Our secure building has elevators, full-size heated pool, free boat slip (space permitting), private off-street parking, outdoor grills, fish cleaning station, large balconies, cable TV, CD stereo system, private baths for all bedrooms with hair dryers, all linens (bed, bath & beach) provided, in-room safes, concierge service. Overall, we found Pelican Landing a nice place to stay for our first visit to Key West. Great place if you plan to go fishing on a charter or head boat. A little bit far from the downtown area, so be prepared to walk! We logged over 50 miles by walking everywhere, which was a great way to stay in shape on vacation. Would recommend that rooms have a small fridge to keep drinks or leftovers from eating out. Very quiet place to stay and pool was great to relax in at end of day. Only issue was we found 3 roaches. Booking process was very easy. Staff very nice and informative upon our arrival. Overally, good place to stay if you want to be away from the hectic downtown area, especially on the weekends.

Room was pretty basic- 2 queen beds, bathroom, tv. No fridge or special ammenitites. Staff was friendly, but we rarely saw them. Place was more of a condo rental set-up: your room is not cleaned on a daily basis, although they do bring you clean towels every morning. Room does not have a water view or balcony, although property is on the water. We saw the apartment next door, and that was beautiful! The only major complaint we had was that the pool was filthy! We could not even go in, it was so dirty looking! All in all, a nice place for the price (the Days Inn up the street was more expensive!). Good location, about 1 mile from Duval street. Very quiet, better place for families/older people.

We stayed here 4/8-4/12. The room was just a little smaller than our room at the Holiday Inn at Key Largo. Pelican Landings location was on the edge of a nice area referred to as "the Meadows". Distance was roughly 10-12 blocks east of the middle of Duval Street. Room was basic, old but clean. Could occassionally hear children in the room next door. Beds were just OK . Elevator and stairs access required a key for security but the area seemed safe. We went on several late night walks and scooter trips with no problems. Less pricey by 40-50% than staying closer to Duval.

I was disappointed with the wasn't very nice and would have liked to have had an option of a jacuzzi since pool wasn't heated.
