Chester, United KingdomHighly recommended. Excellent location, great studio.
Left on 12/12/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Stayed in Studio apt. 4 for four weeks and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Fabulous accommodation for a long stay to escape the British winter!
Studio 4 is one of six studio apartments within a two storey building adjacent to a small private pool. It is the best studio as it is at first floor level and catches early morning sun despite being amongst very tall trees. Not ideal for anyone with walking disabilities because lots of steps to climb from car park entrance.
Owners have added numerous decorative ornaments to make it feel homely. Open plan 'L shaped' space for lounge and bedroom. 2 Tv's, lamps and ceiling spotlights. Small kitchen area with adequate equipment. Fantastic 'vaulted' ceiling lit by spotlights. Lovely surprise!
Rental costs included provision of bathrobes, tissues, toilet paper, beach towels and two small bottles of water every day. Also, small 'welcome' bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Didn't expect any of this so added bonus.
All day breakfast included in price provided in the lovely Bella Vista restaurant. No pressure to get to breakfast 'on time'. Time is of your choosing. Not 'buffet style' but served to your individual order by friendly attentive staff. Enough choice to vary, if desired.
Studio 4 is in a great location, very private and peaceful but within 5 mins walk of restaurants, shops, supermarket, massage places.
Highly recommended. -

Left on 04/05/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We stayed at a most delightful studio apt (#6) at Villa Elizabeth in March for 4 days. The views were spectacular, the apartment was airy, spacious, extremely well lit and very tastefully decorated. They had car parking (we had a rental car).
The balcony was perfect for our morning cup of tea. The air every morning was heavy with the intoxicating fragrance of the 'madhumalati' blooms next door. You could see the sea in the distance, blue and inviting. They have a small pool but we did not use it. There is a small kitchenette equipped with some basic utensils and cutlery etc. The apt gets serviced every day. They provide separate beach towels. A walk down some steps from the restaurant puts you on the south end of Kata Beach. You can just drop your towels on the rocks and start swimming. The first day the sea was rough, which unfortunately brought in a load of trash on the beach.
The place has a few restaurants quite close by. Two Chefs @ Kata, Mon Tris Kitchen and Mali were our favorite.
A few drawbacks -- The studio does not have a phone connection to the reception. So if you have any queries or need something you have to trek down to the reception.
The temperature of hot water in the shower was not consistent, it either got too hot or too cold. We also lost water to all taps on 2 occasions.
They served an all day breakfast which is convenient for many. But because it is catered, the variety is limited. 4 days of the same breakfast gets too predictable on a vacation.
But all in all, a definite must visit again place!! -

DenmarkA perfect home away from home
Left on 11/19/2010 for a stay in October 2010
To write a thorough review of this place would take up too much space, so I will try to keep it short:
We arrived at Villa Elisabeth at 4 am and knew we were in for a long wait before we could get our room. But much to our surprise the Villa Director came in person to greet us. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked, so we could not get a room until the other guests left. But everything was done by the fantastic staff to make the wait as comfortable as possible.
We were originally booked for one of the ground apartments, but when we saw the place we asked to be upgraded, and so we ended up in apartment 4. And what a great apartment. We could not believe our luck. The view is fantastic, and the apartment itself is spacious and fitted with just about everything you can possibly wish for.
The hotel is small, just 14 rooms/apartments. This and the friendly and helpful staff made us feel really welcome and "at home". Add to that the fantastic location at and above Kata Beach with private stairs leading down to the beach, the Bella Vista restaurant which we consider to be one of the best in Kata (and that is saying a lot).
Just one word of advice: If you have any difficulties negotiating stairs the apartment is probably not for you, as the stairs leading up to it are fairly steep with high steps. -

Left on 05/13/2010 for a stay in February 2010
Studio 4, Villa Elisabeth was a dream come true.
After traveling for approx. 30 hours to reach our
honeymoon destination, Eckard and I finally walked
into Studio apartment no. 4. We could not have seen
a more beautiful sight at that moment. This
apartment exceeded all expectations. It was more
spacious than we imagined possible, immaculately
clean, and beautifully decorated 'Thai style'. We
immediately felt like we were 'home'.
Not only were we blown away with this apartment,
but with the whole villa too. From the moment we
arrived, we were greeted with smiles and friendly
faces. The staff were so helpful and were always
around to make sure our stay was as comfortable and
enjoyable as possible. The villa's location is
something we thought only existed in the movies,
just a few steps away from one of the most
beautiful beaches in Phuket (Kata). With a
beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees and a
spacious deck over looking the ocean and the beach
below, what more could a honeymoon couple as for.
After arriving at our apartment in Villa Elisabeth,
we knew that this would be a honeymoon we would
never forget. We never ventured far from the
Villa, as it had everything we needed. Thank you
Ron and Norah, for what was honestly the best two
weeks of our lives! It truly was the perfect place
to start our lives together!

My Husband and I cant wait to get back!! This beautiful, well decorated
comfortable apt is a must stay! You will want more than a few days, I highly
recommend staying.
This place is gorgeous:
New, clean, thai decor, amazing location above the sea, great deck, kitchen,
peaceful and a great pool just steps away as well as the beach with perfect
swimming and snorkeling to list some of the amenities.
The location, beach and beauty is like no other.
Breakfast on the deck above the sea will melt away any stress.. no need to go
anywhere else, unless you choose. The food on location is fantastic..! We
enjoyed breakfast every morning at our favorite table. Dinners were a
delightful gourmet experience. You are centrally located for Thailand's great
touring. ENJOY -

Cape TownPerfect stay
Left on 05/07/2010 for a stay in June 2009
Was in Thailand for a conference last year and as I
had a week to myself, I booked a trip to Phuket.
It being June I was expecting a bit of rain - in
total there was cloud and light rain for about 2
days, the rain was very light and lasted a few
minutes. Mostly very sunny, which is not quite the
norm at that time of year.
Here I am writing a review for the apartment I
stayed at, and I'm all about the weather. A friend
of mine suggested that I should stay at Hotel Villa
Elisabeth, specifically apartment 4 - he showed me
some pictures on the web, but I must say, the real
thing was so much better! Close to the beach and
very modern - much better than my expectation!
Highly reccommend and would definitely return if I
ever go to Phuket again. -

Left on 05/07/2010 for a stay in October 2009
We stayed at Studio Apartment 4, Hotel Villa
Elisabeth for 2 weeks in October 2009. My partner
and I took some time out and found the property on
the internet via the website - www.phuket-
studio.com.
Even before we arrived we were impressed with the
incredibly easy booking and communication structure
- user-friendly and professional.
The service of the office staff was great. They
were polite and helpful. The apartment was well
kept and clean and overall served all our needs.
On the website it states the following: "This self-
catering Studio Apartment has a feeling of class
and elegance. Perfect for those that prefer a quiet
getaway in peaceful and elegant surroundings, but
enjoy having all the amenities of a luxury hotel at
hand." - I can not put it in better words myself as
that was what we were looking for and experienced
first hand.
Would I visit Phuket again and stay at this
apartment - MOST DEFINITELY!
I can recommend anyone to book with confidence. -
