      Great break, despite the weather

      Great location, in a quiet part of town, but easily accessible to walk to all the amenities. The house was well presented with all furnishings to a high standard, and all you could need in regards to fascilities. Only there for 3 days and the rain followed us up there, but enjoyed the break.

      Pinecroft is a modern bunglalow in a great location on the outskirts of Keswick. It has beautiful views towards Grisedale Pike and you can sit out on the decking and admire the view. The facilities within the bungalow are modern with a great kitchen and wonderful "waterfall" shower. We stayed there when it was bitterly cold outside and can truly say we were as snug as a bug. The only criticism I have is that we found the beds a bit hard but apart from that it was very comfortable.

      Lovely home from home property.
      Very comfortable and warm with wonderful interior decor.
      15 - 20 minute walk from Keswick town centre.
      The view of the fells from the dining room window, beautiful.
      Not needing to use car as many walks from the door.
      Excellent service.

      We were met by the very pleasant owner who showed us over the property. We liked the bungalow very much. It was well appointed and very modern. We had to work out how to use some of the appliances!
      The kocation was very good from a scenic point of view. The wide views of the hills were lovely. However to walk out of the property aloways meant an uphill walk back and our ageing bones didn;t take kindly to that. It was easy to get about by car from the property. If the weather had been better we would have liked to sit out on the verandah and just enjoy the peace and quiet.

      This is the first time we have used Cottage Holiday Group and it was so easy from finding the place we would like to stay until the day we arrived. We have stayed in a number of cottages in Keswick in the past but there was non to compare with Pinecroft. One of the most important features when looking for our ideal holiday home is a having a garden and we chose this cottage despite the fact that it is on the outskirts of the town. The location did not turn out to be a problem as it was easy to walk into town in fact it added to the holiday as the views from the cottage were fantastic. The cottage itself had everything and was immaculately clean and well kept. The only problem we found was the weather which affected the sky signal on the TV. However this was a minor problem as we did not go on holiday to watch TV and the provision of additional sets in both the kitchen and bedroom meant we were still able to access it.

      A superb retreat for anyone wishing to visit the Lakes. An extremely well appointed single storey accommodation ( I have "bad" knees so this was a bonus)just a few minutes drive from Keswick town centre. Amenities were also excellent. All this coupled with a very accomodating owner make this a well recommended holiday home.

      Very well appointed accommodation with the exception of the ensuite shower room to one of the bedrooms which is very small with barely enough room to turn round. Otherwise comfortable rooms and stylish kitchen. A few minor problems such as a broken shelf in the fridge but overall very good.

      A very comfortable & well equipped bungalow in a small garden. Everything exactly as described on the website. Wonderful views of the fells from the garden and when sitting at the dining table. Easy walking distance of Keswick centre. Visiting in September we didn't sit outside but inside we didn't notice the noise from the road.

      The place was nice .Well equipped .En suite was very cramped. Water temp in shower very temperamental could not get it set right.Main bed with foot board a bit short.
