Ohh yes we miss being there! Always nervous about paying all of the money up front so I prefer a realtor whose credentials can be verified. RentKW exceeded expectations and Paige was courteous and professional.
Unit #104 was exactly as pictured. The complex is gated. What you can't see is that the unit is Not at ground level but rather on the second floor as there is a parking garage under the building so your vehicle is out of the elements. There is an elevator within 20 feet of your parking space in the garage. The common walkway leading from the elevator makes you think you are about to enter a motel room but open the door and find relief. A gracious entry hall leading to the combined living and dining rooms with a huge patio beyond and that palm tree framed view of the water. We were very pleased and relieved. Large flat screen tv's in the masterbedroom and living room with cable tv and wireless internet. The king sized bed is a comfortable foam type mattress and sliding doors also lead to the patio. The sectional sofa is a sleeper. Kitchen needs updating but it's a rental. I would like more than one frying pan! Great to have the existing washer/dryer in the unit for those lengthy stays. They definitely need a new cleaning service, for these rates the place should be spotless. The spacious patio is comfortably furnished and the water is less than two car lengths away. Small amounts of dead seaweed wash ashore but I didn't find it to be offensive. The water was very shallow and calm (no waves), more like a lake than an ocean. Because of this, sound travels and the frequent passing navy fighter jets are heard better than seen. I think you notice because it is otherwise so peaceful and quiet. Nearby is a public beach with both homeless and roosters, depending on where you are from you've seen one or the other. Town is too far to walk and too close to drive? Shop, eat, drink and forget that long drive back to the mainland,..you're in key west!!!

We were very impressed with the condo.

We spent 2 weeks at this condo, it was beautiful. We were right on the ocean and spent numerous hours on the large lani. The condo was very roomy and well kept. Our only problem was on a few different occasions we noticed a very bad odor outside both on the lani and at the pool. We were told it was from the seaweed.

      But still a beatuful View

This is the ocean/beach outside of the #204 beach club condo we stayed at, as you can see the seaweed covered the beach area and very far into the water, so sorry to say we could not actually go into the ocean, and I would suggest if you are going to Key West for the beaches you will be very disappointed as we were! We found out that Key West was more for water sports then for hanging out on the beach. However we did find a great beach that the locals would rather keep for themselves so they wont tell you about it. Its called Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park it was a little bit of a drive from our condo, but well worth it! I just would of liked to have known before hand, we found out about this beach on the Internet, and sorry to say a little late into our trip, so we only got to go one time and I we would of went everyday if we would of know! Also they need to hire a new cleaning person! Our Condo was less then clean! Besides the dust all over everything, we seen food on the floor (kids fish crackers), and kids fingerprints all over on the sliding glass doors, and they could have repaired the tile floors where they were broke and the big cracks in the mirrored wall in the living room area and it was very hard to take a shower in the master bedroom because of the way the tub was made, they definitely needed to extend the shower head out way more. I guess I expected way more, especially for the amount we payed to stay in this condo. It wasn't cheap by no means, so we expected it to be top of the line, and was very disappointed!

We recently stayed at the Key West Beach Club (#104) and truly enjoyed our time. Each pool area was very tastefully decorated featuring areas to get a break from the sun. We enjoyed several meals poolside utilizing the condo's gas grill. The condo was also tastefully decorated and had a large flat screen tv with surround sound in the living room. The kitchen came complete with all the essentials needed to prepare meals. The fitness room had fairly updated equipment with elliptical, treadmills, free weights up to 50lbs, etc and an ocean view. The oceanfront is very natural with seaweed, however, our toddler spent hours digging in the sandy strip of narrow beach closer to the condo. Though this strip of beach is too small to lounge on, family oriented Higgs Beach was within a very short walking distance. A playground, restauraunt, free public garden within an old civil war fort, dog park, and pier acceptable for fishing are all within the short stroll from the front gate! Kw Beach Club is a great choice for accommodations if your looking for a quieter area to stay with nearby outdoor activities accessible. It is a hike to Mallory Square/ Duvall St. Walking, but a moped or bike ride makes any area of the island very accessible!

The view was beautiful. We especially enjoyed overlooking the ocean from the balcony with access from the both the living room and master bedroom. The location was perfect; peaceful and quiet yet not too far from all the action on Devaul Street.

      Wow!

This rental was fabulous. The person took care in creating beautifully decorated rooms with a well supplied kitchen. The living room had an HD huge screen with surround sound for rainy days. The patio was oversized with comfortable seating and table and chairs. We used it as a second family room spending most of our time there. Pool area was great with state of the art barbecuing facilities and dining area which we took advantage of. Our was surprised how little the actual sand area was and the seaweed was not cleaned off so it made it hard to going walking on the beach. Our only problem was communication with the rental agency. We were told not to check in until 3:00 and when we got to the gate found out we were supposed to go downtown to pick up key. We weren't sent the paperwork that explained the office is not on site, but downtown. Luckily we had rented a car. When we arrived at the rental office we were asked what took us so long. They did not know about the phone call that instructed us to arrive at 3:00 p.m. Our stay at this beautiful rental and perfect view of beach and ocean off our patio did make up for all the confusion at the start of the vacation.

stunning peaceful ocean view location. Enjoy duval street and the tourist bits during the day then return to the best views and nicest accomadations in the evening. We eat, drank and slept on the hugh balcony that over looks the sea. we watched the sun come up over the horizon every morning. The service recieved from rentKW was first class. worth every penny. We drove and didnt find it difficult to park in town at any time. Wifi worked perfectly. Had problem with one or two ceiling fans otherwise the interior, furnishings modern and looked great. The place was clean and well maintained.

Great View/Very Comfortable/A little out of the way

Left on 08/24/2011 for a stay in August 2011

Check in was very smooth. Great recommendations for things to do from folks at Rent Key West Vacations. (Danger Charters Snorkeling/Kayaking cruise; Barefoot Billy's Jet Ski Tour; Fort Zachary Taylor State Park Beach, etc) Upon arriving at condo we found it to be very clean with the a/C cranking! As soon as you walk in your eyes are drawn to the beautiful view out over the ocean. Condo had all we needed for a great week of relaxing. Comfortable beds; great bathrooms; nice Tv's in both bedrooms and in living room. Wi-Fi was easy to access and reliable. Small health facility on-site had pretty much all you needed if you chose to work out. Nice pool with plenty of places to lounge either in the shade or sun. One downside to the location was the amount of sea grass growing in the ocean right off the beach. Some seagrass was on the beach and was decaying. This could put off an odor but not enough to make things totally unpleasant. There were some protected sea turtle eggs waiting to hatch right ouside our balcony which was interesting. Nice beaches at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and we also had a nice time at Higgs Beach which had much less of the seagrass growing even though it was just a few hundred yards away. The condo is far enough away from all of the activities that you needed to either drive (parking is very tough) or ride a bike. This is good and bad. We walked to Duvall Street one day but it is about 3.5 miles round trip. Condo has covered parking for each unit and security gates to enter the grounds. Overall, great value and a wonderful vacation.

      Okay stay

Left on 07/24/2011 for a stay in July 2011

The location of the condo was really nice and very quiet. The pool area was fantastic. We met really great people and enjoyed our stay. However, I do have a couple of suggestions. The beach area was covered with sea grass and as the week progressed the smell was really bad and we weren't able to sit comfortably by the pool or on the balcony. The other challenge we faced was the overwhelming amount of dog hair in the condo. It was everywhere, kitchen counters, bathrooms, on the linens, etc. The condo certainly needed to be cleaned and I wouldn't suggest staying in that specific condo again.

Good facility overall, but lots of rules for teeneagers

Left on 04/16/2011 for a stay in March 2011

Beach Club #104 is nicely and recently decorated. Everything was in good working order (TVs, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances). The cleaning service could have done a better job. There are a number of loose floor tiles which could be dangerous for older renters. The public areas are well kept, but there are some rather draconian rules -- the owners are not particularly friendly and I have to assume that as a condo buiding they voted to allow rentals, and that the rental income assists with some of the assessments, so their attitude is misplaced. The proximity to the beach (2 different ones) is easy walking distance. The balcony and view are beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere and away from the more populated areas but close enough to go to the restaurants, shopping easily. You do need a car.
