Good Value, but could be better!

Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in October 2012

I was a late reservation (less than a week), so my expectations were low. We arrived on time, but the rental office had not sent me my entry instructions. They had somehow not found one of my documents in preparation for our arrival. This may have been due to our short time in reservation - and that happens. Once I called them, it was processed quickly and with a courteous smile. When we arrived, we discovered the entry document was for the incorrect suite. We had no cell service at this point, so we found a garage in town that let us use the phone. Once I explained my situation, they were able to send someone out to meet us, and all was resolved.

We were pleasantly surprised that the suite was exactly as described, and a good likeness to the photographs on their website. It has been recently renovated, with nice finishes for the price point. Outlets were not quite in the places we needed them, but were adequate. Tv was a hi def LCD - with cable, so viewing was easy. WiFi was great on the PC, although my Ipad had difficulty. I blame the user on this - not the service.

Living room/dining area was clean and bright, although we did find one light not working properly and the wall clock battery was dead. The blinds were dusty, and a few dirt spots on the floor, as well as dirty coasters were discovered. But I am a bit picky, most would not notice these things.

Kitchen was well stocked with glassware and space for a few nights stay. A microwave there was very helpful, and all appliances were clean and worked well. A dishwasher would have been a great asset.

Heat and aC worked great. Beds are queens, and placed in an odd way in the bedrooms. They were comfortable, and did not smell musty or bad. Soundproofing from the neighboring units are not like a hotel, as we had a family of small elephants next to us for one or two nights. I was able to hear someone snoring in the next unit.

Bathroom was probably the biggest let down for me. Very small, although completely updated. It was clean, but in our unit the floor was spongy around the toilet. Shower was clean and bright, offered plenty of hot water and water pressure.

There is a porch with a picnic table and grill for guest use. Our unit did not offer the best view, but a short walk to the water got a better view.

We used this suite as a home base between Rochester, Geneva and Bath NY, and this was a perfect setting for us. The road is pretty quiet, and the accommodations were almost perfect for us. I would recommend this to family and friends. This would be a perfect place for wine tours, overnight stays or small family reunions.

      Awesome

Left on 09/03/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Our family was completely delighted with our vacation to Keuka Lake. The property was beautiful and the suite easily accomodated our family of 5. We loved having morning coffee right on the lake and being able to tie up our wave runners on the dock and use them whenever we wanted. The weather was fabulous and the location perfect--if we wanted to do something other than boating we were only 45 minutes to an hour away from another activity. I would highly recommend this spot to others interested in this type of vacation. Before we left my one daughter was already asking if we could return next year.

      Delightful. Welcoming!

Left on 04/26/2012 for a stay in July 2011

What a delight to find this "gem" along beautiful Keuka Lake not far from Penn Yan, NY! Our 2-bedroom suite was fully equipped and decorated with a "nature" theme. My husband and I were pleased to enjoy morning sunrises on the large front porch or beach area. There is easy access to the dock and swimming area which we enjoyed. Boat rentals are near-by for water skiing and/or fishing. Lady of the Lakes is located not far from many wineries and is not far from the Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, the "Coolest Small Town in the U.S. However, we wanted to stay and enjoy our time along Keuka Lake!

      Beautiful accommodations and Sunrise

Left on 04/21/2012 for a stay in July 2011

Beautiful accommodations with a great lake view. We held a family reunion and several of us stayed in the 5, 2 bedroom suites. We all loved the accommodations and the lakeside fires by the dock. Be sure to rise early to view the beautiful sunrises.
