Unit D202 of Waipouli has a great view of the extensive pools on the property and the ocean beyond. Oasis on the Beach, the onsite restaurant featuring natural, locally grown dishes is wonderful. The pools make this perfect for families, but there is a designated adult hot tub too. The appliances and cabinetry in the unit are very upscale and the furnishings are comfortable. This is our 5th visit to Kauai and we like the Kapaa location for its central location - easy drive to Princeville or Poipu. Safeway, Longs Drug, and Starbucks are right across the street which makes stocking the unit so convenient. We highly recommend Waipouli Resort and unit D202.

The only issue I had was I thought it had a better "ocean view", per the pictures, and when I zoomed in my camera I saw the same thing as on their website. More of an "ocean glimpse". The rest of it was nice. This was more my fault for not asking enough questions then it was there's. The property management, went out of their way to accommodate my arrival and departure timing.

Rooms were very clean with updated furniture and appliances. Quiet place to vacation, never heard anyone when our doors were shut. The only difficulty we had was crossing the street. Busy intersection at condos and lights take for ever to change. We are planning another vacation here next year. Our friends stayed in this exact condo 2 years ago and we referred our family members to stay here and they too were very pleased.

My wife and I stayed at D202 for a week in March 2013. The property and condo were top notch and I would not hesitate to recommend it. It was nicely furnished and equipped with all that was needed for our stay.
Don't miss the ice cream shop across the street. -

View of ocean is mostly blocked by the pool and gardens but the overall development is excellent. Poor communication between the listing agent and the on site property management put a damper on an otherwise great visit.

D202 was immaculate when we arrived. Thanks for the wonderful stay. No problems at all with the property. I got an answering machine only often when calling the office. (Also, I would recommend supplying liquid, instead of cube detergent for the dishwasher, as per the manual.) No real problems at all! Beautiful place!

This place was such a delight. It was fully equiped with beautiful appliances and two televisions. There was a nice view of pool gardens and some ocean. Loved the quiet building and ease of parking. Had free internet. The location is perfect especially if you want to explore the North and South shores as it is pretty much in between. The nearby town of Kapaa is charming. Proximity to grocery pharmacy and Starbucks was great. We will definitely come back and the price was very reasonable.

This was our 7th vacation in Kauai. This property is fantastic. What we found this year is that there many more vacationers. This unit overlooks the pool and is on the second floor. In the past we have been the only people in the pool on many occasions. This time it was very crowed, and a much younger group, and lots of toddlers and teenagers. They were very noisy up to the pool closing hour. We will still go back next year but may check into a unit further from the pool.

Modern and upscale unit with a great view in a very convenient location in Kapaa. We enjoyed all of the amenities including a Sub Zero Refrigerator in the gourmet kitchen. We would look forward to staying at D 202 in the future. Because of its location, staying in Kapaa was very convenient with all our travels around the island and not too far from the airport. I also enjoyed having Safeway, Longs and Starbucks right across the street!

Each year my daughter and grandchildren fly in for a week of sun and fun. The Waipouli Resort was definitely a hit with them and Hawaii Life Real Estate Services made the booking experience a breeze. When the kids were leaving they gave Grandpa and Grandma a big hug and kiss and then they begged us to let them come back to Waipouli Resort next year. Mahalo to all and aloha!

The location and condition of the condo were spectactular- it was a short drive north and a short drive south with plenty of restaurants only minutes away. The condo itself was beautiful, furnished well and had everything we needed. The only downside was how many children were at the pools. There are signs for the hot tubs saying no kids under a certain age, yet there were kids as young as 4 with floaties on trying to swim around the hot tub while we relaxed. The restaurant on site is excellent.

We had a wonderful time. This resort is in a great location, and a wonderful view of the ocean. We stayed there last year, and had to come back again. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The condo was beautiful, clean, and had all that you would need to be at home.

Waipouli D 202 was an excellent choice, regarding location, amenities, pool, beach, etc. The condo itself exceeded our expectation in quality and style! And we're not ones to dole out 5-star compliments. We highly recommend this condo and resort! The pool was a blast! The beach in front of the condo had a kind of "kiddie pool" itself with the natural breakwater. We even had the surprise of finding a monk seal on the beach one morning. We made liberal use of the lobby since our 2-yr old was awake before dawn, kicking a ball around and throwing a frisbee. The koi pond was a pretty bonus, and the restaurant was afforable and tasty! We're looking forward to a return trip later this year, hopefully!

Wonderful property and close to Safeway and Starbucks. Cryus was great is planning our activities. We would give him a 10+++. Next time were come to Kauai we will stay at Waipouli again.

We had a great experience with the unit D202; however we were very disappointed with the rental staff as they did not follow up with the welcome email we received prior to our stay. We had to call several time to reach our contact, our entry code did not work when we got there. We also were told that a representative will meet us there and the contact person was hard to reach.
