Rocky Mountain House, AlbertaHoliday happiness in Kauai!
Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012
This was a great condo for myself and my two children, aged 6 and 9, to stay in over Christmas. I had family members that stayed in other condos in the Lae Nani complex. The condo was very clean which made up for the slightly older interior design. I appreciated the key pad on the door handle rather than having to carry around a key! I also really appreciated the washer and dryer. The kitchen had all the necessities I could have wanted. The king size bed was so comfortable. I liked the murphy bed and it was comfortable as well. I would have appreciated a vacuum. I think some newer blinds in the living room would be nice--they are seem to be old. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Having access to 3 new Bbq's was great. The pool is nice, however the heater was broken while we were there and it was a little chilly! The complex is close to a few grocery stores. There is a Costco and Walmart about 15-20 minutes away. Garden Island Properties were extremely easy to deal with and when I had any questions, they were very quick to send me an answer. I would definitely stay in this condo again. We had a wonderful time in Kauai and came home with lifelong memories.

We recently had our second stay at this property. Loved it again. Perfect location. The decor feels a little dated and the condo is not "luxurious" but don't feel we need 5 star type stuff since we're not in Hawaii for the decor...
Kitchen is well stocked, you can see the ocean from the kitchen which is fantastic.Response from Garden Island Properties LLC - 10/24/2012

Mooresville, North CarolinaWonderful Place to Stay, Great Beach
Left on 09/18/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Lai Nani 215 was home to usfor 9 days. We enjoyed everything about it. Great convenience to Kapaa, and walking distance to Coconut Grove Market Place which has stores with convenience items and so many other things.
We loved having the convenience of washer/ dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal...and the BBQ area was a wonderful addition! Very nice cookouts in the evenings.
This room is by the pool and has a beautiful courtyard and amazing landscaping. The beach was the highlight of the place. A wonderful reef the kids could explore, waves to body board and even a small protected lava rock ring that kids could play in with out worry.
Overall a great choice for families.Response from Garden Island Properties LLC - 10/25/2012

San FranciscoThe perfect place for us!
Left on 08/08/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We had a great experience with staying at Lae Lani 215 from beginning to end. Booking it online and getting confirmation and directions through email, with a keypad code, was really easy (no having to go pickup or drop off keys). When we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised at how clean and nicely taken care of this unit was. It felt like we were staying in a nice hotel, and not someone's lived in home (you know that feeling?). The parking right outside the door was convenient, as was the outdoor lanai that goes right out to grass on the ground level. It was perfect for our 2 year old, we always felt safe leaving the door open and letting her wander out a bit, while we ate on the patio. The proximity of the pool was great (though I wish it had more of a kiddy pool for my daughter and a hot tub for me). The beach wasn't as nice or child friendly as I had hoped, so we didn't spend much time there. But, it was pretty to walk out in the morning and see the waves crashing so nearby. As for heat and comfort level, the ceiling fans did the job for us, it was never too hot or unbearable. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it easy for us to cook breakfast at home most mornings before heading out. As far as location, it was nice to be on the East Side, so that we could easily access both the great beaches in the West, South and North, and it was never more than a half hour away any direction. Oh, and having a washer/dryer in the unit that works well really helped us out. That was key. The murphy queen bed in the living room was also nice and comfortable. Overall, we were so pleased with our accommodation and would recommend it to anyone who isn't looking to stay in a deluxe resort and just wants to have clean and basic accommodations for a reasonable price.

Dawson Creek, BCLae Nani 215 awesome!
Left on 03/08/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We were lucky enough to be able to stay in Lae Nani 215 for one month in February 2012. It was easy to find and only 10 minutes from the airport. The instructions to enter were easy to follow and it was exactly like it was described. Sue was very helpful when we had any issues and they were resolved quickly. The washer and dryer is a nice touch. The kitchen is the only thing that might need an update. The appliances were new but the cupboards not so new. But that was minor. The bed was super comfy and there was lots of supplies when we arrived. We would definitely recommend this suite.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We would happily stay again. We had horrible weather the entire time except for one day however because of the amenities of the property, we were able to still relax and enjoy ourselves. We recieved 3 reverse 911 calls to warn about flash flooding! How crazy is that?! But we loved the unit and property and truly plan to return to the same place again. The location counldn't have been any better to everything!
Mahalo for having such a wonderful place where we could truly charge our batteries to return to real life.

WANice unit in a private garden setting.
Left on 05/11/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We enjoyed our stay at Lae Nani in unit #215. The unit was very nice and clean with a large semi-private lanai in a garden setting with beautiful flowers surrounding it. The unit is very close to the heated pool. The unit is advertised as having an ocean view but the ocean view is peek-a-boo at most.

Awesome location, heated pool. All facilities in the unit were outstanding, maintenance prompt. Everything, even a Bar-b-cue to cook with. Enjoyed the vegetation separating units for privacy. All correspondence was tops.
If you like the beach this is a good place -swimming at high tide, beautiful to walk on the paths along beach or to shops.
Thank you -

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful location. Close to beach and walking path along the water. Kitchen was perfect and allowed us to cook all our meals. Loved having two separate bathrooms! We plan on staying here again on our next vacation to Kauai.

We were pleasantly surprised that we got exactly what we saw online. One never knows when she can't see the property first but every thing about the process was good. The site had all the necessary information for us to make our decision, the owner was pleasant, helpful and responded quickly to our emails and calls, and the place was perfect for our honeymoon haven.

After hours upon hours of searching the internet I chose this rental for my husbands and I to spend our vacation. We both felt like it was the perfect place for us because of the location and the value. The entire process was handled on line and that was a bit different for us...really no check in with any person...just had a code emailed and in we went. All of the emails were answered in a timely manner except for one where I asked for an extra day because of a flight change - never did receive an answer to that one. The home was clean as can be with every imaginable cooking utensil and appliance. The bed was a huge treat as it along with the pillows, was so comfortable. I even fell in love with the spare blanket...cozy! The telephone landline served it purpose when it rang in the middle of our first night with a warning from the civil department of defense about flash flood warnings. :-). We did have internet access and that was useful and fantastic. The beach was sandy, swim-able and gorgeous. The condo's location on the ground floor was perfect...kinda tucked in to its own little private corner. The residents upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants, but the payoff of being ground floor was worth it to us.We would definitely return their again should we ever make it back to beautiful Kauai. Oh yes, one more fair warning...there is a rather large sand crab (the size of my hand) that seems to think 215 is it's home. Each morning at 5am (yes we are early risers) the crab would sit in wait on the door mat of the lanai ...scared the beans out of me when I almost stepped on him. Thankfully he scurried back to some bushes after a swat with a flip flop, but would come back every morning and scratch to get in. ooohhh creepy! All in all I can't say enough good about Lae Nani #215. Aaa+++
