Come stay at our beautiful waterfront condos. Whether you want a suite for two or a retreat for up to fourteen guests you will enjoy your stay at Pelican Landing. Our secure building has elevators, full-size heated pool, free boat slip (space permitting), private off-street parking, outdoor grills, fish cleaning station, large balconies, cable TV, CD stereo system, private baths for all bedrooms with hair dryers, all linens (bed, bath & beach) provided, in-room safes, concierge service. If you plan on staying at this hotel with a large group of people, this is not the place to stay. The night manager is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my 25 years as a professional. She was rude and unwilling to assist us with our needs.
The pictures look nice online, but everything in this place is old as dirt. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures were molded and pitted, the white refrigerator is now it is a deep yellow color, the handles were so dirty that I went to publix and purchased a bottle of bleach to sanitize everything down, and it just goes on and on... disgusting! I do not recommend this place, you can find a much better condo for the same amount of money. -

For the location, price and size, Pelican Landing is a good deal. It was very difficult to find a 3 bedroom/3 bath condo, but Pelican Landing had several at a reasonable price.

Nicole's unit is clean and nicely decorated. It offers all you need for a great vacation. Beautiful Marina views from the large balcony and we were luck enough to see and actually pet a Manatee from the boat dock, three times in one week. The location is perfectly suited for someone who wants a beautiful view in a quiet area but within a bike ride or walk to the fun on Duval Street or the fabulous restaurants and activities on the waterfront. The pool was nice and the patio area offered the convenience of a grill and a fish cleaning station.
I would highly recommend Nicole's place. you won't be disappointed and she is very easy to contact and responds quickly.
Bring your bicycles, we never used the car.
I would definitely go there again. -

We really enjoyed the Flaming Retreat! The kitchen is more updated then my own! We had no issues. The location is perfect - only about a 15 minute walk to Duval street and cheap cab fare back. There is a fire station across the street, but I would think staying close to the action would be even louder, so nothing much to complain about. Tammy at the front desk is really nice and helpful too. She even let me use her computer to print off my boarding pass! You never know what you're going to get and I have to say we were very pleased with our stay in the Flamingo Retreat! Our favorite spot when we were actually in the condo was the balcony!

Great stay, great kitchen, very clean and nicely furnished. Tammy is very pleasant and helpful. Quiet location except for a few "sirens". Would definitely stay again.

Pros: The condo was very clean and well taken are of. The staff was very good.
Cons: It is located very near a fire station or emergency medical. A lot of sirens through the night. (Basically the reason I would not recommend to another.)
The washer/dryer did not work, which was one of the reasons the condo was attractive. (On a positive note, the manager was very helpful having our laundry done.)
Things break down but the elevator was out part of our last two days. Had to carry our bags down three flights of stairs. -

WE HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES BEFORE AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED, HOWEVER, THIS TIME, THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE FLOORS WERE SOO MUCH CLEANER. I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE WE HAD A DIFFERENT ROOM THIS TIME. I WENT TO THE OFFICE AND COMPLIMENTED TAMMY ON HOW MUCH BETTER THIS ROOM WAS DUE TO THE FLOORS BEING CLEANER (YOU CAN NOT HELP BUT TRACK IN DUVAL STREET). SHE SAID, THANK YOU FOR NOTICING AS THEY HAD CHANGED THEIR FLOOR CLEANER AND THAT WAS THE REASON. IT'S WORKING!! WE ESPECIALLY LIKE THAT WE CAN TAKE THE BACKROAD OME AT NIGHT BY SCOOTER (OLIVIA) AND AVOID THE TRAFFIC. THAT MAKES THE LOCATION CONVENIENT AND YOU GET A BREAK FROM ALL THE HYPE AND CAN RELAX ON THE BALCONY OVERLOOKING THE BAY. NICE.

Not great. Unit/complex is very tired.Key to get into elevator, stairs, ice machine very inconvenient. Master bed caves in middle, missing support under bed,comforter&blanket; dirty&stained.I; had to wash sheets in 2nd b/r due to musty smell. No hot water in 2nd bath shower. Kitchen toaster didn't work, 2 forks, 3knives, needs flatware, needs wine glasses. Light out in dining room.Can't imagine management didn't know of any of these problems. Parking is tight & limited. Charged double for the week due to Lobster season.Not worth the $3,000.

This was our third time staying in the Flamingo Retreat. We love staying here, however there are a few areas of opportunity. All 3 mattresses in the room are horrible. It is like sleeping in a canyon. The shower has very little water pressure and the water does not get very hot. Also the televisions in the rooms are terribly small. It's like trying to watch t.v. on a computer monitor in the bedrooms. Overall we love staying here and plan on coming back next year, these are just a few suggestions.

Recently stayed here with another couple. Apartment was nice and comfortable for the four of us. Location was within walking distance of Duval and Front St. 15 to 20 min. nice walk right down Truman or through the streets to see how the locals live. Easy check in and check out. Front desk people were excellent. Close to beach. Only thing I would do different is check to make sure you don't have any spring breakers in apt. upstairs or downstairs. The 4am wake up when they came home wasn't one of my highlights but I can remember those days so I just rolled over and went back to sleep. My wife and the other couple never heard them so I guess we had a great time those two nights ourselves. The price was reasonable. Pool needs sprucing up. Would recommend for people just looking for a place to stay within walking distance no frills.

Many pros, only con is that it was one mile from Duval Street. So if you are looking to stay a quick walk away from all of the bars and restaurants, maybe pick a closer place. We rented bikes and it worked perfectly, however.

Our company ran the Ragnar Relay race and needed a place to stay at the end for a group. Everyone was very comfortable at this location. We actually rented two condos for the night and everyone said they were very comfortable and that they had plenty of room. Thank you for allowing us to rent these condos for a short term. It was the icing on the cake at the end of a very long, but fun couple of days.

Our stay in 3020 was OK. Two points: the central air conditioning does NOT work in this unit. The condo temp. never went below 80degrees. Secondly, we had to wash our feet every time we walked barefoot - tiles and lanai floor made our feet bottoms black.

Our stay was absolutely outstanding. The only recommendation I might add is the need to maybe collect trash more often being that there is lots of food stuff and fish it attracted lots of flies. Besides that, the place is an absolute 5.
