Lovely accommodation with high quality furnishings, lovely patio with own table and chairs, only been open for 3 months. Accommodation has everything you could ever need.Bathroom has a wet room which is good if you have mobility problems, hence the main reason we went for this self catering house. Countryside location, very quiet and peaceful, all you hear is the birds and sheep outside but no noise what so ever inside due to the triple glazing. Not far from the main town of Kendal and within easy reach by car to many of the beautiful lakes.
The owners have certainly put a lot of thought and effort into their stunning accommodation.
One thing that would be helpful would be to include a welcome basket of say...milk,tea,coffee etc just enough to be able to have a cuppa to keep you going till you find a shop, otherwise can't fault the place at all...simply stunning.
Thank you for providing us with such a beautiful home and setting for our break away, much appreciated.
Keep up the good work and you'll certainly have a very busy business

Been meaning to write this for some time now. We had the pleasure of staying at The Hyning Estate for our Honeymoon early March, I believe we were actually the first to stay there. We had the carriage house and we were absolutely blown away at just how nice it was. Brand new and the way it was all furnished was nothing but superb. Every aspect could not be faulted, we stay at the lakes every year and this is easily the nicest place we have stayed. The location is ideal as its just outside of Kendal and a great base for getting out around the lakes.
We cant wait to go back to The Hyning Estate and cant rate it highly enough. It made for a perfect honeymoon and we still feel so lucky to have stumbled accross it when we were looking.
Outstanding - highly recommended

Everything about this venue was outstanding - the quality of the accommodation was unlike anything I have seen in previously in any holiday cottage including National Trust properties; the location and views were beautiful, the care and attention given by the owners. We look forward to going back.
