Lakefront Resort and Private Cottage Rentals located 2.5 hours north of Toronto and very close to Algonquin Park and Muskoka. Sand Lake Cottages & Inn offers cottages that will sleep 2 and cottages that will sleep up to 10. We have private Chalets for romantic getaways and honeymoons.
Our Cottage Rentals has Hot tubs, wood fireplaces, wood stoves, amazing lake views, shallow sandy beach, gazebo area with shade, landscaped gardens, complimentary water trampoline and 5 complimentary boats. We have a playground and a tree fort for the kids. All places have very large decks with patio furniture and a propane barbecue.

Located 2.5 hours north of Toronto, 1.2 hours south of North Bay, Ontario. We are in the Almaguin Highlands very close to Algonquin Provincial Park. We are only 15 minutes north of Muskoka, Ontario. We are about 5.5 hours from Montreal.
We are off Hwy 11 so if you are coming from Toronto you take Hwy 400 to Hwy 11.

I had a really great stay in Cottage #3. I especially liked looking out the patio doors at the views and kayaking everyday. To wake up every morning and have my coffee on the large deck and have a swim after a morning jog. Sand Lake Cottages & Inn was a very restful holiday that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Southern OntarioRelaxing Ladies Weekend Getaway

What a wonderful place to just relax and revive yourself! A bunch of us girls took a weekend and headed north for what turned out to be one of the best getaways I have been on. We just hung out, talked, laughed, enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of wine, cooking meals with no time schedule, went on quiet walks and just literally enjoyed the peacefullness of Northern Ontario. We hired a massage therapist who came in the morning after we had all had an amazing sleep to help us unwind even more...could that be possible? Yes, it was and by that afternoon I was pretty sure that I might just have to make more of these trips if this is what life was like to be relaxed. Being away from the kids, hubby and away from all of the responsibilites and stress of home/life was just what I needed. Thank you Steve and Danette for opening up your little piece of heaven to share it with us. We will have these memories forever and can't wait to come back for some more R&R;!!
Maybe next time I will bring the family and enjoy laying on that beautiful sand beach...maybe!?
