Beach Vacation Townhome Near Disney Aulani

This is a new listing and therefore doesn't have any reviews yet. It was a vacation rental a few years ago and we had many happy guests.

Welcome to paradise! Ko Olina is Oahu’s newest planned beach community resort on the west shore of Oahu away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Located 25 minutes from Honolulu International Airport, the resort is the ideal destination to escape from civilization. The beach townhouse is only a 10-minute walk from the new Disney Aulani resort and the lagoons where you can spend a day swimming and snorkeling. The lagoons are quintessential Conde Nast from where you can watch the spectacular sunsets....

After a day at the beach, relax at the world famous Roy’s restaurant with outdoor bar overlooking the golf course. The restaurant and golf shop are a 3-minute stroll away from our condo.

For family oriented restaurants, there's the new Monkey Pod Kitchen with dozens of beer varieties on tap, the popular Roy's Restaurant, several dining choices at the Disney Aulani, an outdoor restaurant at the Marriot at lagoon 3, the restaurants at Ihilani Hotel at lagoon 1, and several other restaurants at Ko Olina Station. There’s Island Country Market at Ko Olina Station and a convenience store at lagoon 4

And of course the famous Aulani Disney Resort and Spa which is said to have been inspired by the wonders and traditions of Hawai'i.

The Paradise Cove Luau is also on the resort and is an entertaining experience that every visitor can enjoy.

Ocean activities, including chartered yachts and scuba are available at the local marina at lagoon 4.

If you want to drive for 10 minutes, you can go to Kapolei, where there are several fast food restaurants, movie theater, Costco, Walmart, Safeway, Target,gas stations, medical clinic, etc.

The Beach Townhouse

The beach villa is located at Ko Olina Golf Estates at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is a 2 bedroom unit with 2 full bathrooms, a large living room with adjoining dining area and a fully equipped kitchen – built in microwave, electric range/oven, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher and disposal. There are plates, cups, glasses and utensils for 8 people. The furniture is a tropical theme with a Montego Bay sofa and rocker recliner. The TV has a DVD player.

The unit sleeps 6 people in three beds and 1 person can sleep on the sofa (it’s wide and comfortable). If needed, an airbed can accommodate kids on the living room floor.

There is a queen sized bed in the master bedroom. There is a walk-in closet and standard closet in the master bedroom along with a double sink bathroom.

There are 2 full sized beds in the second bedroom with adjacent bathroom.

The villa has central air conditioning, ceiling fans and has a washer/dryer. It also has a patio set at the lanai.

The pool and cabanas are a 2-minute stroll down the path behind the unit. BBQ grills are stationed in each cabana.Read more

Explore Oahu
North Shore
Ko Olina is your homebase to explore the rest of Oahu. Make the 30 minute drive to the north shore and watch world class surfers carve the waves at The Pipeline. Or take a hike and explore Waimea Park where you will be rewarded by a waterfall at the end of the trail. On your way to the north shore, stop at the Dole Visitor Center. On your way back, you have to try the world famous Matsumoto’s shaved ice.

Pearl Harbor
If history is your fancy, a visit to the Arizona Memorial is a must. While there, you can also visit the USS Missouri. Expect long lines, however.

Aloha Stadium Flea Market
For your bargain hunting of obligatory gifts to take back to relatives, the flea market is a must. For $20, you can walk away with 8 local T-shirts. There’s no shortage of island trinkets, beach towels, beach bags, etc.

Hanauma Bay Beach Park
This used to be my favorite snorkeling beach, but it has been over-commercialized and is over crowded. You must arrive before 8AM as they limit the number of cars and entry will be denied. Unfortunately, feeding the fish is no longer allowed.

  I can't express in words how wonderful our experience was in Hawaii. The Kolina area where the condo is located wis top grade. The golf course is super nice and the restaurant there is has a just right menu. From the condo you can take a pleasant walk to the world famous 4 bay beaches (which takes about 7 minutes) in back of the Disney aulani Hotel and the Marriott Hotel (which has a killer breakfast bufffet open to the public)
  The condo was just right! With a one car garage and on the bottom level the access in and out was very convenient. the furnishings are modest yet had a comfortable homey feel. You are able to walk out the sliding door and either sit on the porch feel the nice breeze or walk up to the pool which was the perfect distance away as not to hear people playing in the pool. The pool was nice. With a giant jacuzzi hot tub and the pool to cool of made a nice way to cap a day off. There are several cabana areas with a table to sit and a propane grill to cook on, very comfortable setting. Every time we went to the pool there was always an available cabana. The landlords were so willing to accomodate us and they really take care of the place. The condo is in a culdesac and that just put the frosting on the cake. I will definately rent this condo again.

  We have been Marriott Vacation Club owners for 22 years. This was our first visit to Ko Olina. It is the "Best of the Best". It is well worth the long flight from Virginia. The resort has everything you could want for a great vacation. The weather was perfect, 80 degrees every day. The Ko Olina Golf Resort was also wonderful. One of the feature that sets this resort apart from others is that it has two great restaurants on site. The villa was perfect with a great view of the ocean. It is also close enough to Honolulu to enjoy anything you want to do there, but without the crowds. I will definitely pay a return visit.
