It was a nice clean condo. Lovely decor. Had a nice big balcony. Needed an patio umbrella, so you could sit outside and not be fried. Too bad it rained the 2nd night and through the next day. Had planned to use the pool which looked lovely but it was thundering and raining. It was a good location to be.We liked the secured parking spot. Used the car once while there.
The two bathrooms off the bedrooms were great,(especially the big rain shower head). We enjoyed our stay there. -

We Love going to Key West. We go every year 2 to 3X. We always stay at the same place but this year we decided to change things up. We like staying in homes because it is more cost effective and makes it feel a little like home instead of a hotel room. Cost effective because you can just cook in and drink in. We live in Fort Lauderdale so we pack our car with food and most importantly, this is Key West, booze! Anyway, for the first time and not the last we decided to use Key West Vacation Rentals. We stayed in Casa Cubana and from check in to check out it was a pleasure. This place was spot less. Not a speck of dust anywhere. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy. I actually enjoyed staying in. This unit has 2 floors with a ½ bath on the first floor and 2 bathrooms upstairs. We went with another couple and there was plenty of room. There are doors in the living room and the bed room that open up to a nice porch with table and chairs. Also it was plenty big. The aC worked great as I like to have the doors open and it did not get to hot inside at all.
There is also parking in a garage for you. This is indoor parking and it was safe and clean (not at all like a previous review stated).
This place is located at where we always eat breakfast in Duval Square. Right downstairs is a restaurant called New York Pasta garden and you can have a full breakfast with eggs toast and meat for no more then $5.00. Oh and they make the most amazing bloody marys as well as other delicious drinks for $2.50. Yes I know it’s breakfast, but it’s also Key West and you are allowed to drink at 10 am or even 9am.
Ok so not everything is perfect so here is the down side because I know you want to know. The porch overlooks a parking lot in this unit. However it’s not a big deal unless you look over the edge. The pool looks much bigger in the picture then in person. It’s actually very small. During our stay it seems that they were working on the pool area because it had hazard yellow tape around. This was no big deal to us because we hardly use a pool in key west. Also, if they have not done so already, they should put some plants in the areas that have what seems to be empty space all around, almost like an empty pond or maybe drainage areas. It would be a nice touch. This is a minor downside and should not deter anyone from staying here. This place is great.
What you see in the pictures is exactly how this place looks.
I would stay here again for sure.
I hope Key West Vacation Rentals reads this as they really do take good care of their properties and deserve to be acknowledged. Since this stay we have gone back and stayed at another one of the places they manage and I have good things to say there also. Craig, we will be seeing you again in June and august. -

When we return to Key West, we will stay here again! The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean. The pictures are a true reflection of the condo. The rental agency was helpful and check in and out was very easy!

Condo was in great condition. We were with a small wedding part and had rented out about 5 units. They were all well equipped and many great times were had in the pool and with the hot tub.

I would highly recommend the Key West Vacation Rentals. It is a great location in the middle of Key West. Easy access to everything we wanted to see and the accomadations were top notch. The staff were very helpful when making reservations and finding excursions that we were looking for. We are planning to return soon.

Our second stay here. It is becoming a family tradition. It's proximity to Duval Street's ativities and being generally peaceful is great. The only negative was lack of communication regarding maid service because we had a pet.
We plan to return next year. -

This was our 3rd time in Key west, and the second "Key West Rental" we used...fabulous both times. We loved Casa Cubana! It was super clean, decorated nicely, open floor plan, great location...the list goes on and on. We stayed with my sister and her husband and we had a wonderful time! The pool is a great way to relax. We spent hours there with cocktails and the sun. It was just a wonderful place to hang out and it is beautiful!

Our visit to Key West was a mixture of highs and lows. Be careful about the cab ride from the airport. It cost us over $40 to travel about 4 miles. Key West Vacation rentals is deceiving from the outside. You arrive in a small shopping mall parking lot and enter through a small door. All the units are on the second level although there is an elevator. The landscaping around the buildings is not well cared for and creates a negative impression. In addition, the parking garage is strewn with old furniture and isn't very clean. However, the units themselves were wonderful inside. Air conditioning worked well which is a must in August. Rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff were approachable and made arrangements for any activity we were interested in. Key West Vacation Rentals is just off Duval Street, the main center of activity for Key West at night. However, it is at the opposite end of Duval Street from the majority of the activity, Not a bad walk if you are comfortable with that as Duval Street is only about two miles long. Renting a car is an asset as many things are not walking distance but finding parking on the island can be challenging. Key West Vacation Rentals does supply you with a space in the covered secured garage. The pool is small and only about four feet deep. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and relax when you are done for the day this more than meets the need. If you need activities and want to feel pampered this might not be what you are looking for.

Ants, sugar ants. They spray, but they need to put the bait. Cannot leave ANYTHING out. When you complain the management just says they are all over the island. I have stayed many other places and this is not so. They just don't care and are not about to deal with it.

Casa Cubana was just perfect for us. We have stayed in the same complex before and enjoyed it so we wanted the same area. The unit is nicely furnished and so pleasant to come into after a really hot day on Duval Street to cool off and rest up for the evenings. It is just steps away from Duval. There are a couple of really enjoyable restaurants right close by as well as a convenient store if you need something. I absolutely recommend staying there. My husband and I try to get to Key West for a few days every year and I would be staying there myself, if available. Unfortunately we will have to miss this year, due to our family suffering a great loss, but look forward to staying there again.
