The superb accommodation comprises of a fully fitted Kitchen, which includes automatic washing machine, Cooker/Hob, Microwave and Fridge. A large Lounge/Diner plus a spacious Bedroom with King Size Bed and En-suite Bathroom. Also benefiting from an Air Conditioned/Heat Pump in the apartment.

We spent 5 nights at The Promontory over Christmas. This luxury apartment is very conveniently located close to Kerikeri town and other local attractions. However, once you enter the grounds and take in the view and wonderful facilities of the accommodation, the incredibly relaxing atmosphere makes it very easy to feel you are miles from anywhere.
The apartment itself is modern, spacious, luxurious and well equipped with everything you would need for a truly comfortable home away from home. The huge deck with fabulous views is the perfect spot to relax.
The hosts, Andy & Min were wonderful, providing a very warm welcome, along with local advice and information. A delicious, fresh continental breakfast is supplied daily and the apartment is serviced discreetly whilst guests are out. Although attached to the main house, with its own entrance, deck and car parking, the apartment is very private.
There are excellent quality kayaks provided for guest use, along with life jackets and access to the water from the property, plus a swimming pool on site. Advice is provided on local routes to paddle, along with assistance to get the kayaks to the water.
We found andy & Min to be friendly, welcoming, helpful, kind & approachable, we could not have asked for better hosts. Some personal touches during our stay were very much appreciated.
Our stay at The Promontory was everything we had hoped for and more, even the wet weather for the first couple of days did not dampen our spirits! We'd highly recommend this accommodation option and will be back ourselves too! -

This apartment is beautifully appointed, carefully tended inside and out, and set in an amazing location just outside Kerikeri - close enough to be handy for shops and restaurants, but far enough out to be really peaceful.
The water view from the deck is of an inlet with lots of bird life and the odd boat passing by. Although the owners live next door, they very much respect your privacy, but at the same time are more than willing to give advice if you require it.
We spent a week here and no future trip to NZ would be complete without having at least that long here again. There is plenty to do in the local area, with lovely coastal walks, trips to Russel and Pahia, and all the activities that the Bay of Islands has to offer. -

KeriKeri is the best location from which to explore the Far North- it is central & postcard beautiful from so many locations. The Promontory offers an ever-changing landscape overlooking the tidal estuary. Over 14 nights, we never tired of watching fish leap out of the water, whilst enjoying the odd glass of wine on the huge balcony.
Andy & Min provide the very best of customer service- available whenever required (to set us up with kayak's), but discrete (in servicing our apartment whilst we were out exploring).
All of the amenities are first rate, with appreciated touches of quality service (complimentary breakfasts). You couldn't be disappointed if selecting this option.
