This is the perfect spot for a get away. The home was just a described and immaculately clean. We were able to keep our boat at the dock without any problems. The combination entry was perfect for us as it eliminated the need for keys. We would highly recommend this unit for a get away.

I looked at hundreds of houses to rent and chose this one for the location, cabana club membership, price, and the fact that it was recently updated. We had a great stay. We were walking distance to the playground, golf course, sunset beach, the cabana club, three restaurants and a coffee shop. There were nice walking /bike paths throughout the island. Key colony beach is so much less congested than the other areas we drove through, yet had everything we could want. The cabana club was great. It had food, drinks, pool, sandy beach and nice breezes. The house itself was great. I loved the screened porch and the chair out by the water. The house was clean and has everything you need. I loved having a washer and dryer right there.

Casa Mar azul II turned out to be a nice four week stay. At first glance, we were disappointed that the home was not as "polished" as we had hoped, but it did turn out to be just what we needed. The rooms were quite comfortable and the supplies were always sufficient. The owner and property manager could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The canal view was just great. We liked our month that we signed up for another month next year. What better recommendation could we give?

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is a friendly environment with a great neighborhood. The playground is close and the Cabana was a great place to hang out. There is a nice beach area right next to the pool.
The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room at the dock.
We will be glad to return for another vacation. -

We were very comfortable in our accommodations. The cabana club was a great compliment as we had a clean private beach as well as a pool. So it was nice to have the amenities of a hotel and the privacy of a house. Also my husband loved having a golf course across the street.

Our family has been in the lodging hospitality industry for more than 42 years. We own and operate several properties in South Florida to include 2 vacation homes in Key Colony Beach. We place customer service and having satisfied guests at the top of our list. Every one of our properties are "Award WInning"properties. We work very hard to see that every property is pristine clean with new or almost new furnishings in every unit or home.
We purchased our 2nd vacation home, Casa Mar Azul II in Sep. of 2010. This home was completely renovated and added with more than 90 percent new furniture. It looks marvelous and we have received 5 star reviews from everyone with the exception of this guest.
As the owner and General Manager of this vacation home I wanted to solve any disappointments with our previous guest who wrote this email. I emailed this guest and waited for many days with no response. We did not receive and phone calls nor emails during or after their departure about any problems.
I personally was just at the home in mid December after we had a new driveway and walkways constructed in brick pavers. I did my normal home inspection walk throughs and did not see any furniture damaged or anything damaged on the outside, exterior of our home. The home was in very clean condition and only found the A/C filter needed to be replaced.
It surely is disappointing to see negative reviews that do not represent our home in a fair manner. I have slept in this home myself and I can tell you that it is a beautiful home in Excellent condition and offered at Great Valued Rates. It is also an "Award Winning" property.
We are very proud of our all of our staff that works very hard to present some of the best lodging Vacation Villas and Vacation Homes in the lodging business. -

"We had a wonderful time". Beautiful Dock! We stayed two weeks and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The only thing missing was a opener for Joe's wine. We will definitely stay again. In fact, we are planning on going again in May next year!!

Casa Mar azul II was a pleasant "gift" to us leaving the snow of NY in early February. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew that we had made an excellent decision. The home is clean, organized and in a very nice setting that just puts you in a good space. The kitchen was well equipt with the fundamental kitchen needs...who is cooking an eight course meal on vacation anyway:) The owner was very cordial and extremely responsive through the planning stage. It is clear that they are committed to upholding high standards for their guests because they definitely care that expectations are met...and cleary, they exceeded mine.

This duplex was renovated just before we rented it for the month. John & Aileen did a very nice job with the renovation. John, being in the hotel business, really knows what counts and it shows in the unit. I also work in the hotel interiors business and tend to be critical because of it. Bed bugs r a big issue these days and John spent the extra money on the mattress covers to prevent a problem from occurring. Loved having the doc on one side and golf on the other. My husband played every morning! This being mid-Keys is the perfect location with all the stores you may need close by and the beautiful State Parks just West and East of Key Colony. Key Colony is a wonderful, safe community with its own police force. There was 1 thing that could be negative...you have to walk thru the second bedroom from the 1st to get to the living area. However you can go outside and use the entrance to the living area from the 1st bedroom. It was not a big deal for us.
