UKIncredible Villa and a Wonderful Holiday
Left on 04/19/2013 for a stay in March 2013
It is villas in locations such as this that make me wonder why on earth anyone would stay in a fancy hotel. Why? It doesn't make sense when, for the same price, or less, you can have your own villa, several separate houses, your own pool, kitchen open plan sitting-room and easy access to inordinately cheap, nannies and cooks. We had two cooks and a nanny and it cost us very little - but made an enormous difference in dealing with the kids. It meant we could go out at night, play in the pool whilst they prepared meals during the day and generally muck around.
The incredible thin about each of the three Unam di Desa properties is that they have both been beautifully designed and built by the builder/architect, and then furnished in very complimentary taste by the owners. It is all light colours and local tiles, carefully cut lawns and wonderful Balinese furnishings.
We loved it and I reckon you will too. -

We spent 4 nights at Umah Di Desa III in March and had a fabulous time. The villa is very beautiful with all the comforts that make a holiday memorable. Lorraine was very helpful and the staff were willing to assist in anyway they could. We would love a return visit!

I had the pleasure of staying here for a long 4 day weekend. It is finished to very high standards and clearly the owners have paid a lot of attention to detail. Loads of room for my wife and two kids - a great pool and garden area, great bedrooms (best sleep i've had in ages) and a really cool family living / dining area. Edna the maid is on hand at all times without being at all intrusive. There are some great bars and restaurants on the beach nearby, Xana Beach club being the pick of the bunch. We will defnitely be back !

We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful villa...a real mini paradise! The Villa was beautifully designed and immaculate, but still had a real 'homely' feel. The private pool and garden gets sun all day which is perfect for spending time in your own villa world! The owners, Pun and Lorraine, and their staff were so welcoming and were always happy to help in any way they could.
The location is great, between Seminyak and Canggu, as it is very close to the beach, and some good restaurants and bars, but it is set back from the main road so it's very quiet. Everything you want is within an easy bike ride (which can be borrowed from the Villa), or an even shorter scooter ride, if you're brave enough!
I would definitely recommend Umah Di Desa; we had a brilliant time and I would love to stay there again the next time that I am in Bali. -

We absolutely loved the place and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Bali.
We had a very nice welcoming as we arrived to the Villa even though we booked it quite late they were there straight away to meet and greet as we pulled up with the car.
The Villa itself is very beautiful you open up the gate and walk in to a little private garden and that one leads into the main villa. behind the next door everything opens up and you have the living room/kitchen lounge which is big and very open. Big nice clean pool and an inner "garden" aswell. 2 separate buildings wich will be the bedrooms. very clean and they have everything, a nice bath if you would like to have one of those otherwise big and clean showers.
location is good aswell not on the main street so its nice and quiet but still really close to the most popular resturants they have maps and phone numbers to all of em inside the villa aswell. if you do stay the definitively check out Naughty Nurys best BB ribs in bali for sure wich it takes like 4-5 min to walk to.
or you can borrow a push bike for free from the villa.
Thank you so much guys for a lovely stay and you'll see us again.
Cheers Ronnie and Laura -

Houston, TexasPristine, relaxed luxury at affordable price in idyllic location

These villas made a wonderful retreat; beautifully laid out for maximum comfort and relaxation... I could have easily not left the villa for a couple of days and would have been quite content! The private pool is wonderful, and surrounded by lots of spots to relax... a day bed, recliners, outdoor living area with comfy sofa, all beautifully and simply and comfortably decorated. The outdoor kitchen is great and easy to use to cook a meal and the villa comes with a breakfast package. The bedroom/bathroom is very luxurious with a large double bed and lots of space and light.
Leaving the villa was a struggle! But nearby in the fast developing Batu Belig there are great cafe and boutique shops, and it's all within easy distance to the trendy beachfront W hotel and Potato Head drinking spots and Seminyak shops. All in all a fantastic relaxing stay; a real find. And owners Loz and Pun very helpful with the stay and suggestions for things to do and see around Bali. -

New YorkStunning villa, idyllic!
Left on 02/10/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We had stayed at the other villa (2bed) 7 months ago and had such a great time that we came back -- this time we stayed at the new villa which was just finished a few months ago. This 3 bed is just as spacious, and great for families with kids - the adjoining room to the master bedroom is ideal for this. Like the other villa, the rooms have a California king size bed which are very comfy. The decor stylish, like pages from an Elle Decor mag!
Housekeeping was discreet every day, and Pun and Loz, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating - they always had time for us if we had any queries. The driver picked us up at the airport with no hassles. I had to check a few work emails and was worried about the internet connection -- but it was speedy and I didnt have a problem.
Last time we were there the road to the villa had not been properly paved so the ride in was slightly bumpy, but now the road has been beautifully done and makes the trip to and from the villa much easier.
We were surprised to see so many more restaurants and bars emerge within the last few months, it made choosing a restaurant that much more difficult - we were spoilt for choice! We didnt use the kitchen much since we went out for most our meals, but it was great to have the option to either stay in for meals or go out. The kitchen is fully-eqipped, and the owners mentioned that if we wanted a cook to come in and cook for us they could easily arrange it.
I have stayed at both villas now and loved it - I would definitely recommend it to friends!
