Mill Creek, WAGreat Place to Stay in Kauai!!!
Left on 08/19/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We stayed in this unit during July and we were quite pleased with our stay. The condo is clean, spacious, boasted a great view of the pool and beaches. The large kitchen, washer and dryer, and a/C made our stay even more pleasant. We also enjoyed the pool with water slide, on-site eating, and the beautiful beach. Lynn was very helpful with booking and answering questions during our stay promptly. If you want a great place to stay on Kauai that is either a quick drive to either end of the island yet close to ammentities (i.e. Safeway, Starbucks, and local eateries) we highly recommend this gem! We'll be back for certain.

Colleyville, TXGreat Condo, Location and Owners
Left on 08/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We just got back from the Waipouli Resort from a week of vacation for my wife and I and our two daughters. We had an awesome time and the condo couldn't have been any nicer. It's better than the pics show and had everything you need plus extras like boogie boards, beach chairs and floats, etc. The location on the island is perfect as the primary things most people will want to do on the island are located between Hanalei and Po'ipu, so Kapaa is midway between those areas. Lots of great restaurants close by, Hukilau Lanai for dinner and Kountry Kitchen for breakfast were our favorites, both within about a mile north or south of the condos. The owner was very good to work with and quick to help with any questions we had. Thanks for sharing your great home with us and we hope to be back again someday soon!

Jaded New Yorker
Westchester County, NYBeautiful Condo, Beautifully Maintained Right in the Center of E
Left on 07/31/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My family of 5 stayed for a week in July 2012 -- condo is really comfortable-- especially liked the ability to have breakfast inside or out on the balcony while overlooking the pool and ocean.
The location was at the center of it all -- only about 15 minutes from the Lihue airport (very convenient when we landed at 8:30 at night and when we wanted to take a helicopter tour), about an hour from Waimea Canyon (Grand Canyon of Hawaii) and an hour from the far reaches of the north shore beaches -- also close access to numerous restaurants and across the street from a plaza with Safeway, Long's Drugs, Starbucks and the ubiquitous and handy Hawaii aBC store... Kitchen was really well equipped and the convenience of the washer/dryer was great as we went thru a lot of bathing suits and shorts each day. The grounds were meticulously maintained -- people always picking up trash and cleaning... the ability to get 6 fresh pool towels daily was great. Loved the 3 hot tubs with loose pea gravel "flooring". Even though it was July, the pool never got very crowded-- always a umbrella'd picnic table and chaises available and room in the pool and hot tubs. Lynn and Scott made sure everything was taken care of ahead of time (parking passes, door codes, etc) so it was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend.
Also highly recommend Wailua Kayaking (about 10 minutes away) for kayaking + hiking adventure -- so reasonably priced and so much fun -- does not require a lot of physical endurance...

Left on 05/18/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We spent plenty of time in the condo since we stayed during the record high rains they had in March! We were so happy we chose this condo! It's even more beautiful in person! Best place we have ever rented and our 4 year old keeps asking to go back so we can swim in the pool! Lots to do around the area! The supermaket across the street was a life saver! We didn't care for the resturant on site but loved the Bull Shed next door and the Brick oven pizza not to far down the road! Not much of a beach but the pool far made up for anything the beach was lacking! it was a great location between Poipu and Princeville! Captain andy's is a must for a curise to the Napali coast! All in all wonderful vacation despite the rain! Thanks Lynn, it was great working with you!

This property is well groomed, clean and absolutely gorgeous. Food at the Oasis restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The unit had a great view of the ocean as well as the pool area. The unit came equipped with everything you would need like beach chairs, coolers, beach mats, boogie boards and sand toys. The kitchen was stocked with accessories just like home. Beds were comfortable too.

Denver, COBeautiful Condo in a Great Location
Left on 02/20/2012 for a stay in February 2012
My wife and I spent 6 nights here along with another couple. The condo itself is spacious, beautiful, well equiped, and well located. The beds are very comfortable. The resort is the newest on the east coast. There is a nice ocean view from one of the decks, where we watched whales nearly daily.
The resort is built around a beautiful river pool, where we spent time nearly daily. The upside of the layout is the convenience; the downside is that it is a bit noisy at night (until about 10) with the balcony doors open. (We never used the air conditioning, but if you closed the doors and put on the air conditioning you could solve the noise problem.)
There is a small beach, which is not particularly attractive or swimable, so if you want beach time you have to go elsewhere. We really like Poipo Beach, which is about 30" away, but Lydgate Beach Park is only about 5" away and is especially good for children.
The resort is located right across the street from the Safeway, which is very convenient. There are also numerous restaurants within 10". Since the resort is located on the east coast, you can explore both the north and south in day trips. Nothing is more than an hour away. The downside of an east coast location is that there is often a lot of traffic in the immediate location.
There were lots of children and teens staying at the resort when we were there, which makes it particularly attractive to families.
One unusual nearby attraction is a 5 mile bike trail, which runs along the coast. Old clunker bikes are available for $10 for 2 bikes for 2 hours. We did it twice, but could easily have started every day with a bike ride.
The owners are very helpful and easy to work with. They were informative, flexible, honest, and responsive. We could not have asked for more.
We love Kauai's natural beauty and peacefulness and look forward to our next visit. We would love stay again in the same unit.

Lynn and Scott, thanks for renting us your unit B402, the location was perfect. We have stayed at the resort several times and your unit is the best in terms of view and furnishings. Also, as for the location of the resort itself, there is nothing better on the island, centrally located and easy access to everything. Looking forward to our return visit to the islands again soon. My husband and I absolutely loved the Waipouli Resort. This even # unit in Building B is a good location-great view of the pool and ocean! Very upscale and it's a top unit which has vaulted ceilings. Nice to have a full size fridge and kitchen with cooking amenities. Very spacious. Lynn was most helpful in answering questions and getting everything arranged timely. She is easily accessible and a great owner to work with. Thanks Lynn!

Thanks so much for the use of your beautiful condo. It was spacious, had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. The resort is well located for side trips on the island, and the pool and gardens are very well maintained and cleaned. This unit easily had one of the very best views in the entire resort, and Lynn was both a pleasure to deal with, and very helpful. Forget hotels - we plan to be back as soon as we can.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property - the condo is beautiful and has everything our family needed to make it a perfect vacation. Lynn made the arrangements easy to make and was very helpful with any questions. This was our second stay at Waipouli and we again found it to be a wonderful location to start and end our daily Kauai adventures. The resort and this condo really makes traveling with our children (5 & 8) easy and relaxing - we would not hesitate to recommend this resort and this condo to anyone who wants to explore Kauai.

Mahalo Lynn for the opportunity to spend our Kauai vacation in your lovely condo! It is spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable, so we slept well after our fun days out in the sun and the sand! Your kitchen had all the essentials that we needed to prepare and cook the many meals that we chose to have on the lanai! The view is wonderful, we were up early and enjoyed many sunrises over the ocean. We found the people who worked at the resort to be very pleasant and helpful. They keep the pool and all the gardens looking beautiful...daily! Some highlights for us, for this our second time, in Kauai: banana/macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup at Kountry Kitchen...Kalua Pork at The Tahitian grill...the waterslides...Teriyaki Burgers at Bubba's...the beach at Poipu...the Wed. Farmer's Market...the Coffee Plantation...the Hawaiian Monk Seal on the beach in front of the resort! Mahalo Lynn, and aloha!

Thanks so much for renting us your condo. You were always prompt with your responses to all our questions and the reservation process could not have been smoother. The unit was beautiful and had everything we could want. The view was just gorgeous and the location was perfect. There were many great restaurants to choose from and we loved the biking/walking path that was so close to the complex. Kauai is now my favorite Hawaiian island!

Left on 04/11/2011 for a stay in June 2010
First off, dealing with Lynn was fantastic. No surprises, just a fair/honest arrangement. As for the condo - what can I say - it was gorgeous. It's central location on the east shore was perfect for our family's needs and easily facilitated trips to both the North and South shores when needed. The resort is absolutely fantastic for younger kids. We spend hours.. no, days... bouncing between spas, rivers, waterfalls, and water slides ending our days with any of a number of conveniently located restaurants and even a few nights grilling up steaks or ahi on the Bbqs available for use. The kitchen was also fantastic and made for easy cooking when we weren't interested in going out. Again, Lynn was a pleasure to deal with as was staying in her and Scott's beautifully furnished/equipped condo and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastically relaxing stay on Kauai.

Seattle, WAAmazing Condo!
Left on 04/11/2011 for a stay in January 2010
Much of what we can say is redundant, as the overwhelming positive reviews are spot on. Perfect location, with easy access to North & South. We had a late night arrival, and the keypad on the door, and working with the owners couldn't be easier. Likewise, with an early morning flight, putting the dirty sheets & towels in the washing machine and heading out to the airport was a breeze. The resort is fantastic, with excellent facilities. The on-site restaurant is very good. It's tapas style, with small portions, but very good quality with mostly local, organic ingredients. The kitchen is very easy to cook in, with ample space for 2 people to both work on cooking at the same time. It's well stocked, as is the the entire condo, with extra towels, linens, blankets, pillows, guide books, a cooler, beach mats, and on and on. We look forward to staying again - no question it is the best place we've stayed in 12 trips to Hawaii.

SeattleFantastic family or couples vacation spot, great location.
Left on 04/07/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We've now stayed in this same unit twice and each time we appreciate it even more both for it's elegance and fantastic pool but also for it's location. We enjoy Kauai because of the lush tropical beauty of the east and north shore and the mellow pace. This unit is located perfectly to access the places we love best in Kauai. By staying here we're able to avoid a lot of uneccesary driving through the traffic jams of Lihue which was the problem when staying in the Poipu area. Want to visit some of the amazing local beach spots on the north side? Plenty of choices within 25 minutes without having to drive through Lihue. Interior hiking on the agenda? Take a left out of the parking lot and then follow the river road up into the mountains. Need the safest kid beach on the island? It's a five minute drive to Lydgate State Park. Want some casual, fun golf? 6 minutes to the driving range/municipal course that's really fun and has some signature holes. An expert golfer who demands more? Head to Princeville and let 'er rip (bring lots of balls and a big wallet). Kayaking and boat rides on the Wailua River are 5 minutes away. The Safeway grocery store is directly across the street as are a Starbucks, good dining choices, a drug store and rental shops. ( Even though all these choices are close by it doesn't tarnish the experience. When you're on the property it is private, secluded and comfortable.) For local color Old town Kapaa is a short bike ride away on the 5 mile long separated pathway that follows the beach.
After a day of exploring and enjoying the beauty of the island you get to come home to an elegant, quiet, and very inviting unit with one of the most amazing pools you'll ever enjoy. Top floor of building B is a good location, parking is right there, and the owners are easy to work with. Can't say enough about the whole experience. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
