St. Petersburg, FLExcellent vacation unit
Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed at Ospreys Nest last year and had a wonderful time, but we really enjoyed the upgrades this year. There's a new front porch, newly upholstered living room chair, and the most comfortable new pillow top mattress. Our friends stayed on the sleeper sofa and said that the new mattress was comfy (and sleeper sofas are never comfy). We appreciate that the owners keep this place so nice and definitely will return again next year.

Left on 08/28/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Thanks Key West Vacations for recommending Ospreys Nest to me.  My husband and I were extremely pleased with all of the amenities and the attention to detail.  Central location (no more than a 15 minute walk from beach, harbor or Duval St. - bike rental around corner), very clean, large bedroom and huge shower (with great water pressure).  Having a front porch and back deck was a luxury, especially with the private spa on the deck.  Earlier review said tv was limited, but we found it loaded with channels, no prob.  Good value considering all the amenities and condition.  Will return next year.

My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend for a destination wedding. The place was perfect for us, although I wish we had more time to enjoy the place. It is spacious, was clean and the a/C was working great. Huge shower and was so nice to have a kitchen. Terri was so helpful, polite and courteous answering all my questions leading up to our stay. We would definitely return to Osprey's Nest.

FloridaGood value, cute rental, a little far from Duval
Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in July 2012
This vacation rental is very cute. It's relatively immaculately kept. Very clean and modern. actually has two decks - one in the back, one in the front and a small jaccuzzi. It's about a 20 minute walk from downtown, so it's a bit of a hike, but completely doable. Minimal cable channels, but impressively stocked kitchen.
We did have one issue with the ice maker making a lot of noise during the night, even when turned off. There were four of us, so two had to sleep in the living room. We called the rental on our second day and asked them to correct the issue, which they did not. However, since we were only there one more night, we just unplugged the fridge at night. However, if they're going to charge extra for more than 2 people. despite the fact that the listing says it can sleep 4, they need to do a better job of being on top of things.
All things considered, I would stay here again. -

KinnelonExcellent experience
Left on 04/02/2012 for a stay in February 2012
This unit enabled us enjoy Key West more like a local instead of a tourist. It's located in the Historic District which is much quieter and prettier than the tourist areas (about 5 blocks from Duval Street and the same from the Harbor area). Local art galleries and excellent cuban food enriched our experience. Liked the convenience of the Faustos grocery store and great homemade ice cream 2 blocks away. Bike rental around the corner was convenient and gave us easy access to the entire island.
Clean and comfortable, the unit offered everything we needed. Started every day with breakfast behind the privacy of palm fronds on the front porch and ended each evening with drinks in our private jacuzzi on the back deck. Not enough time to sample the pool, but seemed nice. Great water pressure in the oversized shower. -

Left on 11/17/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We stayed 4 nights last week...Loved every inch of the accommodations! The pool was wonderful, the hot tub was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed. My sister and her husband joined us and we had a blast in Key West. Lastly, the staff was friendly and accommodating. They even called a taxi for us when we were leaving the office. We couldn't have asked for a better place. It's an upstairs unit, but it's nestled in the trees and very private.

Left on 08/21/2011 for a stay in June 2010
Stayed five nights in June 2010 and at the sister unit Heron Hideaway in December. They are beautiful apartments with a very private pool and patio area out back. Walking distance to Duval is a bit far in the heat of summer but it's a quiet area with plenty of street parking. Beds are comfortable, kitchens are well equipped and private porches with hot tubs are great. We will definitely visit again and would likely stay in these units.

Left on 05/21/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We checked into the Osprey's Nest for our honeymoon for 5 days. It was very clean, modern, well appointed and well stocked, nicely decorated and comfortable. It was about 1/2 the size of our 2 bedroom apartment at home so it was just perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and was the perfect size for preparing small meals and drinks. The shower was huge with great water pressure. I loved that there were two porches; one the the front for people watching, one in the back (with a jacuzzi) for privacy. The jacuzzi was a huge plus at the end of a long day. There is a stacked washer/dryer in the closet across from the bathroom, this was fantastic because we didn't come home with tons of dirty laundry. Also, the a/c is super cold.
The location was very quiet and private, considered "Cuba Town" that sit between old town and new town. We were amongst locals, the closest bar to us was several blocks away... this could be a good thing and a bad thing. It's about a 15 minute walk to Higgs Beach, 20ish minute walk to Duval Street. Rent bikes and it's not a problem until you get to the more congested areas like lower Duval and then it's nearly impossible to ride a bike anyway. There is a bike shop a street or so over, also two convenience stores that are literally a minute walk, as well as a few local cafes and a gourmet grocery store.
The unit itself is definitely a great little gem but be prepared to find more creative ways to get around if you don't have a car! -

We have stayed in several other rental condos in Key West, but this was the best one ever. A large, bright, immaculate unit, it had everything we could possibly have needed. There's a charming porch overlooking the street, beautifully shaded by a large palm tree, a rear deck with an awning and a very private double jacuzzi, as well as a spa pool and barbecue in the backyard. The outside is as nicely landscaped as the inside is beautifully decorated. We will definitely return and plan on referring our friends.

We called Key West Vacation Rentals and asked for a spacious, modern, very clean, vacation rental. What they gave us was so much more! Upon entering Ospreys Nest, we were thrilled to find a beautifully decorated unit, totally modern but with the original charm in tact. And very clean! There was a full kitchen with everything we needed, a charming front porch. The double walk-in shower and the jacuzzi on the deck were total luxuries. Our friends joined us also in the heated spa pool and we enjoyed a lovely barbecue in the beautifully landscaped and private rear yard.
We rented bikes around the corner, walked a block to the grocery store and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely return to Ospreys Nest -

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Ospreys Nest. Being centrally located, with a short walk or bike ride, we could go to the Harbor area, Duval Street or Higgs and Smathers Beach within minutes! This unit is large, bright, very clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the front and rear decks and of course the jacuzzi and spa pool. The double shower was very romantic. We cooked and barbecued a few times and the kitchen is well stocked. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning as soon as we can!

Left on 01/28/2011 for a stay in January 2011
My husband and I recently travelled to Key West with our daughter and stayed at the Osprey's Nest Unit @ Center Court Historic Inn & Cottages.
We loved the location - not to close, but not too far away from all the action. It didn't take very long at all to walk to Duval Street or the other attractions at all!
The unit was clean, bright, airy - full of windows and charm. I especially loved the historic elements of the building - the pine board walls, and the way in which it was modernized but preserved those elements.
All the comforts of home were available (wifi, cable, full kitchen, bbq, pool, washer/dryer) with the little luxeries (front porch & back deck, jacquizzi, pool), making this a great place for us to stay as a family.
We will definately be returning! -

I usually purchase trips in combination via expedia, orbitz, etc, but this trip I searched the internet and found the most perfect deal! Key West Vacation Rentals was the easiest, friendliest and most professional rental company I have used. Brenda from KWR was amazing! Not only did she aid us in setting up Sunset Wine Tasting Sailing and a trip to Dry Tortugas Nat'l Park, she monitored the weather for our stay and offered us a chance to change dates for both trips. This was super courteous and unexpected and made both trips fabulous! The condo was like home, not far from anything and peaceful at the end of each fun packed day! The outdoor hottub was amazing and breakfast on the back patio was delightful. Kudos for such a great trip!! Thanks Key West Vacation Rentals!!

The Opsrey Nest was a wonderful place. The one bedroom was plenty big enough for the two of us and three dogs. I loved to full kitchen, huge walkin shower, nice front deck, and the huge back deck with hot tub. We brought along our bikes which was a nice way to travel and there was a bike rack onsite to lock up the bikes at night. The only recommendation I would make would be for the owners to make a small area onsite for the dogs to use the bathroom. There literally is a 3'x3' area in the landscaping for them to do there business but thats it. The city park is a two block walk and we enjoyed taking the dogs to the dog park everyday about 3/4 miles. Overall a great place and we would love to return to the Osprey Nest.

Great place, great location, amazing hot tub with view of the stars, charming property, walking distance to all activities (shorter with bike rental), super easy to check in. The only complaint was that the couch wasn't too comfortable, but that wasn't even a big problem. Finally, getting the lower rate on this property made it the deal of the year! Can't wait to stay there again! Did I mention hot tub and fantastic porch?

Very nicely appointed apartment with a small pool in back in an old Key West home. A balcony with a hot tub was another plus. Parking, however, was a bit of a challenge. Also would have been nice if there were some coffee packets so we didn't have to run out first thing in the morning to look for coffee.

Left on 07/17/2009 for a stay in May 2008
Me and my Fiance rented at Osprey's planning to spend our PREhoneymoon (before getting married) in the keys at a romantic but cozy place. We were very impressed with how beautiful and clean the home was. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. And of course the outside wood deck with hot tub on the second floor with the curtain on the side of home for privacy was amazing especially at night when you can see the sky from the hot tub. We really had an unforgettable time. We decided to rent scooter near by and leave car parked in front of home. Everything was close by and of course Duval St is full of fun. My fiance passed away about 4 months ago never had the chance to get married..I just turned 30yrs old he was 31yrs old...The keys and Ospreys is a place that i spent the best time of my life with him and I dont regret Ospreys being the place I can now look back at and remember I spent a beautiful, amazing time with my soulmate there. He was a beautiful soul who loved life and taught me the importance of taking time out of our busy lives to take vacations and make memories.I hope all that decide to stay there can also have an amazing time and make the most out of your stay like we were fortunate enough to share before him leaving to a better place (HEAVEN). May God bless you all and never loose your love, hope or faith in JESUS in all things and seasons..with love Elaine from Miami, FL.

We really enjoyed our stay at the "Osprey's Nest"
condo we rented. It was a short walk down to most all the places we visited while staying there. For us it was the perfect location. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because we could have used a 2nd bathroom, we had 2 twenty two year old girls with us. My husband and I didn't know they could spend some much time getting ready everyday. The service to clean the room did a fantastic job everyday. It had a nice kitchen so we were able to have some meals at the condo along with our morning coffee on the balcony.
The hot tub was also a great way to relax at the end of the day. -

We enjoyed this Inn. The condo was newly renovated; modern and clean. Though it was a very dry season the sand mites became of bother. A quick scooter ride to Home Depot for bug spray did the trick! Don't let that sway your decision here; it was everyone's problem on the island! We will definately return Center Court. There was ample room for the 2 of us. And it had all the right accomodations - impressive for Key West where every place is small. The little hot tub was perfect for 2. I imagine that 2 more could even stay in the place comfortably. The kitchen was perfect and we appreciated the washer/dryer so that we could wash our swimwear and new clothes that were bought while staying there.

My husband, 10 yr old son and I stayed at the Osprey's Nest for 5 nights. What worked for us was the apartment style set up with the full kitchen giving us the ability to cook some meals. The furnishings and accomodations were very nice, and it was very quiet. The only negative aspects were the lack of a pool(the advertised pool is very small and it was hot tub temp, not for cooling off!)but we were given access to a family pool at another rental site within walking distance. The only other problem we had was that the diswasher was not working when we arrived. A replacement diswasher was immediately brought over but not properly installed. As a result we had to hand wash all of our dishes. Over all a good experience, we had stayed at a hotel on a previous visit to Key West. The staff at the rental office was very helpful and accomodating. Keep in mind that this property is a looong walk to Mallory Square.
