Perfect location for a perfect holiday

Left on 08/27/2012 for a stay in August 2012

We were dleighted with every aspect of our recent stay here. The apartment was extremely clean, and much rommier than we were expecting... plenty of space for three. The location of the property is perfect... literally twenty paces from the hussle and bussle of Keswick, yet still quiet and secluded. The bus station conveniently located acorss the road means that you could easily holiday here without using your car at all. Excellent holiday, will definitely be booking a return visit.

      Super convenient and clean apartment

Left on 03/06/2012 for a stay in June 2011

I could not think of a better location to stay in the Lake District. The apartment is literally a 60 second walk to the bus station and a large grocery store (Booth's). There's a great little art/teashop (Temporary Measure) just around the corner and the pubs are an easy 3-5 minute stroll down the street. The apartment is extremely clean. It's the perfect size for 1-3 people. Stuart, the owner, is very friendly and helpful.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Keswick - everything is in easy walking distance - pubs, lake, supermarkets, bus station, takeaways etc. Apartment is comfy and warm and very welcoming - a private parking space so close to town is a real bonus. We've been twice and have booked a third visit - says it all really!

Firstly, I'd like to say that the owner was very flexible in helping us stay at his lovelly apartment. It is at the heart of keswick but nice and quiet. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.Everything we needed was there with plenty of local information available. A bottle of wine and some fantastic pictures of the surrounding area were a lovelly gesture!

A perfect retreat after a day on the hills.

Left on 01/30/2012 for a stay in July 2011

For us, travelling by public transport, this was a perfect place to stay. The bus stop, local shops, (even a launderette, which we didn't use) were all within a few yards - and the superb countryside, which was the reason for our visit after all! easily accessible on foot. The accommodation was more than adequate for 2 people for 1 week's stay and very clean. Excellent shower too! Only possible criticism (and not major!) was the rather fiddly box containing the key - however I can't think of any other way to leave a key in safety.

      great apartment ,great location

Left on 01/27/2012 for a stay in October 2011

We have stayed in the lake district many times ,but never in a town, always rural.
Was surprised how quiet the apartment was ,even though its right in the middle of town, convienient for the shops pubs and only a short walk to the lake.
Apartment was just as described in the ad,very clean and well equiped, everything you needed,a home from home.
The furnishings were excellent and the bed very comfy.
The extras were a nice touch, toiletries in the bathroom and a wellcoming bottle of wine on arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay and would return again if we were to visit Keswick.

      Nice and cosy apartment.
Walk out of the apartment and you are right in the centre of Keswick.
Plenty of walks means that you can park the car and never use it until it's time to go home!!

Return to our beloved Lake District

Left on 01/26/2012 for a stay in June 2011

The directions and central position in Keswick were very good. The flat had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Shower was excellent and kitchen well fitted. We particularly liked the quiet position but closeness to the shops. We liked being able to shop at nearby Morrisons for ready meals from cook plus salads, so catering made easy. No need to get the car out as many walks, theatre etc all within walking distance.

      Great Location

Left on 01/26/2012 for a stay in October 2011

We stayed in this apartment in October 2011. It is compact but very warm and comfortable which is just what you need after a long day on the fells.
Probably the best thing is the town centre location with private parking which if you know Keswick, is a great attribute and yet it is so quiet and private.
Therefore we were able to stroll into the town for a meal and beer without stress.
Also good to have 2 supermarkets around the corner.
      We will go back again
