    Additional notes from owner

Email for rate for your desired week(s). Rates are from $900/week to $2500/week depending on which week of the year you desire. Tax is 12.5%.

The silly number above for the nightly rate is because FlipKey's idiotic form will not let the advertiser enter anything without entering a nightly rate. By law the condo has a week minimum. If a nightly rate (as opposed to a weekly rate) is advertised then that implies it can be rented by the night which is not legal, thus the authorities could fine the owner for advertising a nightly rental. Obviously this is pretty stupid but FlipKey refuses to do anything about it.

We have multiple units so we are not using the calendar very much because if this unit happens to not be available there may be other units that are available for your desired dates...

      True Key West Experience

Left on 12/31/2012 for a stay in December 2012

If you are looking for pristine conditions, try another island, but if you are looking for a great location, great place to stay and the true Key West experience, this is the place. Five minute walk to Duval or Fort Zachary Taylor State Park Beach puts you close to everything but far enough away to relax. The condo is a second floor unit with two bedrooms each with its own bathroom, a small balcony with patio set for morning coffee and gas grill for afternoon hamburgers or evening BBQ. A blender for mixing the frozen concoctions to help you hang on and a bookshelf stereo (minus aUX input for iPhone/iPod connection) for the island mix. Community pool for relaxing afternoon, but can be crowded at times. May not be the most pristine condo around, but for value, location and amenities you cannot go wrong.

      Perfect Location

Left on 04/29/2012 for a stay in April 2012

From the start, Dave Lewis was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional and friendly. He was quick to respond to each and every e-mail and phone call. The condo was in a location central everything, but tucked inside a private gated community that was lush and quiet. Will return again!

      Highly Recommend

Left on 04/16/2012 for a stay in January 2011

I highly recommend this rental! It was conveniently located only a few short blocks on foot from Duval Street. It was very spacious, reasonably priced and in great condition with many amenities. The best part was that you could save money by buying groceries at the local store and have a few meals at the condo. The annex is beautiful and it was a great neighborhood for our morning runs and also a short walk to the national park with beach access. The walk from the annex down to Mallory square wasn't far at all and Mallory Square is where all the fun is, especially in the evening when all the street performers come out. I would highly recommend this Condo to anyway and everyone interested in staying in Key West. It would be great for a family, two couples, one couple or just one person. The nice thing about the two bedrooms is that they were on opposite sides of the livingroom from each other and the one had a bathroom right in the bedroom and the other one the bathroom was just outside the door. We stayed for over a week and even used the washer and dryer during our stay. They even had a place to park your rental car in this gated community. I can't say enough what a wonderful place this was to stay and the property manager Dave answered all my questions and was only a phone call away!

      Great Location

Left on 06/16/2011 for a stay in April 2010

My husband and another couple stayed here in the two bedroom two bath condo Shipyard unit 276 in april of 2010. This was are first time to Key West and needless to say we are looking to go back next year and hope to stay in this unit again.
Check-In at the security gate went smooth, we found our unit quickly. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to cook and clean up after ourselves.
This unit is located on the second floor has a washer and dryer as well as a balcony. The pool is within walking distance which we enjoyed and met other people staying on the grounds. You are able to bring beverages to the pool as long as there is no glass. We did bring our ipod for some music but, we didn't play it very loud. The condo is roomy as you have the washer dryer and two bathrooms in between the bedrooms so, if privacy is an issue there isn't one here.
As far as location to everything to do in Key West - I would recommend going to the grocery store on your way to checking into the Condo that way you will have everything you need and won't have to make another trip. Other then that you are just a couple of blocks from Duval Street - We did everything on foot and had a great time - I would visit Blue Heaven for breakfast which is located on the same street as the condo just a block down the street. The Green Parrot is a great place to kick off your day or to end your evening as it is only 1 block up the road from the unit. To save money I would buy groceries and hit Happy Hour at the Wharf everyday. We also did an excursion which included snorkling jet skis parasailing lunch drinks and offered free tickets to a sunset cruise while we were there then afterward since you are already at the Wharf you can hit Happy Hour!
Shipyard unit 276 was reasonably priced for our week stay - we had a great time!

      Great Location!

Left on 06/08/2011 for a stay in July 2010

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Shipyard Condominiums. Close enough to most of the Key West attractions and restaurants that a car is not necessary. Our unit was well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. We would not hesitate to stay there again on our next visit to Key West.

Great condo in a great part of town

Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in January 2010

My husband and I stayed at this condo with our 2 young children and it was so nice. Very close to the state park and not too far from the main harbor area. The condo had everything we needed, from beach toys and plenty of towels to a kitchen full of the necessary pans and utensils for cooking the meals we wanted too. It's a bright cheery condo on a quieter street. You'll be happy you rented here!

      Nice clean, easy walking distance

Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in August 2010

This is a nice condo. We were two couples and it was perfect! The bedrooms are on each end of the unit so privacy is not an issue for non-relatives. Plenty of dishes etc in the cabinets. The pool was nice and clean. You are 2 blocks off Duval street, with a nice bar along the way. The Truman White House is right down the street. It is quiet and away from all the noise, but close to all the action. When we return to Key West we will definately stay here again.

      Great Location and Reasonably Priced

Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in February 2011

This unit is convenient to restaurants, shopping and Old Town. It's quite comfortable, though some of the appliances and entertainment items are a bit past their prime. The unit is a great location and I fully intend to rent it again.
