We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Quiet location, great pool and hot tub and a short drive to downtown. Very nice and professional staff. Nice having a private bathroom for each bedroom. Will book again next year.

We first stayed at Sunrise Suites when the condos were new. This was my first time back for few years. I thought that the general building was dirty. It looked like it needs to be power washed. The condo we stayed in has not had anything done to it since it was built. The grout in the kitchen and living room area was very dirty. The safe did not work. The codo needs remodeling. The price to stay at Sunrise is very reasonable, but if the condos are not maintained, not even the price will bring in business.
Booked the Sunrise Suites for 1 week to my husband and I and our son, his wife and 2 boys age 8 and 3. We were very happy with the unit, facing towards the pool. Very comfortable and well equiped except for the pull out couch in the LR which needs to be replaced.

We are glad that we located Sunrise Suites, since for the same cost of a hotel in the area, we obtained a 2 bedroom with a Kitchen and living room and balcony suite. We save lots of money by eating in rather than going out for all meals, and the pool was great. There was a peeling bit of plaster, yet this did not stop us from having an overall great time and we are looking forward to returning in October 2011 to enjoy the property again.
although the condo appeared to be clean it was not there was a d

this was my second time staying at Sunrise suites so obviously I enjoyed my first stay there. Along with other information on a sheet of paper we were fiven there were parking space numbers we were not to supposed to park in becausue these spaces were owned or leased by individual property owners. The first night - no problem, after we had dinner with the couple we shared the condo with the other couple parked in space #159. We pulled in on our motorcycle a few minutes later and parked next to them. We all went to bed about 11:00 and at 1:30 in the morning woke up to hearing a truck making noise outside. To our surprise there was a towing company in process of draging our motorcycles up on to the back of the truck and had one loaded already. We imediately went down stairs and were told that the owner of #159 called them to tow our motor cycles. It cost us $300.00 on the spot to get them back. I realise that it would be fustrating to have this ocassionaly happen but a simple note on the windshield would have done the job. There was no idenification on this parking bay, or of the 4 or 5 others indicating that this was private parking and not to park here. There should have been lettering on the parking block or the side of the bay. Had there been this surely would not have happened. Being in the sign business I know that this is a cheap remedy to the problem. For this reason I hold Sunrise Suites resorts responsible for the costs we incurred. The employee at the office was calm and understanding and said that the manager was going to contact me about this. I received a phone call the day after we left saying the manager was going to call me. So far that has not happened. If I don't hear from her within the next day or two I will be calling her.
Condo was fine. Would return if it was located anywhere but Ke

On Sunday I parked at the PO close to fleming st to see the art exhibits. Note that this was a sunday at a public facility during non-business hours...unless you wanted to buy stamps from the machine......our car was therre for 2 hours and we along with several out of staters were towed. cost us $185 to get our car back. I can understand this result if it were during a business day but on Sunday???? Key West sucks and our group of 11 people will never visit Key west again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The property was relatively well maintained, except the room was dated, the beds were really hard and the couch was uncomfortable. We stayed in 403 and the TV's were new and easy to work. The view was great. Might stay there in the future if we have the family with us. It was great having two bedrooms and TWO bathrooms....
This location is perfect! I've been returning to this location for the past 3 years. I enjoy the location cause it enables me to explore what Key West has to offer. The rooms are extremely spacious...and the full kitchen is a big plus! The pool is always clean and relaxing as well as the jacuzzi. Very safe area with ample parking. There is also a small convenience store close to the entrance for drinks, snacks, ice, etc. It's about a 5 min drive to Duval Street. Plenty of shopping and eateries within minutes of the hotel. Would definitely recommend!! Can't wait til next year!

It was an excellent facility. My wife and I were just married on Smather's Beach in Key West and during the planning process we were looking for affordable condo-esque rooms that could fit a substantial amount of people. We ran into the Sunrise and thought it was too good to be true. 2 bed/bath/fully stocked kitchen that was cheaper than most single hotel rooms on the island...There must be a catch. Absolutely not. They were super clean, televisions in every room, quiet, and extremely private. The one negative: that it is on the opposite end of the island so a car rental, bike/moped rental, or continual taxi service is needed. With all that said, we had 10 rooms booked for our party and everyone ranted and raved about it.

We think this place is a great deal for the money. It is cheaper than the majority of motel rooms on Key West. It is nice to have the extra space of what is essentially a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We were very pleased with these accommodations and would stay here again. The location is at the opposite end of the historical part of the island. This can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking to do. Parking in the historical district was $20.00 per day. You pretty much need a car if you stay at the Sunrise, unless you want to depend on the city bus.
It was my second time staying in Sunrise Suites Resort. I think it's great place for family vacation. The management is nice, the apartments are clean. I like the location because it's quite, away from the crowd, great area for jogging and walking, close to the beach, has tennis court and swimming pool.
