Kelleys Island. Take Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line at East. Main Street Marblehead, Ohio 43440, 419-798-9763. From dock on Kelleys Island, turn Right out of parking lot, and travel 7/8 mile to our Inn at 827 E. Lakeshore Drive.. If you arrive by car on the ferry before the 3:00 PM Check In time, please keep your luggage with you and enjoy the island. After 3 PM please drive your vehicle to our Inn, check in and take a bicycle or rent one of our golf carts, or just head out by foot to adventure on our beautiful island. If you have come without your vehicle, leaving it in the secure lot on the Marblehead side and is after 3:00 PM, please contact the :Island Ride Taxi Service as soon as you board the ferry: 419-746-2000. They will bring you and your luggage to our Inn. PACK LIGHT .....SERIOUSLY!!!!! No high heals or fancy clothes allowed on island. "Just Breathe"!!!!!

My husband & I celebrated our one year anniversary here where we were married. We absolutely love this place! Tim & Elizabeth are a fabulous couple that own and run this Bed & Breakfast. The house is a new "old" house with all of the ammenities. Each room has its own identity with the perfect touches. If you are looking for a nice romantic weekend this is the place! In fact we even inspired a couple to get married this year. Tim is actually a minister so he is the one that married us last year. There was a couple also staying at the Resort this year that had brought all of their paperwork and was looking for someone to marry them so we told them we were married by Tim on the front porch. This place has the most beautiful view of the lake and Cedar Point.

Another wonderful visit to get away and relax for a few days. Our first visit was in 1998 and we have been back every year since then to see Beth and Tim. The gourmet breakfast was excellent as usual. It was enjoyable to talk with Mensha who, with her sister, were working at Watersedge this season. They hail from Macedonia, and Mensha's command of English was impressive, along with her attention to detail to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We look forward to seeing her again next year.

Just what my wife and I were looking for. We love the water and the ocean. The ocean is a little too far to travel for a long week-end but it felt like we were on an island in the Carribean even if it was Lake Erie. The room was perfect. The breakfast's were truly gourmet and the hosts and staff could not have been nicer. Elizabeth and Tim truly make you feel at home. Be prepared for Elizabeth's wit and sarcasm!
Be sure to ask them about the Restaurants on the Island and the food they recommend. They never steered us wrong.
We will be back to this memory making place. -

We had a wonderful vacation at the Waters Edge. The B&B; was beautiful with a grand wrap-around porch overlooking the lake. It was super relaxing, and the owners were very warm and friendly people. The breakfast was fabulous both mornings. Kelley's Island was tons of fun, and we enjoyed the bicycles and golf carts supplied by the Waters Edge. We will definitely go back!

This was are second trip to the Watersedge Resort B&B; on Kelley's Island. Had a great time, again. The Watersedge Resort experience is first class on an island that makes you forget about your daily life. Beth and Tim are excellent hosts. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is amazing and the golf carts are highly recommended. Watersedge is one of the best B&B;'s we've experienced. We highly recommend it if you are looking to get away for soem R&R;.

A Water's Edge Bed and Breakfast is dubbed the "Doll House" by Kelley's island residents. It is a spectacular,3-story home, painted pinks and greens - festooned with gingerbread trim, located on Lake Erie close to Canada. Owners Beth and Tim Hermes are fun,relaxed , cosmopolitan hosts. The breakfasts are not only gourmet but gigantic - you can skip lunch while you stay there. Amenities include use of bikes,
golf carts and a hot tub (large towels provided.)Boaters will be happy to know that three full-service marinas are close by. As a single traveller, I felt at ease and pampered. Highly recommended! -

unfortunately, we only stayed one night, however it was the most enjoyable stay I have ever had. The Island is peaceful and quiet and the Waters Edge is heaven. Tim and Beth are the best ever. Their hospitality and kindness made us feel quite at home. I dream of being able to go back again, sooner rather then later and definitely stay more than one night. Thank you to the Hermes' for allowing us to share in their beautiful, relaxing world.

Water's Edge Retreat is the perfect place to relax and escape. It is owned by Tim and Beth Hermes, who are two of the warmest and most welcoming hosts we have met. The property is right on the shore of Lake Erie, with a large wraparound porch and a sitting area on the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfasts are sumptuous and show imagination. Coffee is ready before breakfast, and evenings bring wine and cheese. Chocolates are out for later in the evening. Bicycles are available for touring the island, and if you wish, you can rent a golf cart or enjoy a massage or a sailing trip. Water's Edge has everything you could want in a B&B...and; more!
