Novato, CAWonderful time at Greystone!
Left on 01/22/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Greystone is truly a luxury estate and has all the amenities plus that one could want. The home is luxurious and so comfortable. We stayed over the New Years holiday and the home was beautifully decorated for the holidays! Personal attention to every detail makes this estate special (not to mention the champagne and appetizers that were ready for us upon our arrival!). The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you could possible need or want. The outdoor area is lovely. We didn't use the pool or the tennis courts as it was cold but looking forward to our return in June when the weather will be fabulous. Both Janece, the owner, and Stephanie, concierge, were there when we arrived and was a pleasure to meet them. From the minute you book your stay until the time you depart you truly feel special! Can't wait to return in the summer! The best part for me was that I only live 45 minutes away but felt like I had gotten on an airplane and was transported to a new fabulous place!!

We wanted for nothing - everything we needed was there! The home was elegant, clean, comfortable with really good amenities. It was even festively decorated for Thanksgiving which was perfect for our group get-away!
We had a great time and will definitely return! Thank you so much for having us in your home... we're ready to move in ;) -

Deerfield, IlOur stay at Greystone was an awesome & memorable friends and fam
Left on 10/25/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The house was everything we expected from the online and email correspondence. The highlight of the experience was the knowledge and dedication of the Donna & Stephanie. Donna walked us through the location and check in very well and made us comfortable doing what we wanted to do. For example, we appreciated having the flexibility to go out, but, also appreciated heeding her advice on staying on the property for 2 evenings. In terms of location we had originally focused on Napa because of prior experience, but, we came top appreciated the area around Greystone.
The size was perfect for us (group of 9). We liked the hospitality the best. It was hard to find any faults. There was a minor issue with the spa cover (chain missing to hold the top upright). Central lighting would be a plus because there were a lot of lights to turn on and off

menlo park, caFabulous Weekend - We didn't want to leave
Left on 05/14/2012 for a stay in March 2012
I had arranged a ladies weekend to celebrate a couple of birthdays. In the weeks prior to our trip, the concierge had helped me set up some fun activities. She was extremely helpful and easily reachable by phone and/or email. After several conversations with her, I knew we were in good hands. As the weather the week of our arrival changed from glorious sunshine to damp rain, I scrambled to figure out new weekend plans. (We had planned a number of outdoor activities) The concierge at Greystone came to the rescue. Her helpful and relaxed attitude made all everything work even with a number of last minute changes. She handled all the cancellations and helped rescheduled new activities for us. She made the whole weekend work. We just had to arrive and enjoy ourselves. I can't say enough good things about her. The house is fabulous with a lot of space and great facilities but the part that makes the trip a success and enjoyable for the guests is that the concierge is such a capable and pleasant person. As a guest you can really relax and enjoy. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are fortunate enough to stay here, you are in for a treat.

We loved Greystone Manor so much it was hard to leave it. Beautiful grounds and candlelit evenings on the patio where we dined on great food and wine with friends.
Heaven among the vines where we got to have some good downtime! Can't wait to be back for another visit. Thank you to all at Greystone for making the weekend remarkable! -

Los Angeles, CADown Home Luxury in Wine Country
Left on 11/14/2011 for a stay in October 2011
As a frequent traveler due to work, it's safe to say I am pretty much over hotels. So when I travel for leisure, I want to feel like I'm home so I can truly relax and enjoy myself. And Greystone Estate gave me just that.
Greystone gives you the 5-star experience tailored to your needs with a warm smile and no attitude. Imagine stepping out into a gorgeous estate with every amenity you could ever ask for including an outside sitting area with fireplace, tennis courts, fully stocked kitchen and pool. A wine concierge to help plan the perfect wine tasting experience. If you wish, a private chef to prepare the best meal you've had with local, fresh fare. And recommendations of the best places to go in town, whether it's a relaxing massage or amazing Indian food. When you stay at Greystone, it's much more than just a property - it's like a home away from home.
I've been coming to Sonoma for 15 years and wish I knew about Greystone sooner. The secret is out - and all of my future wine country trips will be spent at the lovely Greystone Estate. -

LAWelcome Home
Left on 11/13/2011 for a stay in October 2011
I had the opportunity to stay at GreystoneEstate a few weeks ago. The property is beautiful. As we entered the driveway and approached the house, the first thing I noticed was the impeccable landscaping. It felt like the estate itself was welcoming us like an old friend we hadn't seen for years.
The home itself is large but in no way overwhelming. The decor is tasteful and warm and there are many areas that lend themselves to conversation and most of all relaxation.
Once we were settled in, I had the chane to walk the grounds and take in the tranquil beauty of the Sonoma area. Our chef prepared a glorious meal which was paired with some delicious reds from the local region...the perfect kickstart to our Sonoma experience.
The followings days were busy with tastings and tours of a few of the many wineries that have made Sonoma famous. The best part of every day was being able to come "home" to GreystoneEstate and relax with my friends over a great glass of wine and have some quality moments together. We were so comfortable that it really felt like home.
I highly recommend GreystoneEstate. It is a very special place that needs to be experienced. -

The grounds are gorgeous, the appointments luxurious. I could have stayed here for a month! The concierge staff was very helpful, and there were so many lovely vineyard excursions. The outside fireplace kept us warm for outside dining, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The beds were divine!

Everything about Greystone Estate indicated "home away from home" but wrapped in affordable & delicious "luxury!" The estate is magic, where you heart simply rests to let your soul dance among the vines!
Service was stellar with the most attentive staff catering to your every whim and want! I wish I could stay forever, but then again, it would be selfish to deprive others of this exquisite experience! Absolutely recommend to all! Go visit now and enjoy! -

Santa BarbaraFantastic house!
Left on 04/07/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Greystone is incredible! We stayed at the home with family and friends, including 3 children. There was plenty of room as the house is very spread out. Sandy is incredible and has impecable recommendatons for wineries, restaurants and anything else you'd need in the area. The location is ideal- close to many great wineries, 10 minutes away from Glen annie complete with gormet grocery store, tasting rooms and resturants. If you are thinking of renting a home in the area and need this size, I would 100% recommend it, as would everyone who stayed with me. It truely is a gem!

Left on 03/01/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We recently stayed here with a group of friends and had the most amazing time. The house and grounds are flawless, the service unbeatable, and the location superb. You are far enough away from nearby towns for quiet, star-filled nights, but close enough for easy wine tasting and dining out. Sadly, it was freezing cold when we stayed so we couldn't use the pool, but the fireplaces kept us nice and cozy. We'll definitely be back!

Left on 11/16/2010 for a stay in October 2010
There was a group of ten of us 5 couples and we thouroughly enjoyed the house. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We had dinner in all three nights cooking ouselves two nights and found everyhing we needed in the kitchen to prepare a gourmet dinner. We had wine makers come to the house for tastings two nights and a chef fix us dinner one evening.
After visiting 7 wineries a day staying in for dinner seemed to be the overwhelming choice of all.We enjoyed all the ammenities the house had to offer including the outdoor fireplace and kitchen. We played games in the game room and dining room and watched football on the flat screen Tv's. The best part about our stay was Sandy the concierge. She made it easy and very memorable. She organized our tastings and transportation. Arranged the limo driver and scheduled tastings at some of our favorites as well as some of her faviorites. We were treated like royalty at several wineries including lunch at the wine makers house for a tasting. We enjoyed special treatment because of her contacts at many wineries. I emailed her a shopping list for dinner the first night. She obtained all the ingriedients needed for that nights preperation and as well as breakfast items for our stay. She assisted me in preparing dinner. She made the salad with tomatoes from her husbands garden, chopped vegetables, served, and cleaned up. We could not thank Sandy enough anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable she did with attention to detail. She even shipped back the individual bottles of wine we purchased after we departed. We purchased a barrel at one of the wineries we visited to be bottled next year and will definitely be staying there when we return in 2011. -

Durham, NCCan't wait to come back again!
Left on 11/07/2010 for a stay in October 2010
My husband and I traveled from the East Coast with 4 other couples for a visit to wine country. This house worked out great for us. And Sandy, the Concierge, was awesome. We sent out a list of items that we wanted in the house and she made sure all the items were purchased and in the house when we arrived. We are already hoping to plan another trip next year! The house was incredible. Very warm and comfortable. I would have been just as happy hanging out there the whole time vs. going to the wineries!

Left on 09/20/2010 for a stay in September 2010
The property could not have worked out better. We used it as an opportunity to gather with family and friends for my wife's 50th B-Day. Everyone and I mean everyone was very please with the property. But that is not the best part!!! Sandy, the concierge is the icing on the cake. She took care of everything we did not want to take care of. The location is great as well, close to wineries, restaurants, hiking and biking, etc... Have Fun!!!
