Duval Street Suite's panoramic views of the Key West street scene make it a popular choice for Fantasy Fest and other Key West special events. Watch the parades from your front seat balcony or just observe the world go by while reclining on the balustrade's whitewashed Adirondack chairs - hidden above - in your own historic paradise. The expansive wraparound second-floor porch on Duval has terraced views toward the Atlantic Ocean on the right and several quaint shops below - including the award-winning Key Lime Pie Company. Dine at locals' favorite neighborhood restaurants - 915 or La Te Da or Havana - Key West; and, Flamingo Crossing may ha...ve the best ice cream in town. Stroll down the street to San Carlos Institute where Jose Marti spoke; this 360-seat theater is a present day center for concerts during the Songwriters' Festival and dramatic readings during the annual Literary Seminar. Duval Street Suite has everything you need for an unforgettable stay - whether you are traveling for business or pleasure.
This Key West historic hideaway offers wraparound porches and endless views of Duval Street - designed to ensure a vacation rental paradise for people watchers. Celebrate the echo of Key West history at the restored Cuban Club where families of wealthy cigar makers danced the night away in years past. Enjoy all the amenities and convenience of modern times - as well as the cross breezes from each balcony - when not strolling to downtown activities or our very own South Beach. This very spacious two bedroom and two bath condominium is found at the quiet end of Duval Street - in the heart of Old Town - a perfect location to explore nighttime entertainment venues as well as the best boutiques, art galleries, and gourmet restaurants of Key West.
Cathedral ceilings, polished woods, and warm interiors surround one in comfort and offer an enticing escape from everyday life - while metallic flamingos watch island style from the walls. Six sunny, full-length French doors open from the dining room, living room, and bedroom onto the lush Bahamian-style wraparound balcony measuring 75' by 6'; even the downstairs shower has a door on to the sun-washed veranda! There are two large and airy bedrooms - one directly off the second-floor portico and another at the top of the staircase overlooking the living and dining rooms; this condo sleeps six with the choice of king and queen beds or a pull-out sofa. There is a fully-equipped kitchen right down to the corkscrew, washer/dryer, ironing board, high speed internet service - and an off street parking space behind the unit. This vacation rental hideaway comes with a family pass to Ft. Taylor State Park - the preferred beach of Old Town residents!

Loved the people watching... didn't plan it but actually became a part of train tour, coffee and jammies included!!!
Nothing but a good experience with historic hideaways. I would suggest updating the kitchen cooking supplies but overall a great place to stay.

This was the second time I've stayed in the suite and I highly recommend it. Balcony has a great view, and can't beat the combination of space and location. Would definitely stay here again, and the people at Historic Hideaways are very easy to work with.
Great Location, lots of space

My fiancé and I rented the place out for our weekend wedding. It had more than enough toiletries and linen. Wi-Fi was a great plus. It fit 6 people comfortably. The balcony view was great. The office manager/person was a delight. We loved the location and would rent it out again.

we had the time of our lives at the songwriter's festival and our accomodatations at duval street suites were amazing! we will be back and we will recommend them to everyone we know. the location is perfect for anyone attending multiple venues in a short amount of time. the condo had everything we needed already there for us. the porch is the best asset by far...perfect for relaxing in the evening or coffee in the morning.
Amazing vacation on this wonderful Key West landmark overlooking

This lovely, spacious duplex with its wrap around, second story veranda, made our vacation. We started every morning watching Key West awaken with coffee and breakfast on the veranda. Whether we made breakfast in the well equiped kitchen, or brought in from the excellent french patisserie two blocks away, it was a beautiful way to start the day. At the end of the evening, after enjoying the nightlife at our doorstep, it was lovely to wind down with cocktails on the porch, as well.
This comfortable, beautifully furnished duplex with a master loft with private bath and sun porch, was very comfortable for 4 (or 5) and the location was perfect. We were right in the middle of it all on the main street that connects Mallory Square at on end to the southernmost beaches at the other. A parking space comes with the property which was very conveient.
Tim and the rest of the gentlemen at Historic Hideaways were so helpful and available, and made our stay lovely. They worked with us on everthing from restaurant suggestions, to passes to the private beach that came with the property.
Highest ratings for Historic Hideaways and for this beautiful property.
Loved the balcony time

We arrived on a Sunday and getting the key was not a problem, we did have a problem with the sofa bed, not in very good shape, but we made the best of it. The last time we stayed in this suite, it was ran by Douglas House and I did not know till I signed the contract that I would be responsible for stripping beds and doing laundry of the towels, also we did not know there was no pool usage, I thought that was ridiculous considering what I paid for the 5 days, also most of the blinds covering the windows or doors were broken or missing and the balcony was great, but very dirty, it needs a good pressure washing. Aside from this we had a good time and will return to Keywest every year as we have for the past 15. I doubt it will be the Duavel Street Suite.

This spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment was perfect for our Keys trip. The balcony was breezy and giant! Definitely hope we can get this place for Fantasy Fest.
Came to visit Key West, not stay in the house!

The Duval Street Suite had the advantage of accommodating 4 adults easily, but it would have been helpful to know that the upstairs "main" bedroom is actually a large loft...no door for privacy from the rest of the domicile. For us, this was not a problem...we stuck the kids up there. For two couples, it would be an issue probably...but then, this is Key West and most anything goes.
The digs were fine for the price, and location was okay. The only complaints we have are that the refrigerator did not cool very well, and all but one light bulb went out of the downstairs bath.
The good news is that the folks at Historic Hideaways were excellent to deal with and very accommodating and professional. We highly recommend Tim and his staff for any stay in Key West. Check with them first!
In a word: awesome!

We walked into the place and the first words out of everyone's mouth was wow! The property was well mantained. It was clean, and the location could not have been better! Eveeryone at Historic Hideaway was fantastic. I had originally booked another property thru another company, and from the start I had a strange feeling. The other company made me feel like they were doing me a favor by letting me stay there. I finally cancelled with them, and stumbled upon Historic Hideaway. From the first call to the last, everyone was friendly, helpful, happy that we were staying with them. I will not book a property with anyone but Historic Hideaway form now on!

The property is located in an excellent spot - walking distance to everything we needed. Tim was awesome when we checked in and helped us with our unexpected needs(we had a seagull crash into our windshield on the drive down to Key West.) The property has an great balcony to enjoy a cocktail (or two!) and take in all the sights & sounds of Duvall Street. We loved it there and will book this property again next time we head to Key West.

This place was perfect for us. It had everything we wanted - full kitchen, variety of living spaces, outdoor seating, great view of the town, wireless internet (though you really shouldn't need this on vacation!) - just to name a few of the things. It was very comfortable and well maintained. You couldn't beat sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the town wake up or ending your evening with a cocktail watching all the evening activities.
The location was great. We were within a few blocks from our favorite beach/bar - Southern Most Beach Cafe - as well as easily walkable for anything else we wanted to do. Since it was at the "quite" end of Duval Street, you did not have to worry about a lot of noise late at night.
The people at Historic Hideaways were great to work with and available whenever we had questions (this was a big plus). They allowed us to store our luggage at their facility, arranged cabs, and just ensured that everything went smoothly.
We would definitely stay here again.

very nice accomidations work the extra bucks to be overlooking Duval St. for nightly entertainment. Steve was very helpful with a last minute "late" check-in. He assurred me there would be no problems and he was correct. Only disapointment was No pool at this location-they offered access to on but not what we hoped.

Were are a pack of 4 (females), in our 40's, all grew up together. This condo was perfect for us. It was spacious and clean and the location is spot-on. Take a right to the beach (south beach is awesome: Chez lounge and umbrellas, bar right on the beach. Fletcher, the beach manager treats you like royalty, excellent guy). Take a left to everything else. Fabulous restaurants and bars just across the street as well (bloodys with brunch at La Te da, and off you go). The porch on this condo is key, it absolutely makes the place. We lived out there.
