“This beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home is brand new. Granite counters and teak cabinets and an open layout make it a retreat to rest after a long day sightseeing. The backyard is surrounded by an Ohia forest, creating a place of serenity and privacy while cooling off in the in- ground pool. In the evening light up a fire in the outdoor fire pit and enjoy roasting marshmallows while gazing at the stars.
The home is located just a half mile from the ocean, where you can walk along the cliffs and trails. In the winter whale watching on the cliffs is a popular local past time.

Loved:
Pool - kids spent hours in it!
Kitchen Facilities - everything we needed!
House in General - very clean, very comfortable!
Location - reasonably close to Hilo and the volcano. It's a bit of a drive through HPP to get to the house, but on a very direct route.
Didn't Love:
Coqui Frogs - they didn't bother me or the kids, but my mother had a difficult time sleeping. They are loud!
Cockroach - we were very careful with our garbage, but still found one of these in the kitchen on our last day! It's the rainforest, so to be expected!
Suggestions for Improvement:
Iron - we could not find an iron or ironing board (albeit this is a very minor thing!)

Aloha, glad you enjoyed the home. As you mentioned you are in the rainforest here. The frogs are usually a love hate relationship. Some love their melody others don't like their noise. I took your suggestion and placed an iron and ironing board in the pantry. I hope we see you again
