Our family of four stayed in this unit for spring break in March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit has an ocean-facing patio with a terrific view of the pool and the ocean. Easily slept all four and the beds were very comfortable. Plus there's two bathrooms to accommodate everyone easily. Since it's a ground-floor unit it's convenient to move luggage, etc. from the car and you can walk straight off the patio across the grass to the pool to swim or use one of the two Weber barbecues. The water at the beach adjacent to the property is a bit rough but there's a great park and beach at Lydgate Park just a few minutes walk where our girls could swim and boogie board. The kitchen had all the amenities you would expect and we cooked dinners most every night we were there. The stacked washer/dryer setup was a nice plus. And the wireless internet seemed solid and fast to us! All in all a great stay. Would definitely visit again.

Location of unit on property was great. Easy access to pool, beach and parking lot. Unit needs a few tweaks, mini blinds were old, plastic, dusty and rusty. Window screens didn't fit and let in mosquitoes by the score. Kitchen faucet broke, sprayed water all over the place but was fixed very fast. All in all, I would return in a heartbeat.

Stayed in this unit a few years back and it had serious shortcomings. That is no longer the case. The new owners have made it quite comfortable and we were quite pleased to find so many small, thoughtful additions that added to our experience. The unit is quite well equipped. We were surprised to find so many personal touches and many of the basic needs in terms of spices, utensils, etc. Beds were great, TV was great, pool access was great. Dishes, glassware, cooking utensils were great. Washer and dryer a definite plus. By the way, cleaning service deserves kudos for preparing unit.
As for negatives, the sliding door did not lock, although there is a bar to prevent unwanted entry. Also, the smoke detectors seemed non operational. One of the batteries was visible hanging out. The other never blinked. It's a little noisy in the bedrooms in the am, with traffic sounds. Roosters not much of a factor. The unit could use a full length mirror somewhere.
All in all, a fine unit, centrally located. One I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Nice unit, washer and dryer is a plus we used it a lot was noisy at first but got use to it. We could hear the people up above us walking and using the bathroom and shower annoying but got over it. I cooked just about everyday kitchen was well stocked but could use recyclable containers with lids and a nice knife set with a sharpener, and a mop. More towels at least matching towel set it just looks better when everything matches. Beach towel to heavy for washer. Need new window screens in bedrooms and blinds it was musty and old. Need sheet set for futon. Tv remote need better instructions, overall I like the ground unit instead of walking up and down. I would stay at Kaha Lani Resort #107 again and recommend it..

Great central location just south of Kapaa - close to airport/shopping. Quiet and isolated. Unit very nicely furnished and equipped (cookware, dishes, etc) and having washer/dryer was great! Could have used some more bath towels. Grounds are beautiful and we liked the lighting of the tiki torches at night around the pool. Wonderful sounds and view of the ocean. Campers are nearby since property is adjacent to state park - some noise from this. Also occupants above unit can be heard - not fun when there are running children. Also can hear cars from parking lot as bedrooms back up to this area - but also can hear wonderful tropical birds. Definitely recommend this property.

Great condo with all the fixin's. Kitchen knives not very sharp but other than that the kitchen had everything you need. Thought "town" would be walkable but it wasn't a big deal...just a few mintues by car. On the sunrise side of the island so kinda missed the sunsets but I did manage to get up for a beautiful sunrise.

Very nice condo with all the amenities. The washer/dryer combo. was an unexpected amenity that got lots of use. Being near the pool was nice although it was a little noisy at times. The nearby Beach Park which was approx. a mile long and was great for exercise walks/swimming etc.

We had a great time in Kaha Lani #107, especially the first week! Being on the first floor and having direct access to the garden is really nice when you have a little baby. He was able to go outside and play with all the birds and chickens that visited us on a daily basis. I must say my wife and I were not expecting roosters around the property and had a hard time the first night. However, we were quite lucky for the rest of our stay when they moved further away from the property. Anyway, I guess this is part of the beauty of Kauai. The location was perfect with the property so close to the children's beach and playground at the Lydgate park. Although we didn't go there too often it is a perfect place for kids. The condo is conveniently located and we were able to reach both the north and south shores within 1 h drive. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby that are worth the trip. My best picks are the art Cafe Hemingway in Kapaa', Hukilau Lanai in Kapaa', Hamura Saimin in Lihue and the Koloa Fish Market (although further away).
The apartment is very well accessorized with plenty of stuff in the kitchen, wifi Internet connection and the convenience of a washer and a dryer just for us. The beds were also very comfortable and the lanai has a great view of the pacific with spectacular sunrises.
Few things should be improved though: the windows and blinds that are in the bedrooms are old and should be replaced and the bathroom showers could need some update. Also, the apartment becomes quite noisy when 207 is occupied. We could hear people upstairs walking, showering or using the toilets. This was somewhat annoying, especially when it happened during the night.
Overall, I would still recommend staying in Kaha Lani #107 and would like to thank Sue and Greg for providing us with a good home away from home. Mahalo! Read more

This rental is new for us; so all furnishings are new! #107 is one of the few units with a washer/dryer which makes it very convenient! We are a family of 4 from Vancouver and just got home this morning from spending a week in this lovely condo. It was absolutely terrific and we would recommend it in a heartbeat. The furnishings were lovely, the beds were comfy and the lanai was perfect for every meal. We appreciated that many past guests had left things in the kitchen such as salad dressing, sugar, bags to carry groceries in and spices. We left stuff behind too. Before going we were worried that we would have to buy everything from dish soap to sugar to plastic wrap and salt and pepper so we were so pleasantly surprised to find that was already there. We also loved being close to so many things and found our way around from the condo so easily. The beach in Lydgate was wonderful for kids and the pool @ Kaha Lani with bbq's were so convenient---we used them often.
We appreciated how easily it was to find the complex in the dark as we had very good directions from Garden Island Properties and brought a small flashlight so we could see the lockbox the key was in. We spoke with Garden Island Properties a few times for advice and questions and they gave top-notch service.
Would absolutely go back here. Thank you to the owners for lending out their house. May we suggest a few things? Some steak knives and perhaps a standing fan for the master bedroom as even though we always had the overhead fan on, we were very hot at night and had trouble sleeping in the heat. Perhaps one more portable fan might be enough to take care of this!? Read more

Great condo!! We are a family of five, two adults, three kids. This condo was great for all of us. The pool is awesome, you are literally steps from a perfect beach with a river that flows in to it steps away. The kids could snorkel, catch waves, and I could play in a nice, calm, warm river and swim the day away. :) The condo itself is well stocked, very beautiful, beds are super comfy and since I cook everyday I found the kitchen supplies delightful. A perfect choice!!
