Paradise Place suited the needs of my family, however, we did have some issues that we did not feel were appropriately addressed by at Home In Key West.

The condo was clean, good size, and fully stocked (i.e. linens, towels, kitchen equipment & necessary supplies. Oh yes, and two large Tv's (we like to watch the news). Wish it was located a little closer to Duval..Otherwise you will need to rent a bike or a scooter. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the people passing by. We needed an alarm clock & after we requested a clock, a clock was delivered almost immediately. They have their service down to a science. Great Experience!

We travel to Key West many times a year and always stay somewhere new to learn the island. This unit was very clean, but on the small side. The street and traffic was busy during the day, but nice and quiet at night. We rented bikes so the distance from Duvall wasn't a problem, but if this was our first time in Key West, it isn't the ideal location.

The unit was very clean, comfortable and centrally located. Parking was never an issue. The kitchen is well equipped. King sized bed and pillows very comfortable.Washing machine/dryer great for all those sandy towels etc.The front porch is nice for early mornings and late evenings otherwise very busy with buses going by and traffic at peak hours.Two small things bothered me. There is no place to unpack your clothes. We moved all the towels in the bedroom closet to make space. The pool area foliage is overgrown preventing any sunshine and making the pool consistently dirty. We did not use it. Otherwise could have easily stayed another month!

Paradise Place is prefect for a 2 person vacation but no room for more. A bit over priced in my opinion. Front door locks do not seem very secure. Would like confirmation that they launder the blankets, comforter and guest robes in addition to the sheets between guests as the existing stacked unit will not accommodate blankets etc. I appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella in the bedroom closet. Nice touch. The pool area and surrounding outdoor space needed to be cleaned. Before you visit, remember to pack food staples that cannot be fully consumed in one week e.g. spices, coffee, oil etc.

When I reserve a rental property online, I always expect the pictures and online description to be better than the property. This property was exactly as described online. Paradise Place is a wonderful, relaxing, single level property with easy access to everything. The property was clean when we arrived and our stay was wonderful

Spent Thanksgiving week-end at Paradise Place in Key West with my husband and our dog. We chose this spot based on their pets allowed policy as well as the infrastructure of having our own little apt. We liked the place, it was immaculately clean, had a great well stocked kitchen, the laundry en suite was a bonus, too. The street can be busy at times, but at night it was quiet and peaceful. The front porch was a great spot to sit outside and eat our breakfast. I really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere n Key West from our location. We were in a neighbourhood of charming Key West historic houses, so we spent many happy hours dreaming of which one would someday be ours as we walked through these beautiful neighbourhoods. Key West has it's own magic and it was a special treat to enjoy it from our own home base, rather than being in a hotel. The only negative was that our front door of our apt. on the inside, looked in rough shape, as though it had been either kicked in or someone had tried to break in. A metal plate had been put on on the outside of the door and there were double locks, so we felt secure. The interior door needs to be repaired, as there were cracks/splinters and it was a bit alarming to look at. Aside from this little hiccup, it was easy to get access through the rental company. Gail, the manager, is extremely helpful and communicative and made certain we had all of the information we needed to get into our rental unit on a holiday week-end, when their office would be closed. All in all, I would recommend Paradise Place and would definitely consider staying there on my next Key West vacation. Thanks at Home In Key West for making our stay so comfortable.

The house was very comfortable and the furnishings were in like new condition. Everything was very clean and well placed.The location was perfect to enjoy Duval str. ,but far enough away so that noise was not a problem.Everything you needed was within walking distance and to our surprise parking was available in front of the unit. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

The house looked exactly like the pictures on-line. The house is completely furnished with everything that you will need for your stay. The house is small but it's perfect for a couple. We had a wonderful time on our vacation, the distance to Duvall street is a little bit of a walk but you can rent a bicycle or scooter which will make it much nicer. There is a grocery store just two blocks away from the house so that is extremely nice. The first morning we were at the house our coffee maker did not work, I made one call to the management company and they brought a new one right over. We would definitely stay at this location again.

The Paradise is a lovely place
a little home in Key West, I loved.
It is part of old house, recently renewed.
Everything is new and perfectly clean
The air-conditioning works wonderfully
There is a laundry and drier machine in the house.
Lots of towels and lines.
The manager is responsibly, present and friendly.
They really care about You.

The unit was nice but small. It is on a very busy street which was loud at night, but the front porch was nice to sit on.
The carpet in the master was very dirty...should have been cleaned awhile ago (judging from other comments from people who stayed previous to us). We did find small roaches in the bathroom and reported it to the office.
The location is a bit far from Duval and the downtown area, however, we ended up really enjoying the walks back and forth. We felt like we got to see a bit more of Key West (plus we needed all of the exercise after the great dinners we had...especially at Seven Fish!!!).
I would recommend it for a couple...even though it has a pull out couch, it is tight for more than two. -

Paradise Place is small but fairly well equipped with a comfy bed and reasonable closet space (the carpet is dirty and tired, however which spoils this room a bit), full kitchen and slightly upscale bath with a very nice shower. The front room funriture is minimal, but could easily be improved with a small end table by the couch to hide all the internet wiring, a table and floor lamp to tone down the overhead lighting, which is glaring. a small "ice cream" type table with 2 chairs by the window near the 'fridge would be an added comfort as well. The front porch seating is nice for breakfast but the street is quite busy; on the other hand, you're close to the sidewalk and get to speak to passers by. The small pool in back is a nice added benefit and in terms of privacy it can't be beat. It's little used by the other residents as well, so it's almost like your own dedicated pool space. This unit is a hefty hike from downtown, but the exercise and neat houses along the way make this a good trade off; overall this is a very good value which would be excellent with a few touches.

Paradise Place was OK but lacked furniture to store any cloths. I had to stack
my cloths on the bar & Ann lived out of her suitcase. Other than that we had a
good time & once again thought Sharon really helped us a lot finding a place
for next year. -

The rental company 'At Home in Key West' is good as far as property management companies go. The service was good. I have rented many properties in different locations over the years, and they match up with them.
The house/condo on the other hand was a different story. The property was ok, but it had small TV’s mounted close to the ceiling which weren’t great and a live cockroach in the dishwasher. While I could handle on that, I couldn’t handle the noise. It is on White Street which is a very busy street and the property is 10 feet from the street. The scooter rental business is apparently a very big business in Key West, and unfortunately, this street is inundated with scooters and their little high pitch whine. And finally, the house next door was being worked on so there were power tools running.
We stayed in the property the first night, woke up in the morning and discussed we were going to be able to have relaxing vacation in this property. The answer was ‘no’. We did a little looking on line and found that Westin might have availability. By 2:00 pm Saturday, we were checked into the Westin. We ended up having a great time in Key West, were able to relax, and ended up having a great vacation. It cost me, but my vacation wasn't a total wreck.
I did not contact ‘At Home in Key West’ to complain about the situation, because really what were you all going to do . . . . it isn’t your fault that the street is noisy as all get out. Not sure if during the rental process there should be more questions asked about what kind of experience your rental clients are looking for – perhaps. Obviously, I am not happy about this situation, but not sure what the remedy would have been. I doubt you would have refunded my money. I was already not happy, and didn’t really need to increase my dissatisfaction anymore than it was. Would I rent again from ‘At Home in Key West’? Honestly, no. I don’t think the property selections are what I would be looking for in vacation.
