This condo is located aprox midway between Miami Airport and Key West (60 miles south of the airport and aprox 1.5 hrs to Key West along spectacular US 1, which has open views of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico in many parts)
Less than a mile away is the entrance to The John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the first undersea park in the U.S, encompassing approximately 70 nautical square miles. There you can go swimming, rent boats, kayaks, fish, dive , snorkel, etc.
Next door to the condo complex is a dive resort which has a dive boat making two trips a day out to the reefs off Pennekamp State Park.
Also within walking distance are some fine restaurants for outstanding seafood!

This owner makes it easy and her condo is just right! Our family stayed here in late april and we were instantly at home! The views are terrific (really)and the dock was inviting early morning until late in the evening. We were able to fish, watch manatees,and could walk to a few restaurants and there is also a dive shop next door.A great place to relax or go at your own pace! Mrs. Clarke and family have gone beyond to make their home comfortable and inviting. Everything you need to a create a gourmet meal or simple BBQ is right there. Truly simple to find, quiet yet close to snorkeling and the road south to Key West.Highly recommend stopping at Robbie's in Islamorada to see the tarpon. But guess what? I bet you'd see them from this dock steps away from the condo! -

We really enjoyed our week at the Clarke Condo. The accomodations were excellent and it was convienent to get to attractions that we wanted to see. These were the John Pennecamp State Park, Bird Sanctuary and rehab,as well as spending a day at Key West. We could come back to the complex and enjoy the beautiful heated pool and later in the day the unbelievable sunset. The condo was very clean, the bathroom and more importantly the shower were excellent. The kitchen, tvs' and appliances worked as expected. We would highly recommend this unit as one of best places we have stayed.

The condo was simply delightful. The inviting decor was complemented by the lovely view of swaying palm trees directly outside of the livingroom and the most colorful sunsets we could ever imagine. We will be renting again very soon!

This was a very lovely condo. Although it could use a little updating and thorough cleaning, the view from the living room and master bedroom were outstanding. It's located in a very convenient area of the Keys - close to Miami and within a morning's drive of Key West. The grounds are well maintained. The Tiki Hut at the end of the dock was our favorite viewing spot each evening to watch the beautiful sunsets and the occasional dolphin.

I was very pleased to read that this renter had an enjoyable time and would recommend our condo to other guests. We try to create a comfortable experience for all and have been most fortunate to have had so many wonderful renters throughout the years. Yes, the bathroom does need to be upgraded and it is scheduled to be completely renovated in the early summer. However, I was disconcerted to read that the condo needed a "thorough cleaning". My daughter and I had thoroughly cleaned the condo and had the carpets steam cleaned immediately prior to this renter's arrival. The cleanliness of the condo has been one of our strong selling points and consequently we were surprised by this review.

We were impressed with the spacious accomodation and the overall cleanliness of the apartment and the whole block. Great swimming pool, wireless connection great for the kids notebooks! Travelled all over the keys and to friends in fort lauderdale and it is a very central location. Would recommend to anyone who wants spacious clean accommodation with a good choice of restaurants close by. The sunsets are unbelieveable, i have never seen the sun go down so fat into the sea.

One of my favorite things about staying at the Clarke condo is the magical
time when sundown approaches. The view of the Florida sunset from the
bedroom window is utterly amazing. If you want a week of total relaxation and
enjoyment this is the place to go. You will be so pleased as we were....
