This unique gentlemen's country estate is located in the hills above Kapaa, just minutes to several beautiful white sand beaches and a variety of many fine restaurants as well as shopping centers and boutiques. Blissful Waters is just 15 minutes from the Lihue airport and is centrally located on the East side of the Island. Reservations/Deposit/Payments:
A two night (non-refundable) deposit is required to make a reservation for a Rosewood Kauai vacation rental. The balance of the rental fee, plus the cleaning fee and taxes are due in full 30 days prior to check in. Rosewood Kauai accepts personal checks, cash or travelers checks. Credit cards are not accepted.
Taxes:
All rates are subject to a Hawaii Excise and Accommodations Tax which total 13.25%. (4% Hawaii Excise Tax and 9.25% Hawaii transient accommodations tax).
Cancellation Policy:
The two night deposit required to reserve a Rosewood Kauai Vacation Rental is non-refundable should you need to cancel for any reason. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date will be refunded less the two-night deposit if we are able to re-book the accommodation.

We stayed here the first week of January and it's lovely. The only downside is that it was windy, rainy, and cold most of the time so we didn't get to use the pool. It's also a bit more of a drive from town/beach (4 miles, but feels much longer on dark winding roads) than was good for our family. But if you like being out away from everyone, it's a lovely house and very comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen had everything you could need, etc. Big screen tv and huge comfy leather couches were a plus.

We had a wonderful mini vacation at blissful waters! Us and two other couples enjoyed our long thanksgiving weekend in Kauai. We usually stay at hotel but we decided to rent a home big enough to accommodate 8 of us with kids. Each bedroom was spacious and had beautiful views. The house was very clean upon arrival, I like the fact there were king beds in each room. We had a great time. Thank you Rosewood!

Aloha! First off, Kauai itself, was an amazing place, but "Blissful Waters" made the trip more exquisite! It was our second time being to Kauai and my step dad was friends with a local,(Rosemary's son) who recommend the place! We were just so astonished of how organized, clean, and comfortable the house was! We enjoyed the gift basket Rosemary left for us, too! Rosemary was very nice and friendly and so was her son and grandchildren! They all welcomed us to Hawaii and made us feel at home. We got to do fun things with Rosemary's grandchildren because my sister is a pen-pal with one of them. We got to experience wonderful things in Hawaii and we got to make new friends! The house was amazing and we even had friends over for a "luau." The pool was our favorite part besides the kitchen and living room! We swam in the pool almost everyday! We actually swam in the pool more than we did in the ocean! Rosemary's grandchildren came over a lot and we got play and swim in the pool together, we even had a little fun luau with each other! "Blissful Waters" has an amazing view of the ocean on one side and waterfalls on the other! We got to have a mix of sceneries. My favorite place to eat in Kauai was Ono's Shave Ice, The Lemongrass, & Puka-Dog. We went and had ice cream with Rosemary's grandchildren and we had the time of our lives just laughing! Kauai is so relaxing and "Blissful Waters" is on private land so we weren't always surround my tourists. Kauai is now our family vacation spot every year and we will definitely rent places with Rosemary, again! Mahalo to Rosemary and her family for making us feel welcome and having a good time! "Blissful Waters" is the place to rent on Kauai! Aloha!

Blissful Waters was amazing! We loved how much it felt like home. We stayed in that incredible house for at least 3 weeks and the service was very good. We loved how the pool woman was there at least twice to check up on the pool...we got to meet her puppy too, cutest thing ever! It was amazing for Bbq's because there was lots of space to dance and play! The rooms had fenominal light and color too. My pin-pal came over all the time and we would walk all over the roads and we would play hide-n-seek. We went night swimming too and it's amazing. There are these little plants by the pool and whenever you touch them they close and a little later they open up again. Also,we had a scavenger hunt too for my pin-pals birthday...girls against boys and it was lots of fun because there was sooo much room for playing. I've always loved the ride on the airplanes because the airport smells good and the air feels awesome when you arrive to Hawaii. This rental had great quality and the location was fabulous. The washing room was very good because the washing machine and dryer were newer and they worked well. The only thing I didn't like was the garage because it had a weird odor but that's the only thing that i didn't like. The island of Kauai was friendly and beautiful. We took fun adventures such as zip-lining,kayaking,boogie-boarding,and even a helicopter tour. There are tons of great things to do and so many gorgeous things to explore on the island. I hope we get to stay again someday. Aloha!

My Husband and I stayed in this home for two weeks. This home is located in a rural area, so it was very quite and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The home itself was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped with everything we needed. We decided to sleep in the quest room that over looks the pool and what a wonderful choice that was, the bed was sooo comfortable. The home has great airflow so we were always cool. We also ejoyed the welcome basket of goodies "What a treat". Rosemary the manager is very easy to deal with and very friendly. We also enjoyed talking with Carla the pool lady, what a friendly person. Hope we have the chance to stay here or next trip over.

Our stay last June included our extended family visiting Kauai for my sisters wedding.
The Blissful Waters property included everything our family needed for a wonderful stay. We were looking for a large property that could satisy everyone. The property is close to Kapaa where there are plenty of stores and shopping. I recommend stopping at Costco first to stock up as the local stores are more expensive. The house has plenty of space, a beautiful pool, updated furnishings and washer and dryer which our family really appreciated.

Aloha! My family recently stayed at Blissful Waters for a week. This was a multi-generational family vacation, and everyone was pleased with the property. My parents had not rented a home prior to this trip so were a bit leary, but my husband's and my experiences have been very positive with this method of vacationing. Everything was exactly as pictured on their website. Rosemary was very helpful in answering all of our questions -- both before our stay and during our stay. We were even allowed to have a late check-out as our flight did not leave the island until 10 p.m. This was a huge benefit as we could hang around the pool and relax instead of sitting in the airport. A previous review had mentioned problems with the pool -- we did not experience anything like that. We would definitely recommend this property to families or multiple couples.

Aloha Steve, Mahalo for your reply and I am glad you liked the house. Geckos/lizards are a real problem in the tropics along with their constant "poops" . In one hour it is impossible to not have an area littered with them. They are shy and eat the mosquitos so we choose to try and live with them in harmony. We are proud to manage " Blissful Waters". The home was very clean except for these droppings which can be a concern when you are not aware of the situation. If you read other reviews, many guests were very pleased with the home. The house is a little off the beaten path in Kapaa and longer to drive than expected but worth the effort. The house has fabulous view of the surrounding on a large estate. The private swimming pool is great for any family with kids. It is a nice place to relax and unwind. The host is very accommodating as we were allowed for a very late check out since our flight out is almost midnight.

We've stayed at Blissful Waters 2 years in a row so that should tell you something right away. The first year we did not arrive to the house until after dark so we couldn't really see where we going and my first thought was "what did I get myself into?" The house is located about 1/4 mile off the main road on a dirt road that appears to be going out into the middle of nowhere. You arrive at a small neighborhood 4-5 homes. Blissful Waters has a picture perfectly landscaped entrance way with mature palm trees leading up to the house. The house is plantation style, very cozy, with all the amenaties of home.
The real key to this home is the backyard which is a gateway to paradise lost. Aside from the small kidney shaped pool and grassy acre of gently sloping lawn leading to a thick growth of jungle foilage, you will find yourself mesmorized with the view that looks like a scene out of jurassaic park. From the sky to the jungle to the mountains, there is a picture perfect scene everywhere you look , 24-7.
The location, which seems a little off the beaten path at first, soon feels much closer to town and the beach than you originally imagined.
Kapaa, is in our opinion, a great location between the North shore and Lihue (which is where Costco and other main shopping is).
It's a perfect getaway for a romantic couple retreat or small family , and can handle up to 7-8 people if need be.
The only constructive comment I have is that the interior and furniture is ready for a little TLC - possibly already taken care of by the time you read this.
To sum it up, an awesome vacation spot. Stock up with plenty of food because and you may find yourself getting so relaxed, you may not want to leave the house. -

Blissful Waters was absolute Heaven. The property was spacious, very well equipped from beach/pool accessories including beach towels to a kitchen that had everything one could need. It was away from the crowd of tourists, nice quite family time. With 3 acres, pool area and four bedrooms plenty room for all. If you want to have the perfect vacation rental then this is the place. Aloha
