We loved the property the location was perfect, right near everything. Easy access everywhere. The rental was beautiful, and fully appointed. The grounds were well maintained. Whoever maintains their orchids does a great job.
The service from at Home in Key Wes was wonderful. Although we never saw anyone in person due to our arrival hour and departure, there we no problems.
Only issue, who to call at night when other tenants were loud. We had someone from Maine in another unit who thought the pool was open all night. We had no one to contact.

Easy to reserve, check in, check out. Nicely decorated unit, well landscaped surroundings with interesting wildlife. Easy walk to Duval St and other areas of interest.
All appliances were in good working order. Nice pool, could be a bit warmer. Rental staff was pleasant and helpful. Would be 5 star if it had a spa/hot tub.
Would stay there again. -

We stayed at the Leeward Isle Key West Retreat in Dec. 2012 for 10 days. In our opinion this is a very unique property to the Key West area. The condo was equiped with all the necessary (and then some) items to make our stay enjoyable. What makes this property unique is the size, privacy and location. Some locations have one or two of the three, but this location has it all. We were within easy walking distance to all attractions and night life in the area. I would highly recommend this property and will stay here again when we go back to Key West.

All 13 properties are in a small gated community are two storey very pretty houses. The secure complex is set around a good sized pool.
The location is excelent, just 2 blocks from central Duvall Street.
The website does not do this property justice. It is a well designed furnished two bedroomed property with two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equiped as is the rest of the house. The ownwer has provided every item from safety pins to laundry soap. We left a replacement for everything we used but replacements were not requested.
The living space is well designed and spacious. Free Wifi is included. There is an ingenious washer drier facility, (we are from UK!) a large fridge/freezer and an efficient oven and microwave.
The beds are of good quality with good quality bedding. Towels are plentiful.
We would not hesitate to recommend this property -

At home was very easy to work with. Check-in was a breeze and very friendly. The home was very clean and well equipped with everything imaginable. It was gated and private, as well as within walking distance to many of the attractions. I loved the quiet atmosphere of the rental and accessability to attractions. There is a bike rental across the street. Bikes are definately a great way to travel.

Leeward Isle Key West Retreat was a wonderful place to stay. The unit was in great condition and in a great location. It was just close enough to Duval street for daytime activities with a young family and plenty quiet at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to going back.

This property is only a block or so away from Duval, so is convenient for everything Key West has to offer. Despite this proximity it is an oasis of calm being one of 12 properties set back from the main road in a gated courtyard and surrounding a pool. The place is immaculate and has everything one would need. The decor is fresh, well maintained, very clean and the beds very comfortable. The place seems to be adults only, which is a plus. The heated pool is well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

10 days in paradise! Beautiful residence, and when they say fully equiped, that is an understatement. Sharp knives, containers for leftovers, grill at the back door, pool at the front. Beautiful porch setting and brick patio between the porch and picket fence. The gated compound is maticulously maintained and so quiet and peaceful. Perfect location, could not ask for more. Special thanks to at Home in Key West (Lida!)for her patience with any and all questions. (PS: she likes chocolate.) Stay was worth the $$.

The kitchen was very well equipped. Had everything that we could possibly want. The beds were comfortable and the town home was spacious enough for four adults. The decor was vibrant and definitely reflected the Key West personality. Great location within easy walking distance of both sides of the island depending upon what was scheduled for the day. Used the heated pool to relax after riding bikes around the island all morning long. Would definitely recommend this condo to others.

The house is absolutely beautiful, well maintained and in the perfection location to walk almost everywhere! The pool was perfect, never had more than a couple of people in it at a time and was pristine! The bathrooms and pantry were stocked with essentials that past vacationers have left to make life a bit easier. The only thing missing was a dvd player to help distract our 1 year old because the cable does not have Nickjr, but thankfully we had brought a laptap and were able to remedy the problem.

The house was awesome! The pictures didn't even really capture the cleanliness and the luxuries of this condo. Very spacious, well decorated and recently renovated. We were so happy to find a grill, satellite radio and two porches with outdoor furniture! My husband and I stayed with another couple and we really enjoyed being walkable to everything!!! Such a great place... I have already recommended it to many people!

My husband and I decided to plan a getaway as a distraction from our busy work and graduate school schedules. For us, this was the perfect destination, as the property provided easy access to all that Key West offers. Great restaurants right around the corner, Seven Fish was especially great seafood. Lots of opportunities to do outdoor activities, we took up Standup paddle boarding and literally got to experience "walking on water" above beautiful fish, starfish, stingrays and bonnet head sharks! And finally we had a clean and modern space to come back to recharge before the next day's activities. A great pool for a lazy day. We also like to cook, and the kitchen offered everything we needed to cook our local seafood.

We arrived in Key West early on the Key West Express. Check in was scheduled for 4pm but they let us check in early that was a bounus for sure. The people there were helpful and plesant to work with. The place itself was everything we hoped it would be myself and my 3 brothers were all impressed. We rented an electric car to get around with and we had a reserved parking spot at the house which was great and also had a place to charge the car. Overall great trip would stay again.

Stayed with my 3 brothers on a trip that has not been made in 18years. The people at at home key west were helpful and friendly. The place was secluded ,clean, and the pool was right out your front door. We rented an electric 4 seater car to travel around in and if you can do it do, lots of walking if not,also you have an assigned parking spots so no worries there and easy to park around key west just have lots of quarters. Lots to do and see, would stay again for sure.

Stayed with my two teeage daughters. The home was very clean and orderly. There were no issues at all. The pool was also very clean and the outdoor area was very well maintained. The area is quiet and secure--which was very important to us having never visited the area before. Staying in this area, though convenient, also required lots of walking. My recommendation is to rent bicycles for your entire stay to get around faster. There are plenty of places to secure bicycles nearby all attractions and beaches.

This past March was our 6th year staying at Leeward Isle. 5 out of the 6 visits we stayed in the same unit. We enjoy the peace and quiet along with the short walk to the "show". I cannot imagine staying anyplace else while visiting the island. The house is great and very comfortable. The pool and courtyard are wonderful.

The property location was perfect for walking around Old Town. We left the car parked for the whole visit. The unit seemed to be freshly remodeled with the bathrooms especially nice. The pictures really didn't do justice. The other guests in the closed community were great at the pool. Had a great stay.

Leeward Isle is truely a great place to stay when visiting Key West. I visit KW several times a year to fish the flats. I look for a place with off-street parking, a kitchen, pool, and peace and quiet. Many places have this but Leeward Isle simply has it better than any place I've stayed in KW. The kitchen is well equipped, pool is clean and large enough to actually swim in, and access to parking is easy. You might think that a location directly off of Truman Avenue, one block from Duval, would be loud and have street noise but trees and layout make for a quiet stay. I won't be looking for a better place to stay anymore.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The unit was perfect, clean and roomy. It could have used a new coat of paint but overall very nice. I really enjoy the proximity to Duval St. Close enough so that you are there in a 2 minute walk and far enough that you are not in the hub of excitement. The pool area is small but pool is delightful at 85 degrees. The only complaint is the condo units behind - loud children - screaming and really loud adults at 2 - 3 a.m. We love Key West and we would surely come back to this unit again.

We have stayed in this house three times now. The gated front area is perfect for our two young children, and the pool is just steps away from that. The house has everything we need -- fully equipped kitchen, pool/beach toys, beach towels, and full linens. The gated community is very quiet...it is our home away from home!

The property and the condo was perfect. Very close to Duval St. and ample parking both on lot and street. On property staff not friendly and rental staff a bit stuffy as friends were discouraged to visiting. When they say no more than 4 people staying at one time they mean it. Although the unit has ample space for more people and isn't this a vacation. A bit pricey but the unit has everything you need except your toothbrush which they probably had.
