbs up.

  This condo is beautifully appointed and well maintained. I found my stay to be very comfortable and really enjoyed the access to such a long, beautiful, quiet beach. Being so close to Lydgate Beach Park was also an additional bonus to the stay.
  
  The firm that manages the property, Garden Island Properties, makes access to the unit super convenient and keeps it super clean. You will not be dissapointed renting with this firm.
  
  I highly recommend a stay with Garden Island Properties at Kaha Lani or any other properties they have under management.

  Generally we stay in unit # ,119 but it was unavailable to us this year.
  We have been staying at Kaha Lani for the past 18 years and hopefully will be
  staying for years to come.We like the location of the property - away from the
  highway. It is also conveniently located to shopping and swimming at Lydgate
  State Park.
  The unit is nicely furnished and is complete with cooking and dining utencils.
  The ocean view is spectacular and the morning sunrises glorious.
  The pool area is clean and well maintained as is the bar-be=cues for cooking
  in the evenings.
  The only things that need improving is the outdoor patio furniture which is
  plastic and somewhat old. Also the couch in the unit is difficult to get out of.
  A higher backed chair would be a plus.
  Wouldn't trade our time at Kaha Lani for any other place on the Island.

  aloha! we are happy to report an update on Kaha Lani #114: we have remodeled the kitchen now with brand new cabinets, granite counter tops. Also remodeled bathroom w/walk in shower and granite counters as well. Patio table and chairs are also new made of non-rust aluminium and sunbrella fabric! :) Please come back & visit! It's gorgeous!!
