A lovely cottage, surrounded by lawned gardens, situated one mile from Kenmare, County Kerry, sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms. Rock Lodge is a delightful cottage one mile from Kenmare, County Kerry. With three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single, as well as a futon bed in the mezzanine reading area, it sleeps six comfortably. There is also two shower rooms, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove, as well as the mezzanine reading area. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Me and my friend were directed to the nature surrounded cottage located close to Kenmare by the service lady. After a short introduction we made ourselves comfortable. The cottage is very spacious esp. when occupied by only 2 persons. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and large kitchen area. Due to a lack of isolation and weak heating system, the house remained fairly cold throughout our stay. The oven was a big plus then. The interior design is nice and decent. The kitchen is well equipped although not suficient for more than 3 persons. Cleanliness could be improved. Towels, linens and toilet paper were provided. Both of the power showers esp. the one in the first bathroom did not work well.
All in all a nice cottage located very close to the beautiful city Kenmare. Recommendable for friends or couples seeking for a quit, out-of-town cottage. -

Had a great weeks holiday in Rock Lodge and despite the rain it was very enjoyable. Loved Rock Lodge. So unique and a pleasure to stay in. The house was spotless and there was plenty of towels and the patio area was lovely. Would definatley recommend.
