Our elegant little white castle is situated downtown Keflavik in walking distance from all the main attractions as well as the main shopping street and gourmet restaurants. Its closeness to the International airport as well as the city of Reykjavik and some of the most famous tourist attractions in the close vicinity makes this the ideal home away from home while travelling in Iceland. There is no need to look further if you want to stay in style for a fraction of the cost of a hotel room, enjoy the benefits of getting the lowest price on rental cars, discounts on various restaurants, fashion shops and more.

It is perfectly suited for... the romantic couple as well as families and friends. It offers free private parking, a beautiful garden with three patios to choose from and one that is equipped with a fireplace that can also be used as a charcoal grill. It offers a beautiful bathroom where you can enjoy a real wet steam bath or relax with your loved one in the double bathtub. It's perfectly suited for 2 - 6 persons. It has three bedrooms (3 x double), a living room with a fireplace and a dining area, kitchen, hallway with excess to a smaller powder room (WC). Our little whit castle comes fully equipped with free wireless internet access, satellite TV's with over 150 stations, free private parking and free phone to call all land line phones in Iceland. It's also worth to mention that in 2007 our little castle got a reward from the community for its renovation.

Our property is located downtown Keflavik in a quiet family neighborhood , 8 min. drive from the International airport (Reykjavik/KEF,Iceland), 40 minutes drive to the city of Reykjavik, 20 min. drive to the Blue Lagoon and some of the most famous tourist attraction are in close vicinity of our rental home. In walking distance from our rental house in Keflavik / Reykjanesbaer (less than 1km) you will find art galleries, boat museum, movie theater, library, pop museum, harbor fishing, glass art factory, candle factory, whale watching service, pharmacy, hospital, grocery stores, waterpark/swimmingpool, bars, fast food and fancy restaurants, bus station offering free rides within the community and scheduled tours to the capital and other places of interest.

  We stayed at the 'Little White Castle' for two nights in late March. We choose this lodging mainly because of the proximity to the airport, and where pleasantly surprised with the quality of our stay. You get the whole house (or little castle) all to yourself. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is very luxurious. Next to the larger bedroom is a space that could be used as the third bedroom, or for the kids to sleep. The kitchen is small, but functional, and the whole interior is very nicely decorated. Outside is a very nice private garden with a seating area and a large barbecue - but because of the cold weather in March we did not use. Great place, fully recommend - and like I said, only 5-10 minutes drive from the airport.
