Our beautiful Deluxe Studio in Keauhou, Hawaii isl located just 3 miles above kona town and 3 miles to the kona beaches. This bungalow really is a charming little getaway...Kahaluu snorkel beach is close by too.
Further Details: We have been on the big island for 30 years and chose Keauhou sunset because of the perfect central location. We are easy going and care about all our guests wants and needs! We love to make this a happy vacation...
NOTE: if this unit is booked we have an adjacent one bedroom unit that is immaculate as well and priced at $85 a night! Great to rent both units for an extended family-I will discount something like that...

The unit faces east/west and gets the daytime west winds and the soothing nightime mountain winds for peaceful sleeping...-No A/C needed because of our 600 foot elevation...... 1 ceiling fan for ventilation anyway...Feel the natural breezes here! Usually it is sunny in the daytime and then towards sunset time we may get a nice, cool shower or two and then the next morning is usually nice and sunny....Kona weather is very comfortable-

We also have fruits and veggies when in season! Beach chairs, coolers,beach towels, 2 boogy boards, snorkel gear and flashlights for a volcano run are available here for you. Unit is 10 feet from your parking space and no stairs. One stair from unit to patio.FREE INTERNET- We have either wireless or hardwire internet connections.

Our hosts, Marusya and Henry, were very accommodating, freely offering helpful advice on places to eat and attractions to visit.
The house is conveniently located only a few minutes to services, dining and shoppng and is at an elevation just high enough to capture prevailing breezes.
The studio is light, airy and comfortable with a great ocean view.
We like to eat some meals in and found the kitchen well equiped for that.

this is a perfect location to get around from on the Big Island.
the condo is wonderful it has everything. when I mentioned that I only drink tea they had a kettle here for me.The Hosts are great people who are always helpful.
I spent 3 weeks here and I would absolutely reccommend it to anyone for a place to stay

I stayed at the Studio from May 25-30 of 2012. I had only a short time off and Henry and Marusya were consumate hosts. Everything was exceptionally clean. The Studio was well appointed and convenient to many sites for shopping and pleasure. I really enjoyed my stay there and am just slow at getting this reveiw done. In many ways I'd rather keep it quiet and not say much but that's being selfish because it was so nice there! I would love to stay there again in the future.

We booked both the studio and the 1 bedroom apt at Henry's "Mango House" for our family vacation and it was exactly what we were looking for: quiet neighborhood, close to town & the ocean, away from the noise of downtown, convenience of a kitchen, beautiful sunset views, reasonably priced. The accommodations were ideal for my grandma, teenager, my husband and I. We had the choice of cooking at home in the fully equipped kitchen or going out to one of the many great restaurants close by. Henry has everything we needed - snorkel and masks, beach chairs & towels, cooler, boogie boards, books, maps and guides,WiFi internet, & premium channels on the flatscreen TV. The units are clean and well appointed & maintained. We were very comfortable and very well taken care of thanks to Henry's and Marusia's attention to detail & wonderful, friendly welcome! What a treat to sit right out the back door on the lanai and enjoy the sunset views or morning coffee or soak in the hottub. Highly recommended! Affordable, great location, nice owner! Can't wait to go back.

My wife and I stayed here back in January and enjoyed it greatly. Upon our initial arrival, Marusya greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home instantly. Later when we met Henry he also was equally friendly and very personable. In fact, they even graciously shared their bbq one day with us after we had come back late from a long day of hiking.My wife enjoys cooking and so we enjoyed the convenience of being able to make our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with commonly needed things for cooking. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and the studio in general was very nice. Inside the studio, too, we had boogie boards, beach towels we could use at the beach and also snorkling gear was an option outside in a bin. This made it very easy to have great beach fun without having to worry about bringing those things in a suitcase from home. Another reason why we chose this location is because it wasn't far from the airport and was of easy access to nearby beaches and shops. In short, we would recommend this rental to anyone without hesitation and with great enthusiasm.

We're former Kona natives who had the chance to stay at Henry and Maryusa's great little studio for a couple of months. It's at an excellent location, is spotless, and is accessible to all the great places the Big Island offers. The unit provides everything you need for a quiet holiday. And on top of everything, the price can not be beat!

This was the perfect studio! It had all the amenities that you would expect & then some! Very clean & comfortable! The owner was friendly & helpful and I couldn't find one complaint about the place! We enjoyed our stay in this deluxe studio very much!

Me and wife had a wonderful stay at this place. This was our first stay in a private rented home, and it exceeded our expectation in every way. Henry and Marusya have thought of every major and minor need a renter would have here. This was our Honeymoon, and so Henry had a Champagne bottle for us in the Refrigerator! We had total privacy in our home through all 7 days we stayed here. The bathroom was recently renovated and has been done quite nicely. Kitchen had everything one can need, somethings we don't have even in our own house! There was snorkel gear and beach chairs for our use. Internet helped us in planning for the next day. The LCD TV and so many channels in there was helpful in winding down after a 'busy' day. Downtown is easily approachable and lots of activities to do nearby. Walmart, Safeway and K-Mart are close too. While leaving, Henry didn't care of inspecting the house when we checkout. I don't want to set expectation for anyone here, but I thought this was a nice gesture.

I stayed in the Deluxe Studio, and it was a wonderful experience. Conveniently located to town, and still out of the way of the main hustle. The views from the studio are stunning as you can see the waves coming in to the best surf spot around. The place was clean and very well outfitted with dishes, appliance and everything you need. The hosts were as great as the views. Can not wait to return.

Although my stay was short, it was nice to get away from home and visit Kona with all it's charm. Henry's place is well appointed and has been recently remodled. It was very clean upon arrival and Henry was always available when needed. I would not hesitate to recommend his place to my friends.
