Just 50-55 kms from chandigarh, midway to Shimla, hardly an hour's drive from Chandigarh to reach this beautiful cottage at Barog in Shimla Hills. It is exactly 2 kms from the market of Kumarhatti, on a quite & peaceful road, sorrounded by the lush green pine trees. It is on the hill side giving an un-obstructive view of a gorgeous valley with world famous track of toy train passing thru it which makes one jump with joy like a child with the sound of whistle & view of every passing train. On the oposite hill is the famous Dagshai Cantt. & Army School & on the right side one will can see the Kasauli Hills. If guests want to visit the near-by p...laces, then it acts as an ideal base camp for Shimla (45 kms), Chail (50 kms), Kasauli (15 kms), Solan(12 kms) etc.

The backdoor of the cottage opens on a beautiful hill with a lovely gradual ascent, if one loves tracking then they won't ask for more. There are 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a spacious open-air kitchen with a cozy dining area & a drawing room. There are 3 balconies, one with the drawing room, big enough to have a small party or bonfire & the second one is with the master bedroom & the 3rd one is near dining area. All the balconies & windows open to the splendid valley.

All the batrooms are fitted with geysers. Two extra mattresses are available. There is a separate toilet-bath for servant/driver (no geyser in it). It is a well furnished cottage with well equipped kitchen. The services of a cook & cleaner is there on a payment of Rs.200/-per day.
