Nestled on five beautifully landscaped acres at the edge of a secluded bay, Wavecrest Resort's private park with mature tropical landscaping is a delight to the senses. Trade winds blow through the palm fronds. Exotic birds serenade. A grass carpet surrounds the perfumed and multi-colored flowers and foliage. The glistening of sunshine on clear, turquoise, silken waves, and the gentle lapping of waves on the shore present a sensuous feast which is both stimulating and soothing. As you relax on the bench at the water's edge, you can see Maui, Oahu, and Lanai. You may also see whales broaching and fisherman out for the daily catch. Wavecrest Resort is 13 miles east of Kaunakakai (the main city) on the east end of the island of Molokai. Built on 5 acres of landscaped oceanfront property next to a river, Wavecrest fronts the Molokai Reef. The resort features one and two bedroom vacation rental condos, a swimming pool, poolside cabana, tennis and shuffleboard courts, barbecue grills, and on-site store. Off the beaten path, Wavecrest is about 3 miles from a grocery store and lunch counter. Forget about nightlife, Wavecrest Resort is for relaxing.
