      Beautiful Vacation Home

Left on 04/02/2013 for a stay in March 2013

What a beautiful home. The pictures truly do not do it justice. My husband and I like to rent a vacation home rather than stay in hotels and this has got to be one of the nicest ones we have stayed in thus far. It was very clean, conveniently located, nicely furnished and the owners, Maria and Leo, were so very helpful and never more than a phone call or email away. There is plenty to do in Key Largo and surrounding areas if that is what one wants to do. Having been to southern Florida and the Keys numerous times, my husband and I preferred to just relax and soak up the beautiful view. And what a view it was. This is one home that we will earmark for future stays.

I felt like I was in paradise!!!

Left on 03/26/2013 for a stay in March 2013

I have come to this vacation home twice and I love it. It has a very large dock where it is easy to park your boat. The house is very comfortable and the owners are never hesitant to help. It is a waterfront property with the most beautiful location. My family and I had the time of our lives and we can't wait to return. I give you two thumbs up for this wonderful vacation home. It is a very wecoming property and the surroundings... marvelous! This was a vacation that my family and I would never forget!!!

      Beautiful Views

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in November 2012

We had a wonderful time at this Key Largo rental. We enjoyed every aspect of the home...but in particular the incredible views from different areas of the house. The house has many windows and balconies from each bedroom so that you can enjoy the views and take in the Florida sun. It is also in a very good location as you are only minutes from Pennekamp State Park. The kids really enjoyed the snorkeling tour we went on which is only a few minutes from the house.

      Beautiful Key Largo Vacation Home

Left on 10/16/2012 for a stay in October 2012

My family of 5 and our dog spent a wonderful week at Maria and Leo's home. This house could not have been more perfect for us. I planned the vacation so when the rest of our party arrived, they could not believe this was the house. We joked all week long that we were rich!

The bedroom were spacious and very comfortable. The views from every angle are spectacular. We have never felt more at home while on vacation. Everything in the house was in great condition and exactly as pictured.

Maria was completely wonderful to deal with in all aspects and very accommodating. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone I know. If we return to Key Largo, I know I will be trying to book this home for our vacation.

This house is also at the perfect location. It seemed everytime we were heading somewhere, we were only a couple of miles away. John Pennekamp State Park is just up the road. Dolphin's Cove was barely down the road. The Publix and Kmart are conveniently located and the house is fully equipped for any cooking you may want to do.

Thank you so much to Maria and Leo for opening their beautiful home to us!

      Great Vacation!

Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We arrived at the house only to be blown away by its size. It is a lot bigger in person! The house is well stocked in terms of appliances, towels, beach chairs and such. During the week we found we liked the upper level outdoor patio for eating as the views are awesome. Even though it's summer in the keys, we found the afternoon sea breeze to be nice and kept the temps moderated during the week. There are ceiling fans everywhere as well. There is plenty of sleeping space for all. The master bedroom was very nice and very private. I loved the open shower - huge!
We rented Kayaks for the week from Florida Bay Outfitters. We took a ½ day snorkel tour out of Pennekamp park. We fed the Tarpon at Robbie's Marina in Islamorada. We took day trips to the beach at Miami Beach, and for the keys feel - Bahia Honda State Park Restaurants I would recommend - Alabama Jacks, The Hungry Tarpon - next to Robbie's Marina, Tower Pizza for Pizza night, and The Pilot House Marina and grill
as far as gift shops - We really liked the people at Florida Keys Gift Company. We also liked both locations of Shellworld. We had a great vacation. The house is everything we hoped it would be - and more. This is like renting a million dollar property - not a bungalow. The property is well kept, the house is immaculate, and Maria was excellent to deal with.
Maria and family have done an excellent job decorating and making the house very livable - to the point like you feel like you are in your own private beach home. My family tried out the games, the hammocks, hot tub - and had fun. I highly recommend the experience to any family considering a rental in the Florida Keys.

      Clean and comfortable

Left on 02/20/2012 for a stay in February 2012

Maria and Leo's home is everything they say it is. It is the nicest house on the block. Interior and exterior are immaculate. Beds and baths are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked although we only cooked shrimp appetizers and had breakfast at home once.

We were three couples which the house accommodates easily. It rained most of our stay, but we still enjoyed the week. We used the covered areas when it rained. The hot tub was fun. We enjoyed many of the area restaurants selecting a different one for every meal. (except twice to Mandalay Oceanfront and Doc's Diner)

Highlights: Everglades trip, airboat ride, glass bottom boat tour of the Molasses coral reef, trip to Key West and tour. Kayaking was on our list, but postponed for another trip because of rain.

Top Restaurants: Fish House for dinner(pan sauteed yellow tail snapper, excellent vegetable sides), Mandalay Oceanfront Grill for lunch(Mahi Reuben, seasoned fries and generous wine pour for $5), Doc's Diner for breakfast (it's all good)

We had a great week and would recommend Maria and Leo's home to everyone.

Beautiful and Peaceful Home in Key Largo

Left on 01/29/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas break at the house. Very peaceful, the weather was terrific and the house was an instant hit with the family and soon became home from home. In terms of location the house overlooks the state park and the sun rises are spectacular. Coming from the UK early mornings were a feature at the start of our stay. We enjoyed both the local restaurants (fish excellent), cooking on the BBQ and the well equipped kitchen. Local shops are limited, but the Miami malls are an hour a way and very quiet. Our teenage children found all their shopping needs catered for. Local Publix store (2 miles) has all food needs. We visited many of the local sights, Bahia Honda was our favourite, Key West (2 hr drive) was thoroughly worthwhile and we hired kayaks and a 21ft boat locally for the day, to explore further the local park and the bayside waters. We were lucky enough to have 4 dolphins play by the boat for 10 minutes, which made the day. We spent several evenings at the Bayside grill. Very local, friendly and good entertainment. Sunsets from this side of Key Largo are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Owners were always contactable and the house absolutely made our trip to Key Largo memorable. Many thanks to Maria and Leo.

      Exceptional Experience

Left on 09/28/2011 for a stay in March 2011

My young adult children, my husband, his parents, and I stayed in this immaculate home in March 2011. The views are fantastic. The furnishings are fantastic. Maria and Leo are fantastic. We fished, boated, and kayaked right off our personal dock into the John Pennycamp mangroves. I believe we paid a fair price, and that is a tremendous compliment considering what we have been charged for other places in Key Largo that weren't as nice. The location is most convenient to everything we wanted to experience. There is only one thing that is an issue that might limit my recommending this property to anyone and everyone; you must be able to climb stairs to stay here. My husband's 80-year-old parents managed okay, but my mother would not be able to make it up and down the stairs. That being said, you can't ask for a better home to rent.

Awesome & Relaxing Vacation in the Florida Keys

Left on 09/27/2011 for a stay in September 2011

This house is a great place to stay. The house is nicely furnished and has spectacular views. The master bedroom is very spacious and has a balcony so that you can enjoy the beautiful views and the peace and tranquility. We truly enjoyed fishing off the dock (We were even able to make a fish fry with the fish my son and husband caught off the dock). There is a terrace on the second floor that is great for having breakfast while enjoying the outdoors. The property is close to Pennekamp State Park and many activities such as fishing, kayaking and snorkeling. We decided to go snorkeling on the Sundiver III. It was excellent and we definitely recommend it even for kids. My 10 year old loved the beauty of all of the fish and corals. After a day of boating and snorkeling it was nice to come back to a comfortable, spacious and very clean home. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the Florida Keys.
