This is a beautiful condo. It is decorated in good taste with Hawaiian art on the walls. Everything is clean and comfortable. The 1st floor is so nice because you can sit on your
lanai and then walk onto the soft grass to go to the pool or for a swim in the ocean. We enjoy the grills on the premises so we can cook our dinners. We like staying in this resort as it is convenient to everything. We have rented from this owner many times. He has always been pleasant and we never had a problem. I have always received my refund in a timely manner. I would recommend this condo to any of my friends. -

My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo for seven days! The condo was clean and modern-we really enjoyed the first floor location. The condo is tastefully decorated and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We absolutely loved the grounds of this property--large green lawn with a long oceanfront path we were able to take almost into town. It was quiet and serene which we especially enjoyed. Would definitely recommend to friends of family. Hopefully we will have no issues with the security deposit!

We were really happy with the Lae Nani, 317. Everything was as it should be. Beautiful grounds on the beach and a nice pool and killer view. My husband fished off the reef everyday. It was nice to be able to hang out and not feel like we had to go somewhere every day. The condo was comfy and clean. And the kitchen equipment was stocked enough to allow us to eat ' in' instead of ' out' .
The folks at the front desk were really nice and helpful.
I was a little nervous about the deposit refund, as there really isn't a condition that states when it is returned and there is not an inventory of items or existing damage in the condo. Kind of loosey goosey. I didn't want to be accused of theft or damage. But, it all worked out. It took about a month to get back our deposit. Which seemed a bit long. Also, the payment for the condo is non refundable. So, that made us a little nervous as well. We had to pay 2 months in advance, and one never knows what could go wrong and cause a cancellation of the trip. So, we opted for insurance. An expense we didn't need. But, over all we are happy we stayed at the Lae Nani, number 317. The condo is nicely decorated and comfortable. I would stay there again. -

We have stayed in Lae Nani #317 for 5 years in a row. We love the beautiful updated decor, lush tropical grounds, inviting swimming pool and gorgeous ocean view. It has everything to make it feel like home. The location is perfect for enjoying our favorite part of Kauai. There are many great restaurants and lots of great shopping as well. It is our prefered location when we travel to Kauai.

We've stayed at Lae Nani both times we've been to Kauai. Great views, wonderful landscaping, very nice pool. Everything is clean and maintained. The beach is small and a little rocky, but there is a protected swimming area. Nice cookout facilities, so we'd buy some fresh food, cookout, and watch the surf from the patio as night falls. Hard to beat, and a good value. Lae Nani is centrally located on the island, and convenient to stores (Walmart, Costco, and groceries) and convenient to events and places in Lihue. By the way: we had no problem with the security deposit--everything seemed fair to us.

Ray's condo is clean, modern, stocked with everything you need, and in a very nice facility. The lani looks out over to the ocean and provided us with a nice spot for dinner. The facility had a pool, a set of really nice common gas grills that we took advantage of, and a laundry facility. It was within a 5 min. drive of a couple grocery stores that allowed us to save some money and avoid going to restaurants with our three young, wild, picky children. Be aware that the laundry is coin operated so bring some quarters.
The condo itself was comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. Best of all it was nicely situated in a location on the east coast that put all the sites around the island within a reasonable drive. We could access the North Shore sites, Poipu to the south, and the Napali coast to the west all easily. -

Ray White the owner requested a $300 "refundable" security deposit (that he probably never planned to refund me) and full payment 2 months in advance (everywhere else I've been never requested full payment so long in advance ... only a deposit and full payment usually only upon arrival or departure).
I decided to trust Mr. White ... that was the worst mistake of my life.
The condo was very nice and we had a good time but I never saw my full "refundable" security deposit back.
I am 100% sure we did not break or stain anything in the condo. We left everything in a perfect condition. No matter what all he mailed me was a $100 check and a totally unreadable note (leaving me $200 short on my security deposit).
I was able to get a hold of him on the phone after being very persistent (because he initially kept hanging up on me). I was only trying to get an explanation for the holding of my $200 (because the note he mailed me was unreadable) but he kept getting mad at me for calling him and refused to gave me any kind of explanation. I believe that if he was in good faith he would have given me an explanation right away, or even better, in advance to warn me that he was keeping a portion of my deposit ... no!?!
After being again very persistent he finally accepted to explain me why he held my $200. He claimed that we scratched his glass kitchen table and stained one of his kitchen chair. Now I knew he was lying because we never ate at this table and always used the table outside the condo on the patio. I asked him if it was possible that the previous visitor did that and to send me a picture of the damages. Obviously he refused saying that it would not add anything to the discussion.
Meanwhile still no trace of my money unfortunately. :-(
I'll let you know if Ray White ever comes back to his senses and refunds me. Meanwhile I'll keep calling him everyday to try to get proofs of what he claims I have damaged.

This is the first issue we have ever had with our upscale condo, relating to security deposit It is too bad this peson will not recognize he damaged condo, including stain on dining room chair and scratch on the glass dining room table. I personally inpsected condo after they checked out, and found the damage. A small
$200 damge fee vs $300 deposit is quite fair and reasonable.
If somone damges property, they need to pay for it and this person refuses to admit the truth. They had 2 kids, which he never acknowledges. Things happen. All one has to do is then pay for the damages, and move on. Simple.
We treat all of our clients very fairly, welcome them, and do quite a bit of repeat business at lae nani #317. 1-bedroom/2-bath ground floor, renovated condo..with gorgoues views, steps to the water. We look forward welcoming all of our furure guests, and repeat clients.

This place is perfect! It has a nice little beach with a wadding area for small ones. The condo in located off the main street in a quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to Coconut Market and another small strip mall that has good places to eat.
The unit is clean and up to date. It has a laundry room close by and lots of parking. It is on the ground level so no climbing stairs. The kitchen has cooking and eating utensils.
We like that there are a lot of eating places around this area.
Ray is very easy to work with. -

CALae Nani #317 - Paradise!

My family has stayed in Lae Nani #317 twice in 2011! Once in May and again in October. We thoroughly enjoy our stay in Ray's unit. It is conveniently located to the secure parking, laundry room and steps from the heated pool and beach. The keiki pond in the ocean was perfect for our 2yr old. He loved wading in the water up to his chin!
#317 has all of the amenities that we wanted, was clean and felt like home. The added wireless and flat screen TV allowed for some R&R; after the sun went down.
Lae Nani is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants, Lydgate Park and an easy drive to the south or north sides of the island. The location made for easy day trips without having to spend too much time in the car.
Highly recommend and we'll be back soon! -

Our family of three stayed 2 weeks at this property in May of 2011.
We could not have been happier. The condo was spotless. This property has been remodeled and is furnished very nicely.
The grounds of the Lae Nani complex are very tropical and are kept up nicely.
Large pool and very nice BBQ area.
Tiki torches are lit at night for a true island feel.
You have a "true" beach view from the patio-which has very nice patio furniture.
Owner was very easy to work with.
The location of the condo is great for exploring all parts of the island - right in the middle of the island.
Great for couples and families!
