WisconsinPerfect location. Nice little retreat in Key West.
Left on 07/03/2012 for a stay in June 2012
While the building is a little dated, it was exactly what we hoped for from a rental in Key West. Only a few blocks off the middle of Duvall St, we were rarely too far to walk to our destination. Parking is an issue everywhere, and this was no exception, but we made do. If you can't find a spot there is open parking on streets about three blocks to the East. We checked in after hours and the key was set out in a lock box at the property management office a few blocks away - not a problem at all.

It is a lovely spot not far off Duval and the grounds are great- pool is awesome. But, the walls are very thin and people in the common areas between the cottages sound like they are in your room. There was also a boat parked in the lot so we were not able to park.

Ive stayed with Key West Vacation Rentals 3 seperate times and each time is better and better! The only down side was on this past trip.Very minor but I felt it was a big let down. I booked 4 nights and figured I would bring some food to cook just incase I wasn't feeling up to going out. So I called and asked if the rooms had stoves or pots/pans etc. The man who answered said that every room had those amenities. So I brought bacon, eggs, sausage etc. it must have taken 30+ mins to heat up the pan and than another 25+ to cook eggs!!! I was a little upset but considering everything else about this rental is a+! I highly recommend staying here! I've stayed at Romantic Retreat, Starr Suite and the Oceania. Oceania was my favorite hands down!
Thanks Kwvr -

The service was flawless. I have used Key West Vacation Rentals before, Craig and entire staff where great. Checking in after a long travel day was a breeze. The home was bright, clean, and all we hoped it would be, stocked with anything you would possibly need. Great location, short walk or bike to all attractions. Will miss lounging in the pool the most.

Oceania Suite on Oliva Street is perfect for a small family wishing to get a taste of real life in Key West. A few blocks off Duval Street, but right near Seven Fish Restaurant and the Oliva Street Grocery, extremley well located to all the action. Sensationally comfortable bed and fold out bed, great kitchen with all requirements and lovely communal pool area. Parking is a real issue though, bring your lucky pennies. All attractions are within walkable distance. Very charming accommodation complext in great location.

this is the third time that we have visited this same spot in the past three years ( have stayed at the verde suite in the same complex same owners) and every time is better than the last ,. the landscaping is better and better and the pool is great. you can walk to everything and enjoy peace and quite with being just far enough away to relax. would never stay anywhere else as long as things stay the same.

Left on 07/05/2009 for a stay in March 2009
The location for Oceania Suite is very convenient. Great spot to work from. I thought the place was in need of attention. The gardens were poorly kept, the pool furniture was worn out, the little pond was dirty. The condo was clean, but also needed some sprucing up. All in all ... just OK.

The Oceania Suite was a wonderful surprise for my wife and me. The decor was tasteful, the suite was clean, and the location was perfect. Originally we wanted to be closer to Duvall, but we wouldn't have changed a thing. The pool was lovely, and despite several of the other units being occupied, we weren't disturbed at all. It was an easy walk to everything, and away from it all when we were tired of all the action. My only complaint was that the hot water didn't last very long, but even that was minor. My wife says her favorite part of Key West in general was, all the crazy chickens everywhere.

Left on 07/03/2009 for a stay in December 2008
Key West is always a great place to vacation.Unfortunately Oceania Suite was not a real good experience. It was very nicely furnished, but did not feel safe in this unit. There were bars on the windows and signs on door warning to keep doors locked at all times. The deck was a mess with droppings from trees, which we would have swept, but no broom. We were not allowed to park in the ample parking spaces inside the gate due to a dispute between owners. There was only 1 car in the parking lot while we were there, leaving plenty of spots for "WHO".We will continue to visit Key West frequently, but will not use this rental company again. Sondra Reid.

We enjoyed our trip to Key West and the Oceania Suite was as promoted. It was close enough to walk to most areas of Key West and allowed us a central location to see all the sites. The rental reps were great to work with and made our stay enjoyable. This was a well kept, clean environment to enjoy our stay in. The cleaning ladies were prompt and did a very nice job. The only thing we did not care for was the parking situation. Overall, we would stay here again.

Left on 06/29/2009 for a stay in July 2008
We went to Key West for our first time to attend our son's wedding. Six of us wanted to be together and my sister proposed staying at Casa Serendipity which could accomodate all of us. It was love at first sight - exactly the kind of house I would want to own if I lived in Key West. It was clean, convenient and perfect in every way. The pool was great for other wedding guests to drop in for a dip and we even hosted the Sunday brunch without being crowded inside and out. Now if only my daughter will opt for a destination wedding?!

Left on 06/29/2009 for a stay in June 2009
Oceania suite is in the midst of a residential area. I preferred it very much to a
hotel as you could walk through the neighborhoods and get a sense of what
Key West used to be. The suite is beautiful and contains everything you might
need. The open ceiling gives a feeling of airy spaciousness. The pool is just
out the door. You can walk to everything.
Check in and out was very easy and friendly. It was also easy to find parking
on the street--usually right in front of the Suite. I had a wonderful time and
would stay in the same place on returning to Key West. -

We've stayed in the Oceania Suite the past two years. We found the unit to be very clean and the location is perfect for us. We could get every where we wanted to be on foot. We've also found the staff at Key West Vacation Rentals to be very friendly and accomodating. We will use them next year!

Left on 06/28/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We enjoyed being able to experience the true Key West neighborhood experience. The facilities were very nice, clean and quiet. The pool area was refreshing to cool off after a very warm day.
Parking is a problem and unless needing a car for other touring outside of Key West would recommend a taxi for getting back to the airport.

Left on 06/27/2009 for a stay in February 2008
We chose this suite because it has high ceilings and an airy feel. There is also a deck and pool right outside the door. We wanted enough room to have friends over, and the Oceania Suite provided that both indoors and out. The Suite is a little worn but attractive.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got to this cottage for our first leg of our trip to Key West last December for our daughter's wedding. The cottage was perfect! Quaint, quiet, clean and not far from anywhere we needed to walk to! There was ample parking, the pool was warm and the size was perfect for my husband, my ten year old and myself. It was a nice place for everything to meet before the wedding and I could sit on the deck and watch my daughter swim. The people at Key West Vacation Rentals were also very helpful.

Left on 06/24/2009 for a stay in January 2007
The Oceania Suite is a well maintained and equipped retreat from the Key West street scene. It is tucked back in a private courtyard that offers relaxation and seclusion. It's in easy walking distance of virtually everything to do and see in old Key West, and there are some excellent nearby neighborhood restaurants frequented mostly by locals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Key West Rentals does a great management job.

Left on 06/24/2009 for a stay in June 2009
They say you can't 'go home' so as we planned our second visit with the hopes that the first could be duplicated, I hesitated. Yet, we were far from disappointed and were able to confirm that this is our favorite place in KW. Clean, contemporary furnishings that, altho some are showing wear, have the feel of home and are quite comfortable. The deck outside the french doors is enclosed in a lattice (lockable) gate, affording privacy with a tropical feel. The clean, blue tiled pool is literally 5 steps off of the Oceania's deck and we had it to ourselves each time we chose to swim. At 3 blocks off of Duval and two blocks off of Truman, it's the perfect location. Bikes were delivered to our door and we were able to store them on the locked deck without concern. The foliage around the pool is lush, although in need of a trim. It's a quiet place with a killer air conditioning system and a kitchen equipped with all of the essentials for temporary tenents. KW Vacation Rentals is great to deal with - quick and friendly reservations and check in. It was recommended by KW Vacation Rentals that we not park in the small parking area on the property because of current (and confusing) HOA politics, but we did anyway without incident. I am a seasoned traveler and ex-travel agent and so have stayed in some very coveted accommodations around the world. Although I'd not equate the Oceania with the luxury of the Hyatt or Ocean Key, if you prefer privacy to the masses, a short stroll to being on the main drag, the feel of leaving the craziness behind for a peaceful courtyard, and in-room amenities that exceed a hotel room, the Oceania is the place for a great time in KW!

This was the perfect set up for a small family with young children. Kids slept on the pull out couch after making them a quick dinner in the kitchen. While they slept, we enjoyed a bottle of wine and fantastic take out on the porch from many of the local restaurants, one of which is a stone's throw away. Set right in the historic district without the noise, and having the pool there was terrific. We hope to vacation again there soon!
