Description from the owner
Only an hour from Miami International Airport is this beautiful home in Key Largo. The house has 3 Bedrooms and three baths. All equiped with Queen size beds. It also has a 90 foot dock into Florida Bay with a chickee at the end to enjoy the breeze and the beautiful sunsets. Two kayaks are available for your enjoyment. Hammocks to hang at the end of the dock. Jacuzzi, a very large Gas BarBQ and a smaller charcoal. You can fish, swimm or just hang out at the end of the dock.

We rented this for a week in early December. We had seven people and the house fit us all perfectly; my husband and I in the top floor master suite, our two sons and their wives in the main floor bedrooms with shared bath and my sister in her own "studio" apt on the first floor with private bath. We didn't feel like we were on top of each other at all.
The chickee at the end of the dock was the hub for the week. We spent hours out there in hammocks and chairs, eating, drinking, swimming, floating in the two person inner tubes and kayaking (two included). We even kayaked next to manatees. What fun! The only drawback was that the boat blocked the view of the sunsets from the chickee though we could stand on the dock or float in the bay to see it.
This was our first trip to the Florida Keys but we are all eager to return. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we could want or need. Mike was very friendly and prompt in our email communications and even gave us a list of where to eat and shop and sight see. Thanks for a great vacation memory!

The house was comfortable and beautiful ! We spent much of our days kayaking and watching the manatees! We enjoyed excellent seafood at the nearby local restaurants and snorkeled at the coral reef! The kids played in the sand and snorkeled in the backyard! We spent Christmas there and we're appreciative of the beautiful and functional kitchen to prepare our family Christmas feast, which we enjoyed outside at the large outdoor table ! We are definetely planning to return!

as a family of 5 we had never been to the keys before and always had a week in clearwater after a week in orlando, this was our first visit and we opted for key largo after trailing the internet for hours. we found this rental and was very impressed with it. mike the owner responded to my email very quick and we set up the rental. booking the house and all other communications with mike was easy. when we arrived wow!!!... lovely kitchen superbly equipped everything you need. fantastic master bedroom and stunning view from balcony!! other 2 bedrooms very nicely decorated and comfortable. tikki at end of peir fantastic we saw dolphins and caught fish.only complaint was bar-b-que run out of gas when we was cooking 30 dollars worth of steaks!!! and also very dark when cooking on bar-b-que after dark. also couldnt find lights to the front steps so a bit risky!! had problems with tv in living room and bedroom as well but all in all trivial problems and would definatly stay at this little peice of paradise again!! thank you mike and jose for sharing your fab home with us 5 stars without a doubt!!!

Our family of 1 couple and three single adults had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental, located in a quiet neighborhood on the 'sound' side of the keys. The house is beautiful and sparkling clean, and the outdoor areas are a great feature. We love to cook, and the kitchen was well stocked and well-equipped. Most nights, we picked up fresh fish from the local fisheries and cooked it on the outdoor grill, and had long relaxing dinners on the second-floor balcony patio or private beach picnic area. The main living area is on the second floor, with two bedrooms that share a bathroom. There is a huge third-floor bedroom with it's own large bathroom and balcony, and a large first-floor bedroom which is not linked to the other parts of the house, but also has its own bath. The private beach faces a sound, which was peaceful and calm for kayaking and snorkeling even when rough seas made it impossible to go fishing or diving on the ocean side of the key. The owners provided good written suggestions for local dining and activities, and there were quite a few places close by. We would recommend this vacation rental without hesitation, and we hope to stay there again if we return to the Keys. We have many lovely memories of this vacation.

My husband and I with 2 other couples stayed in this very fabulous house over New Years. The pictures do not do this house justice!!!
The house is so beautiful and very comfortable. You do not need to bring a thing! We loved the chickee, we spent many hours sitting out there watching the manatees, dolphins, birds, fish, stingrays, starfish,,, etc..
We played with everything. The kayak's were a special treat. The kitchen is awesome, We sat around on the bar stools watching our friends made home made pasta one night. Awesome balcony to watch the sunset everynight was breath taking!

us during our stay there. We can't wait till next year for another great experience. -

My wife and two of our three children planned to spend the week at the house. Our oldest daughter lives three hours away by plane and couldn't get away from work to join us. When we sent her the pictures of the first amazing sunset, she called to let us know she was getting on the plane to join us. Needless to say, our vacation was perfect. The house is comfortable and welcoming. You will find everything you need and more. Since I love to cook, the indoor and outdoor kitchens are fantastic. And of course, the house proximity to the best fresh seafood market makes the stay unbeatable. When we were not eating, we spent most of the time kayacking, swimming, listening to music or reading on the deck. The scenery is unforgettable. We will definitely return to continue to create beautiful memories.
