Lavender Majestic, our premium 1890 sandstone property with modern luxuries to enjoy, is located in Katoomba within level walking distance to the restaurants, cafes and boutiques. This stunning home was built originally as a holiday house for the wealthy Foy family who also built the Hydro Majestic, hence her name. The greatest benefit of Lavender Majestic is that someone is employed to make this gorgeous house clean, warm and cosy during your stay. The person making our stay such a treat is called Helen. Helen had the fires burning, the kettle boiling and the champagne cold in time for our arrival. She also cleaned up after us, made our beds, prepared the table for meals, cooked a lovely break fast and went and picked up take away. She was also guided by her guests. She was unobtrusive but when she could see we wanted to include her was also lovely company. The massage was also superb; the house is so warm and cosy and lends itself to everyone getting together but also going off for quiet moments in smaller groups. This place is like heaven for a group of busy working Mums like us who are in need of a girls week end away to rejuvenate.

Lavender Majestic was a total luxurious, pampered weekend - if you don't want to lift a finger and feel like a princess then this is the place to stay. The hostess was the most wonderful, warm and welcoming person anyone could wish for. The house was of sheer elegance but had a very homely welcoming way about it.
