This lovely historic home was the pastors residence and office (for the church and school next door). Located close to downtown and steps away from the harbor, you can enjoy easy walks out to the lighthouse. While the house has had some upgrades - including the new modern bathroom and refinished wood floors - much of it retains its original charm. This furnished 2 bedroom apartment is a wonderful, relaxing space for those on vacation or holiday- also perfect for temp workers or those in transition. It is on the 1st floor of the 2 story house. Close to downtown but still residential and just steps away from the harbor, Ice Age Trail (Ahnapee Trail), the pier to the lighthouse, the Kewaunee river and some of the greatest salmon fishing in the world on Lake Michigan! Nearby is Winter Park for tubing and skiing and the Besadney Andromadous Fish Hatchery- where you can watch salmon climb the ladder to spawn. There is fantastic hiking, biking kayaking and canoeing opportunities just outside the door.
