I enjoyed my short stay in nkeswick with its wonderful views and walks. It was made that much better by staying in this small but well maintained property. I would definitely stay there again.

Small for 4 people and not adequately equipped. Terrible bed in back bedroom very uncomfortable and would suggest buying a new mattress. The website should actually say no parking as it is misleading. On the positive side it is in the very centre of Keswick which is what we wanted. Heating and shower worked well. Read more
We are sorry to hear that your stay at this property was not as expected.
We do state on our website that this property is small and cosy and has been enjoyed by many couples and small families wishing to visit the area.
Due to the location of this property, parking is not provided but on street parking can be found only a short distance away.
Your comments will be passed to the owner, however, mattresses are a personal preference and unfortunately we are unable to cater for all tastes.
We hope that that these issues did not detract from your enjoyment of the Lake District and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Excellent location, but small, with tricky shower.

Location was ideal, but cottage very small.Ok for 2 people no more.Fridge, hob, microwave, TV, utensils, bed all okay (though other bed awful squeak).
Adequate for hanging clothes. Hot water OK.
Biggest problem was shower.Although small, this was not the main problem. It was very difficult to get it to the right temperature. You had to fiddle about with it to avoid scalding / freezing water.
No parking nearby, had to drive around streets looking for a spot every day.
Overall I would give it 7/10. We will look for a more modern apartment next time.

It is nestled in the heart of Keswick so was easily accessible to all the amenities over the christmas period and this was very convenient for us as we did not drive a car. We were able to explore the natural beauty of the area on foot and bus rides further a field to ambleside, it was very refreshing. The apartment itself served our purpose well for the short break away.
The only downer I would say is that we had asked for some outside lights as the entrance is in a little alley way and it was a bit dim when we got in in the evenings. This was not sorted before we left so we were disappointed about that. It would have been nice it the agents had taken the time to sort that out. Apart from that it was a great stay.
