This four bedroom property just one mile from Kenmare in Ireland, is able to sleep up to eight people. This spacious, detached cottage is set within its own grounds overlooking the Kenmare Estuary. Only a mile from the small town of Kenmare in County Kerry, this property offers spectacular mountain views, a lovely rural setting, a modern atmosphere and traditional comfort. Accommodation is composed of four double bedrooms – one with en-suite – a fitted kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a living room with open fire and mountain views. Guests can relax and enjoy a drink in the garden, or curl up in front of the cosy open... fire, making this a wonderful location regardless of the time of year.

Region: County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

Town: The picturesque town of Kenmare is situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. With beautiful beaches, wildlife and lovely scenery, the area is popular amongst walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. The surrounding coastline is rugged, though does offer a number of sandy beaches in addition to the more common pebble strands that are found around the bay. The town of Kenmare itself is an interesting place, with long winding streets and traditional farmers markets, artists’ galleries, independent boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland. The famous town of Killarney is close by and is home to an abundance of attractions, pubs, festivals and a National Park. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Met by the owner in Kenmare and escorted to the house which is situated about a mile from and high above the town. Great views over the town and counryside. The house has spacious bedrooms, a sitting room and a large well equiped kitchen/diner.
  It is an excellent base for exploring the Ring of Kerry and also the Bearra Peninsular. Kenmare is an attractive town with a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs. If you are loking for a special meal, I can recommend the Wild Garlic restuarant in Kenmare.
