My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in this unit. The unit was clean and very well stocked with supplies. The view was awesome. We had dinner on the large lanai every night. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Great location, great property, great amenities. Management company was easy to reach and helpful.

United StatesWonderful condo, great location

Stayed 10 days and very satisfied. The unit is well appointed, clean and most important of all very private. We stayed in the same complex but facing the pool and right above the restaurant kitchen. It was very noisy and the smell from the restaurant unbearable.
One improvement could be to get better mattresses for the beds. -

United StatesA Wonderful Condo Resort Property
Left on 03/01/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We were so pleased when we first walked into the unit...clean, immaculate, and inviting. The suite is well appointed with great amenities and a gourmet kitchen that we utilized a good portion of our trip.
Of course going to Hawaii is not about sitting in your condo, but getting out and enjoying the surroundings. That starts first at the Oasis on the Beach - the resort bar and restaurant. Vanessa and Joel were amazing at the bar and the live music added to the evening.
We can't wait to get back! -

United Statesgreat rental including a big kitchen, living space and intimate
Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in November 2012
we stayed here on our honeymoon. we stayed in G301 which was an awesome room - 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, top-notch kitchen, balconies and great common area. The resort is great if you want something not too large (too many people), on the ocean, with pool/3 hot tubs, great restaurant, lots of places in walking distance (Papaya food market is like a whole foods and is 3 minutes across the street by foot).
a key here was that we rented through the guys at Kauai Exclusive Management. They are the agents for this unit and others at this property. they gave us a great price (for 5 nights) and when we had a minor problem they were on site and fixed it within the hour.
location is great in the middle of the island, everything you need is there (spa too) and with a sweet kitchen you can make your own meals (relaxing breakfast or grill dinner fish by the pool). -

There was only one negative thing. I had called regarding the stove top light not working and never got a response. This seems like a little thing but when you pay $550 plus a night, and a nice kitchen is a big part of that, you want all things to work. Blessings - Dean

United StatesFantastic unit - upscale, clean, private with great views
Left on 09/24/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Nothing but positives to say about this unit and the complex. G301 is on the far corner of the property and away from the pool and other buildings. Great open views to the ocean as well as privacy. Unit has all top-of-the-line finishes and appliances; really just a fantastic place to spend the week in Kauai. The location is great as it's 20 minutes to the North or South side plus there are lots of diverse restaurants nearby. Grocery and Starbucks right across the street - walking distance.

United StatesWaipouli G301

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, but prefer a resort with more dining options and room service. The room was beautiful, fully stocked with everything you could want. The jetted tubs didn't work, though. The beach area near the resort is not good for swimming and the best beaches are 45 minutes away. The onsite restaurant, Oasis, had terrible dinner service with tiny portions for the price. We tried lunch once at the Oasis, which was very good, and the bartender was great. The internet photos make the pool look amazing, but it was not very big. I would recommend this property to a friend with the caveat that it's not a full service rssort for those who prefer that environment.

United StatesLove the resort, didn't love the room
Left on 07/12/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We expected Oceanfront view and was over-sold the room's G301 location - apparently it is only "Oceanview". The interior was what we expected - extremely clean and high end amenities (although the master spa had water stain/rusted facuet and did NOT work). However the view was only partial from the lanai with most of it facing a parking lot. Both bedrooms looked out into a parking lot with a run down resort beyond. At night the individuals car alarm would beep as they enter and exit. Car alarms or a rooster would crow every hour or so making it difficult to sleep. (Chickens are a problem on the entire island.) To add to that the master bed did not have any support on one side but was slightly better on the other, with a firm lump inbetween - it was very uncomfortable.
We did enjoy the sound of the ocean from the living room which did face the ocean. With all the breeze, my husband didn't even need AC. We did enjoy the large lanai which allowed the entire family to have dinner outside (and my children to opportunity to talk to people in the parking lot below).
The resort amenities was wonderful. Our children went swimming almost every day and loved the waterslide. On certain days the children can feed the Koi. (Check with front desk as date and time varies). The Oasis grill also had good local food. (It is one of those high-end restuarant, smaller portions, slightly expensive, but tasty and great service. Since they are right next to the pool, happy hour beer for $3 was very welcomed.)
We love the resort and will go back again, but will not book with Kauai Exclusive as they are over-priced and did not provide what we expected in terms of room location. -

United StatesGreat Location, but ...
Left on 06/28/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This Penthouse missed the mark for us. Overall, a beauty of a resort, but this unit was not a "comfortable" living space. The layout is like a maze & awkward getting from room to room. The Master was the best room in the house with its own lanai. The living area was cramped for 1,500+ sq. ft. The sofa was hard and not deep enough to get comfortable. The light switches and bulbs were ridiculous. Couldn't see which worked what. The layout in the galley-type kitchen was inconvenient with no flow to it. The small appliances seemed to be very dated. The jets in the M.B. "spa" tub would not turn on. Sink space was cramped for 2 people. We had a choice of 3 showers, but no way to adjust the extremely wide spray. This Penthouse has seen a lot more "living" than expected. The beach was just steps away with beautiful sunrises, and the lanai was our favorite peaceful hangout space after a day of golf! A much needed respite from the pool scene, which was anything but that. Other reviews recommend the resort for people 55+. If you like screaming babies, "tweeners," and out-of-control older teens, this is the place for you!. We'll pass for the summer. The management company handled all questions in a prompt manner. The air conditioning requires every door to be shut tight and "magnetized" for it to turn on. See our review of Unit D402. Aloha, G301! Freshen up and get back to Penthouse status.

Me and my wife loved the condo and josh helped us thru all and any issues we had and gave us some great advise while we was in kauai...The only slight complaint is some stains on the mattress and pillows and some of the cleaning to the condo needs a little more attention but overall its just neatpicky for the price you cant beat the stay Thanks Josh and the kauai exclusive team....Mahalo
