The Old Mill is a superbly furnished and equipped modern apartment sleeping 2 people. The open plan living area has a delightful juliette balcony overlooking Derwent Street. Located in the centre of Keswick it is a fabulous base from which to explore Keswick and the Northern Lake District.
This upper floor, self contained apartment is centrally located just off Keswick town centre and is within 50 yards of George Fishers Outdoor Shop and 200 yards of the Theatre by the Lake and Derwentwater. Great location and well equipped - except no hairdryer and could not get fire to work though storage radiators meant nice and warm! Plenty of storage. Might be difficult for some with stairs from front door and very low beds.

Second time we have visited The Old Mill. Lovely flat,very clean and well furnished,quiet road with all amenities round the corner. Never heard any neighbours, just down the road from the cinema and local small supermarket. Highly recommended, but the access stairs (18 I think) might put some people off (not us though). I would not recommend for young families for this reason. So sorry it is already booked for the week we need next year, hopefully the following year we will be back.

very good service from Cottage holidays as previously. This flat is lovely, in a great location in the centre of Keswick, but we weren't aware of any noise. We love the choice of places to eat and the general atmosphere of the place.

This property is just off the centre of town. Brilliant for shops, pubs, restuarants and even the cinema is just at the top of the road. Keswick itself is a fine place to stay being close to the lake and a good place to start many walks - the reason we went to Cumbria.

The cottage was clean, comfy and nicely decorated. It had lots of nice little personal touches such as fresh flowers on the balcony, bits and bobs under the sink like washing up liquid, dishwashing tablets etc and all these little things made a difference
