New private 5 bedrooms, 4 bath Kapoho Bay View Home a beach house within 350 feet of the warm Champagne Pond and the ocean-fed and filtered Kapoho Tide pools in Pahoa Hawaii. The warm Ocean is just a quick walk away from the home where you can: Kayak, Surf, Fish, Snorkel, & Dive.

Kapoho tide pools are homes to many different types of fish, turtles, and multicolored coral beds. In Kapoho, there are crystal clear water and calm surf conditions, which are wonderful for children. Regardless of the ocean conditions, the tidal pools are protected from the surf & allows easy entry into and out of the water.

Once your out in the Kapoho Bay there is an opportunity to explore larger sea life, paddle out to the reef & surf or kayak the incoming waves, and there are lots of space to do some windsurfing!

Multi-level lanais overlook the warm ponds and Pacific ocean. New and beautifully furnished, the by owner rental features a comfortable living room, kitchen and 5 bedrooms; A Pack-n-Play is available upon request.

Third Level Master Suite: Offers Dynamic 270 sweeping view of the Ocean, Full Bath with Jacuzzi Bath-Tub, Large walk-in closet, 10' wide windows and 14 X 20 covered Lanai to enjoy the ocean and sunset colors. Flat screen TV, Satellite TV, DSL and entertainment area in Master Suite.

Middle Level: Ocean View Master Bedroom has Queen Size bed and the other bedroom has queen size bed, 2 full baths, spacious full size kitchen with Island, dining area, sky lights, Laundry Facility, Large Deck with BBQ while enjoying the Ocean, Flat Screen TVs , DSL and large decks for entertaining.

Lower Level: 2 Bedroom has queen beds, Laundry Area, Garage/Game Room, TV.

This home is a unique property and has additional contract terms regarding the layout of the property, Cancellations and events. Please be sure to read all contract terms at time of booking.

Kapoho Bay View vacation rental includes offers sweeping ocean views from Decks and Master Suite, a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, Granite island with sink, Granite breakfast bar, a full sized refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, gas barbecue grill, toaster, blender, rice cooker and all the gadgets for preparing and serving meals at home.

Kapoho located just 8 miles from Pahoa where guests can buy supplies in a choice of grocery, fun shops, including art and collectibles. This quiet local town, reminiscent of 'old Hawaii' features a farmer's market where visitors will enjoy sampling Hawaii's exotic fruits, flowers, specialty foods, jewelry, island-made clothing and traditional Hawaiian crafts.

Kapoho is 30 miles south East of Hawaii's capital city of Hilo the largest settlement on the Big Island and the home of the Hilo International Airport.

Mauna Kea Observatory, National Volcano National Park, Akaka Falls, Warm Ponds, Active Volcanoes 1/2 hour drive.

Lounging in the warm Geo thermally heated springs is a popular pastime in Kapoho. One of the famous Ponds called Champagne Pond in Kapoho, which can be accessed and enjoyed from our property. You will be able to snorkel and see tropical fish and Sea Turtles. For a day trip, head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Take a peak at an explosion captured on film in the Kilauea Visitor's Center. Head down the Chain of Craters Road and look for flowing lava. and explore the Thurston Lava Tube, the fern forests, and the other natural phenomena of the area. About One Hour Drive. Lava Tree State Park: Restaurants and Super Market in Pahoa Town 10 min Drive from the Home. Area attractions include, swimming, scuba diving, spelunking, fishing, restaurants, reefs, surfing, snorkeling. National Volcanoes Park is about 1 hour away. Akaka Falls 40 min Drive. Lava Flow watching 30 min. Steam Venting Natural Sauna 15 min Drive. Tide Pools and Best Coral viewing by snorkeling 5 min Drive in Vacationland

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is about an hour's drive from Kapoho. Nearby, guests enjoy exploring the Lava Tree State Park and Ahalanui County Park's naturally heated swimming pools, Kapoho's exquisite coral gardens, the Keaau orchid growing area, and many more local attractions and interest.

Please note that there is no inside access from 2nd level to first level, use the outside entry stairs. There is inside stairs to access 3rd level. Due to capacity limitations of septic system and/or cesspools at our vacation rentals, please note that you may NOT have any extra Guests during the Day Hours at our rentals, you may be liable for additional charge. If you anticipate more guests please consider renting more than one rental in the area.

  Great home with lots of space for a family or group of travelers. Fun to snorkel at the Champagne Pond and other ponds. We also enjoyed the many waterfalls and the Bontanical Garden north of Hilo. And, of course the Volcano National Park. We really enjoyed all the foliage although all the rain and wind were more than we expected. Just be prepared for dramatic changes in the weather.

  The place is a wonderful site for family visits. My children who are 6 years old twins and cannot really swim yet enjoyed the champaigne pool immensely because it is so quiet that they can just float with their snorkle gears. I saw a turtle which was a real treat. The place is quiet with a gorgeous view. We also met owners of the property and they were really nice. I recommend this place to anybody who would like a quiet get-away.
  The only drawback is that it is too far away from anything. The restaurants nearby were not exactly star-rated, and we decided to cook for ourselves on most days, which is nice as well, dining out on the porch with nice breeze. But it does take time to go shopping for food and I recommend that you finish all your food shopping before going there.
  Otherwise, it is a great escape from the hectic life.

  Everything was exactly as shown in photos and it was truly a lovely place to stay. Top floor is master suite with views all around. What a good choice we made! Easy walking distance to Champaigne Pond, 3/4 mile from Wai Opae marine preserve tide pools (which is best snorkeling this side of the island). No surprises at this house and we were 100% pleased. Much nicer and newer than where we stayed nearer Wai Opae tide pool area before and it cost less, too! Maybe owners have figured out that they are rented all the time if the rate is reasonable and the place is extra clean. I would absolutely stay here again. Close enough to hear the waves but not a direct beach view. But it didn't matter. It was well stocked with kitchen items (pots, pans, dishes, etc) and appliances were all new. Furnishings were nice, windows were clean (windows everywhere!) I highly recommend this place if clean is important!

  Beautiful house, great views! We couldnt get enough of the sun rises, they were different every day!
  Kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds. Easy walking distance to Champagne Pond and the Ocean. Quiet gated community, highly recommend!
