The Waipouli Beach Resort is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and activities. Rent some bikes and enjoy the East side's coastal bike path that begins not far from the resort for about 4 miles to the North. The resort is centrally located to all activities on the island making it convenient to travel to either side of the island in about an hours time. The resort is just 15 minutes to the Lihue Airport.

Reservations/Deposit/Payments:
A two night (non-refundable) deposit is required to make a reservation for a Rosewood Kauai vacation rental. The balance of the rental fee, plus the cleaning fee and taxes are due in full 30 days prior to check in. Rosewood Kauai accepts personal checks, cash or travelers checks. Credit cards are not accepted.
Taxes:
All rates are subject to a which total 13.25%. (4% Hawaii Excise Tax and 9.25% Hawaii transient accommodations tax).
Cancellation Policy:
The two night deposit required to reserve a Rosewood Kauai Vacation Rental is non-refundable should you need to cancel for any reason. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date will be refunded less the two-night deposit if we are able to re-book the accommodation.

Kapaa is extremely busy with bumper to bumper traffic, not condusive to a relaxing vacation. Our unit had comfortable beds but very uncomfortable living room furniture. Our view was of the parking lot and dumpster next door. We are spoiled and like either a garden or ocean front view. This unit is not our cup of tea. Don't know why this unit is listed as ocean front! You can see the ocean from one corner of the deck, but the parking lot is the main view. The swimming pool is really nice - loved the hot tubs and the pool slides. The service people were very nice and Rosewood vacation rentals is also very nice and accommodating.

One of our finest vacations-ever, the condo is spacious, the kitchen is fabulous and the location is superb. This was our 5th visit to Kauai so we knew what we wanted to do and where we wanted to be. The location is convenient to grocery shopping, other kinds of shopping and all of the attractions of the north or south parts of the island. We loved the quality of the beds and bedding. We could have used a small vacuum, mop and broom, but that was the only improvement I could suggest. We want to return as soon and as often as possible!

I know you can't help that it rained all the time. But - the promised wifi very very rarely worked. It was impossible to get the code for the pool or the gym to work. We had a lot of trouble with the door code at the start. And it was impossible to figure out who was the person to complain to.

I was very sorry to read your review. You were here during the worst weather the island has ever experienced. We had 48 inches of rain in 5 days ending with a hail storm ( the first ever). The WIFI in the unit has consistently worked for all of the guests ( it is provided by the resort). There were island wide outtages during your vacation due to the weather. I am unsure why the pool and fitness room code would not work since it is the same code at the unit. You do need to add the room and building number to the first part. The key system is not without it flaws and they are working on perfecting the electronic locks.
The couch cushions are 6 months old and we have never received a complaint since they were installed. In fact there are 25 positive reviews. Your comfort is our utmost concern and we will continue to strive for excellence which can only be done with feedback from the guests. Therefore, we take your comments as very constructive. You came all the way from France which must have been exhausting and then to get terrible weather would also upset me. Again our apologies

We previously stayed with Rosewood B&B;, so when we planned a return trip, I checked her site first and found this resort. It was a good compromise for my husband and myself--he likes fancy hotels and I like the convenience of a kitchen.
The condo itself was lovely--windward so we always had a nice breeze, view of the ocean past some other buildings, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, nice pots and pans to cook with on the stove, washer/dryer in the condo, cable, DVD player, wi-fi, right in front of the elevator but still very private and quiet, clean, and beautiful decorations. Rosewood even provided us with beach mats, high-chair, pack-n-play for our 11-mo old, and a foam pad for our 2-yr old. My sister-in-law arrived about 5 hours before we did, so Rosewood gave us permission for her to enter early.
We had some trouble getting into the condo with the door code, but it was quickly solved--Rosemary always answered the phone and returned messages quickly. She even mailed us our DVD that my son had lost somewhere in the condo.
The resort complex was lovely. The "lazy-river" pool was fun, as was the "beach" portion of the pool. The real beach was nice to walk down at sunset. We loved that it is located right across the street from a Safeway, Starbucks, etc. Very convenient location in relation to driving to the rest of the island.
One new thing Rosewood has added is a concierge service. My husband and I took a dinner cruise/sail up the Na Pali coast, and he and his sister went on a kayak trip up the Wailua River. We all had a marvelous time, and wouldn't have done these excursions had there been no concierge. She arranged everything over the phone for us (while we kept playing at the beach), sent confirmation emails, etc. She worked very hard for us, especially considering it was Christmas!
We love Kauai and love staying with Rosewood.

We arrived from the airport and found a very nice
condo. It was most comfortable. We enjoyed the pool one day as we were most of our time travelling around.
It is very well located and was most convenient for us.
Kauai is such a great place. -

Can absolutely recommend the condo. Rooms are large, well furnished. Great kitchen. And Kauai is a beautiful island. Recommend the beaches on the north shore for snorkeling - although it takes some driving.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo very much. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. The bed were comfortable and clean, and the pool is amazing (which is key when traveling with kids). The beach by the resort is beautiful but looked quite dangerous, but there was a baby beach within walking distance, as well as a safeway and health food store to buy all the amenities we needed. The only thing we had to buy was a cooler. I wish we had seen the extra sleeping mat in the closet earlier, our baby is a bed hog!
We never met Rosemary, but she responded very quickly by email. The condo uses a combo lock instead of a key, so we didn't have the hassle of pick up and drop off.
Rosemary was also very accommodating, we had a very late flight so she let us check out much later in the day. Little did we know that the flight would be cancelled and that we would be shuttled off to another place on the island that was no where near as comfortable or clean! I wish we could have stayed that extra night in the condo. -

This is a first class property, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms & gourmet kitchen. We enjoyed the adjacent beach as well as the gorgous pool. It was a favorite spot for my 11 year old grandson as well as for the adults. The property is walking distance to shopping and only minutes from the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

It was clean, well furnished. Great Kitchen and beds. Dvd=? Road noise a surprise esp on deck and with windows open, Was in need of minor repairs. we had a lot of rain that week, weather seemed better at Poipu where normally stay. Pools good but beach ? Staff only marginal.

Waipouli is a beautiful resort with great amenities. We especially enjoyed the pool area and its three hot tubs and barbecue grills. The C303 unit is beautiful and spacious with all high-end finishes. We ususally stay in Poipu but this location in Kapa'a is very convenient to the airport and an easy drive to the north shore as well as the south shore. There is plenty of free parking and easy beach access; and although it is not necessarily a swimming beach it is very pretty. I would definitely recommend this unit to a friend and will most likely stay here on our next visit.
