This condo is located in Kapaa, which we think is ideal for access to all parts of the island. The condo slept 5 (my husband and I and our three shchool aged kids) with 1 bedroom and a living room with pullout. The kitchen was stalked with all basic needs, including a crock pot which we used!
The kids enjoyed the pools. Many times, they had the pool to themselves, which my kids tend to like.
For the price, it was definitely adequate. If you want entertainment and flash, this is not for you. But if you are content to use the condo as a base and come and go, I would definitely recommend. This condo allowed us to do Kauai on a budget!

Although the windward side of the island was cloudy & rainy while we were there, we had a great condo in a convenient location. It was close to the beach, the river, an oceanside walk, grocery stores & other island attractions. There was lots of space in the condo with very adequate facilities. It was also close to the laundry, the barbecue, the pool & hot tub. One of the nicest restaurants was just across the lane. It was close to the traffic but when we used the aC we didn't hear it. The concierge booked our helicopter ride for us at a good rate.

this rental was great. staff were excellent. Everything needed was there. beds were great. We will go back again. Only drawback was some traffic noise. Being and end condo is really important for the air flow thro the condo. We did not even need the airconditioner

The Plantation Hale is centrally located, next door to shopping, restauarants, activities and an easy walk to Kapa'a town.
I can't say enough about our unit E-12. We had everything we could need and more!
Fully stocked kitchen: coffee maker, microwave, full stove/oven, rice maker, pots and pans, cleaning supplies. Even a multitude of herbs and spices!! The knives were sharp, everthing was perfectly organized. All we needed was to get our food.
There were beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. Lots of towels, hairdryer, soap and an ironing board.
There are two Tv's: a nice flat screen in the living room and a selection of movies.
Cute lanai with tables and chairs.
There is an aC unit, but we just opened the sliding doors and it was lovely.
Nice clean coin laundry available and as we travel light it was nice to be able to wash clothes at a reasonable price.
There are several pools and hot tubs, the pools are not heated! Also the only negative: beware the chlorine level is high, it will take the color out of some swim clothes!! It did my one top. :-(
Easy walk to a kind of rocky beach, but good public beach access nearby.
Right next door to the Coconut marketplace, farmer's market bi-weekly and free hula shows.

wonderful condo had everything we needed.very clean and comfy. You can't beat the location , and the price. I would definately rent this condo again. Loved the hot tubs and the pools, and the ocean was right there.

What a great condo!! had everything we needed, and then some! The kitchen had everthing, really liked the slow cooker!! Comfy beds. beautiful ocean view. and the lanai is so big!! loved the dvd selection. amazing value for what you get! having the beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc, was so handy!! Sue at garden Island Properties is great, Thanks Sue!! Loved it so much I am coming back for my honeymoon!!
